new driver hp p1005 windows 8

Hello

I am trying to install the new driver (ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-en) on my computer hp dv6 laptop. (

Installation begins with a blue installation box that appears and after a while it seems that the progress of the installation is in a kind of loop and never finished (went to see the game the rolland garros on television and came back...).

It seems that there is a continuous interaction with the disk (led flashing..?), but like I said this is not going to any positive... Any help please!

Thanks for your reply.

Fortunately, my problem has been resolved by support technique hp here in Israel.

For the benefit of other users, my problem was connected with the Hebrew version of victory 8 that I have.

The official provided the driver version that HP provides on its Web site has somehow a problem with the victory of Hebrews 8. They provided a different version of the driver, and that solved the problem.

My opinion is that HP should at least put a comment about it on this site.

It took several tries (days..) until technical support includes the problem...

After a window few months started slow like a turtle, and then began there was not enough space on the drive to work. The hard drive on my HP desktop computer failed and died.  I don't have a recovery disk.  Can I reinstall windows XP on a new drive as Windows XP product key is located on the cover of PC.  If so, how?  Any suggestion please!

With the procuct only key?  No, you cannot, the product key is just a combination of 25 alphanumeric characters, where the installation files will come from?   You will need to contact HP for a recovery disc.

  • New Driver for MFC-4800 for Window Vista 64-bit?

    Hello
How can I get my printer Brother mfc 4800 to print using Windows Vista 64-bit.  The printer is connected by usb cable and the machine is recognized by the computer.  It appears in Control Panel > printer folder.  When I choose printer and each attempt a test page or print a document the printer "ramps" upward as it wants to print but nothing prints ever.  This printer is connected to a computer, that I just replaced that had XP as an operating system.   Printer drivers claim to be "integrated" in Vista. I call brother and they say he works at their end, there is something missing on the microsoft side.  If you the new driver or support can you pls send.

I hope someone can help. Thank you.

Above is the link for your model printer MFC 4800 drivers.

If you click on drivers in STEP 1, then STEP 2, check for the operating system, you will see that Vista is not an option, and so the Vista drivers were never written for this model of printer by brother.

They rely on drivers XP to do the work for them.

Brother is the one who wrote the drivers for its hardware, not Microsoft.

I suggest that revisit you brother and ask them when they wrote the so-called Vista compatible drivers for Microsoft.

It's all brother wrote for your model:

  • How to install windows on the new drive?

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion dv7-3080, which came with Windows7. Now, I bought a 120 GB SSD. I tried to install Windows on the SSD by selecting Factory Reset. However, I get the message that the size of the hard drive has changed and that's why I can't use Factory Reset.

Is there a way how can I use the Windows7 that came with my laptop and install this on my new drive!

To my knowledge, I am not break everything right since Windows7 came with the laptop and was part of the price I paid for the laptop.

    Kind regards

    Sja785

    Hello:

Partitions or recovery discs do not work on a smaller hard drive.

You need to install a simplified version of windows 7 on your SSD. You will not break the laws or rules of license by using the product key on the bottom of the PC to activate the installation.

However, if you can not read all 25 characters of the product key you are flat out of luck and will have to buy a new operating system.

Here's how to make your own simple Windows 7 installation disc if you have not already.

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

EU the link below to download the ISO of Windows Vista. It's totally free.
The site is Digital River. It is 100% legitimate. It is recognized and supported by Microsoft.

The link also teach you how to burn the iso file on a bootable install DVD.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/software-OS/w/microsoft_os/3317.2-3-Microsoft-Windows-Vista-official-ISO-download-links-Digital-River.aspx

Although it says Dell at the top of the page, it applies to both Dell or other than Dell.

Make sure that you select the correct version of bit.

    x 86 32-bit version =

    x 64 = 64-bit version.

  • Drive on which Windows XP to reside is always labeled as a system drive. How can I make one of the other disks that has Vista or 7 that the new system?

    Change the system drive

I'll try to explain my situation better than I can.

My situation is that when I used to have XP installed, I had installed the only drive I had back then which is now the drive D, for a long time, so I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit installed on two different discs, Vista is installed on drive C and 7 is installed on drive E , but I don't have XP that I had managed to get rid of it.

My problem is that the drive on which Windows XP to reside has always left this disc marked as system in the disk management window, and I was wondering how to do that one of the other readers who has Vista or 7 that the new system?

I already managed to change the startup disk from drive where Vista is installed to, it's just that I need to change the disk that is marked as system to another drive, such as D drive begins to show signs that it comes at the end of his life and I would like to move the startup folder as well as the other files needed to start on the other.

I assume that you installed Windows XP 1, then Vista, 7 (these 2 OS not in order)?

And Vista and 7 was by all means upgrade installation?

Since originally, that you have installed Windows XP on drive D, it should be marked as 'system' and retains so the tag 'system '.

The volume of the 'system' should be identified as the first primary partition active. It may or may not have the files it contains.

The fact that the system considers "system drive" does not mean that there are files that it contains.

Now, you want to delete the existing volume and create a new volume. Needs to be done outside the facility.
When you start the cd or DVD to start the installation list us readers, if you remove the volume the volume drive letter is already booked, so you get the next available drive letter, do not re-use the deleted volume drive letter.

If he removed during installation and then recreated as a new volume (formatting does not remove the volume, you need to delete the volume and recreate it)

-[Posted by Darrell Gorter [MSFT] in another forum.]

Try to format the XP partition and change the drive letter.

  • HP Probook 470 G2: Recovery 8.1 of Windows on a new drive

I have a HP Probook 470 G2. The original disk is fine, but I want to migrate to an SSD. I did a restore USB and replaced with a 120 GB SSD HD. It is much less than the size of the windows on the original disk partition so I don't see a problem with that.

Having exchanged the disks and booted from the USB, I chose "reset windows" and everything seems to go well until 74% when I'm "there was a problem of resetting your PC", with an option to restart.

I found a thread here where there are similar symptoms, but because I am using a new drive I don't think I can replace the drive in the middle of the recovery.

I saw some videos on YouTube that show a HP Recovery Manager in Windows itself (which I don't have) or in the screens according to press F11, and I don't understand that either.

I have to correct, then restart. Choice of troubleshooting, I get Refresh (does not work, because the disc is empty), refresh (arrives at 74% as I said) and advanced. Advanced led system, System Image recovery restore settings, Start Up repair, prompt command or UEFI firmware.

As I have said that there is no HP recovery in Windows itself, I used a Windows procedure, but he said the HP Recovery disc in the middle of the construction so I assumed that he had built himself ok. It's driving me crazy now, should not it lasts migrate to a better record, but I have not found a conclusive answer via Google or HP pages where my post here.

Any ideas? My position of strength, it's that I still have the HARD intact original disc so I did not burn bridges.

OK, so you pouvez use a recovery USB disk to install on a smaller disk. It's just that something was wrong with my recovery USB drive. I have a friend (with the same laptop) to create a recovery on his drive and it worked.

I need to format the hard drive but don't have the windows vista disc to reinstall, but have had the key code that vista was preinstalled do I have to buy a new drive for vista

    Hello

    How to reinstall Vista

Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

  • Reference Dell touchpad driver updated for Windows 10 new gesture

    Hello

A new major upgrade for Windows 10 has been released a few days ago, and the update included a new gesture that allow the user to pass the workstations with 4 fingers on the touchpad and slide between the left or right to switch workstations.

This new gesture does not work on my touchpad and I guess this can refer to the current version of the touchpad driver is not yet supported in this function because other gestures as three finger swipe to move all open windows and three finger tap to call Cortana are always works well for me.

I was wondering if there is no update for the driver for the touchpad to soon, or all those were just my own question...

    Thank you!
