• New icon for blackBerry Smartphones

  This morning I woke up to a new icon on my phone that I'm not familiar with. I thought it was appworld telling me there was an update available for one of my downloaded apps (there is for Pandora) but after downloading the upgrade, the icon is still there, after restart and all, any suggestions? It's a small arrow with a circle around it and the number 1

  A new icon has just appeared... no idea what/how it happened.

  It is a circle with an arrow pointing to the South West (if it was a compass). It also has a red dot on the top right of the circle.

  The icon indicates that there is a message unread, referring probably to the fact that there is an update available for a certain application in the BlackBerry App World.

  Since this is a generic message and not related to a specific account, the message must be visible by clicking on the Messages icon.

  Open the messages application/folder and you should find the message it informing you that there is an update available in App World. The message should send you to the appropriate application that must be updated.

  I don't think that you need to update the application to get rid of the icon; simply open the message should clear.

  Do not forget that in the file listener, you actually in the mail app not running your application.  You need get this change is made in your application.  The best way to proceed is to use GlobalEvents, that fire in your listener and deal with it in your Application to change the icon.

• Copy chapters into a new timeline for movie updated

  In a Blu Ray project in yet, I need to make some changes to my movie I have on the timeline.  Essentially to replace that which is there with a new.  Can I copy to a new chronology chapter markers so I don't need to go back into the movie laboriously and restore the chapter markers?  Can anyone recommend the best way to address the issue?

  I've had Bitdefender total security 2010 & uninstalled upgrade to version 2011. While I had it I thought that I would do all the updates before I reinstalled it, which includded the IE8 & around 11 or 12 other updates. Day & IE8 updates has not and when I rebooted to try again I couldn't on the internet at all. I have noticed the icon in the network, (network connections icon) folder. I used my laptop I looked on microsofts site troubleshooting for the icon missing and all running ok except DCOM security check. Now I can get on internet but very limited and still no icon and no install or uninstall. He tells me the windows setup program is damaged or was not correct. my pc is very slow and buggy. I got a list of errors in the events I'll also post below. I just format and reload, but I have a lot of very important work here. I'm trying to fix it before I go buy another HARD drive and starting over.  Here is the KB894543 of KB825826 & help section # s I've tried so far. I also started on the cd of win and did a chkdsk /r and still did not help.   I also get this a lot: Win32: access denied...   It is a decision that was made by Apple.  El Capitan is the newest OSX that will support a 2009 MBP.

  This is not uncommon.  My 2006 MBP came with Tiger, but is limited to OSX Snow Leopard.

  Old hardware ends up by becoming obsolete with newer technology.
