I have the new Imac with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775 M with 2 GB and FIRST CC I detected CUDA but in After Effects CS6 (11.03) last update so far, dosent detect GPU it is said is not compatible and uses OpenGL and CUDA zone is grayed out. Why first cc pro not recognize my card and the custom of After Effects. I did the thing of sniff upward into the Terminal and added my card in the list, and still nothing. someone, please help me understand that.

I just bought a brand new Alienware M17x R4 with Windows 8 Pro x 64 and Photoshop CS6 does not recognize my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675 M GPU?

I've already updated Windows 8, Photoshop and graphics drivers from Nvidia.

Any ideas?  I spent so much on a nice graphics card, but now it seems that PS CS6 cannot even use.  It uses rather the HD4000 Intel:

    pscs6.png

    I also tried this: http://forums.Adobe.com/message/4545768#4545768

And remove the settings, but that didn't help.

According to this, my graphics card should work, it's an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675 M, which is a 600 GPU series: http://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop/KB/Photoshop-CS6-GPU-FAQ.html#tested_cards

Tested for Photoshop CS6 video cards

Adobe has tested the following video cards before the release of Photoshop CS6. This paper presents the video card in the series. The minimum amount of RAM supported on video for Photoshop CS6 cards is 256 MB. 13.1 Photoshop cannot display features 3D if you have less than 512 MB of VRAM on your video card.

Important: This document is updated as newly released cards have been tested. However, Adobe cannot test the cards timely. If a video card is not listed here, but was released after may 2012, you can assume that the card will work with Photoshop CS6.

Adobe tested laptops and desktops of the following cards versions. Don't forget to download the latest driver for your specific model. (Laptop and desktop versions have slightly different names).

    nVidia GeForce 8000, 9000, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 series

I'm out of ideas.  Any suggestions?

So, I thought about it... duh.

My bad... or rather, Nvidia is bad!

In their app Profiler, they set Photoshop to use the settings "by default", which defaults to the built-in graphics card.  By changing the profile so that it uses the discrete graphics, it worked!

It also fixed my issue of the flashing background / flicker.

    I know it's a bug known with Windows 8 + AMD (http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/image-background-transparent-or-flickers.html)

However, Adobe should look at this same bug occurring with the HD4000 Intel Integrated GPU, because this happened with my laptop.

Maybe this bug does not occur on systems that don't have a GPU integrated, but on systems with Optimus, that's certainly a reproducible issue.

When I go to integrated, the question pops up again.

It's nice that Nvidia offers an option for us to use the graphics integrated or discrete, however, Adobe must proceed and make sure that Photoshop doesn't wig when we use the Integrated GPU.  Sometimes, your customers need to do work on the energy of the built-in battery, so the flicker /flashing / transparent background bug should definitely be fixed.

Personally, I can get 6 hours out of this laptop that runs the built-in GPU, but when I use the discreet, he cut down to only 2 hours.

After Effects uses your CPU and RAM mostly, not the GPU.

You only need NVIDIA CUDA for one function: acceleration of 3D compositions plotted in the Department. Your most recent Maxwell NVIDIA GPU does not contain the necessary OptiX library for this function so ever, it won't work to accelerate traced to the radius of the 3D compositions. I'm sorry.

The After Effects team no longer works on this feature, and suggests to use Cinema 4 d Lite (supplied) for your work in 3D instead. There are also some great third-party options to add 3D elements in After Effects as Invigorator Pro compositions and video Copilot 3D element.

    Hope that things cleared up.

    Thank you

I went to very difficult to leave my boyfriend to buy this pc.  First of all, that we now live in different countries.  I live in the United States and he lives in England.  We met on a PS3 game online called DUST 514 and played a lot of pc games together as well.  It is difficult to have to steal it back, but we're getting married soon and I'll come to England.  He needs a new PC for years and was jealous of my Alienware Aurora R4. So I decided to buy one that is still better than mine since it's even greater player I am . This will also allow us to play more games together .

Then I he wired the money and thought that everything would be ok, but you wouldn't believe the amount of screw - rises, that Dell threw on him!  They had even cancel a bunch of commands of the peoples, b/c, trying to control his spec-ed on Alienware has revealed a major screw-up affecting many clients... (Sorry, it made me delete/modify-this until his order passes through.  Dell representatives were concerned about what happened past.  I don't know if they told people that they had to cancel the real reason why orders and the possible impact on customers with currently Alienware Aurora...  I'll tell you what they have done after that his order is finally through.  Just a hint... inside your Alienware Aurora, check if you own to make sure that everything you ordered is actually there...)  He tried to do this for a week now...  I thought Dell was a little better than that... I knew they had bad grades, but really?...  In any case, it is a complete system stressed mess of it all back and on phone calls and e-mails with different people of Dell.  So I thought that, if it still manages to get the Alienware, maybe I can do even better!

He really should have an SSD, so I'll get a. He was talking and drool on the maps of Titan, so I'll give him two EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Superclocked 6 GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI - Express cards in SLI config! : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-06gp42791kr

I've never built a pc or tinkered with all hardware.  I want to make this even more impressive pc by adding an SSD.  I think I can install an SSD without any problem (I want the Samsung 849 EVO Mz-7TE1T0BW 2.5 "1 TB SSD)... Oops... I just thought of something... 4 TB SATA is actually 4 2 TB SATAs, put in place with 2 as the mirror...  I think that there are only 4 connectors for extension for SSD/HDD... Is this correct?  I have to replace one of the SATAs 2 TB with the 1 TB SSD?  What configuration I would define then the three SATAs 2 TB?  Would it be to say that he would have only 1 TB SATA? Could I set up so that it has SATA 1.5 TB (with SATAs split with half active and part of the half of the mirror for a RAID configuration)?  Furthermore, I have really no idea what RAID is or fact, just that you only half of total storage really active and the second half is as a backup in case of failure of a disk or something to avoid any data loss total... It is also the thing that I'm confused about that I don't know if it is also possible to install two graphics cards of Titan in SLI configuration on the micro ATX motherboard, I guess its Alienware Aurora will be, and still less 1 Titan.  Yes I know it is exaggeration lol, but the game is very important for us, especially since this is how we met.

Sorry for the long post... Finally, the MAIN POINT & QUESTION:

I have to install a different motherboard like the Asus Rampage Black Edition IV: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-rampageivblackedition in order to install two Titan GPU in SLI configuration?  If so, how this O_o...?  Also, I heard that there is a 'girl' Council that controls the Alien FX LED lighting and ventilation Active... How to connect to the new motherboard (if I need to get a new one)?  Also if I get the other motherboard (if this motherboard work with everything) this motherboard would have space for 4 x 2 TB RAID 1 + 0 and the 1 TB SSD SATAs?

    Please answer.  Thanks, ~ value

to install two Titan GPU in SLI configuration?

Don't know why you config-ed with two years 780 in SLI if you want two Titan-SLI but this guy did:

    http://en.community.Dell.com/Owners-Club/Alienware/f/3746/p/19512935/20402844.aspx#20402844

Personally, I'd keep just 780 - SLI, since the two configs end up being very similar to the performance. Either they're going run hot (in the game of max.).

  • Yosemite 10.10.1, After Effects and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB is no longer compatible?

    Hello

I recently updated my iMac 2012 end of Maverick in Yosemite 10.10.1. The main function of the system is the graphic and video production using Adobe 2014 Creative Cloud application suite. It is equipped with a CUDA GPU of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB.

Adobe applications Yosemite before authorized update BOF CUDA accelerated makes. After the update to OS that it is no longer an option that I realized when I open an After Effects project and was informed that ray-tracing was more accessible and requires CUDA 5.0 or later.

This led me to download and try to update the correct GPU GeForce driver, which I believe this here:http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/81212

I downloaded and opened the package to start the installation and immediately received this message:

"Not supported by the computer. This computer is not compatible with the NVIDIA of the web driver. »

The platform OS Yosemite is incompatible with my GPU now? The operating system and GPU were previously in harmony. The accelerated rendering of CUDA is critical to my work. If possible, can I go back to Maverick?

Everyone knows about this problem? Am I just tried installing the wrong driver of GPU?

Thanks for your suggestions or leads.

I was looking for ot install and update the driver incorrect. I had updates to the CUDA Panel: http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-...37-driver.html.

If this isn't the case, could you please solve the problem for me. Because I believe that there is no problem with my PC hardware and it should work fine.

    Best regards and thank you

    Hi Ken,

Watch high aon back of the graphics card for a switch.  See the image below.

You should have received a leaflet in the box describing the use of the switch (legacy mode or UEFI).  If your PC is a version 8 HP BIOS then disable secure boot if set. If your PC isn't at the level of the BIOS version 8 and then the switch must be in position inherited.  The brochure should describe the use of the switch.

  • Intermittent outages Desktop HP Pavilion p6510f - 25 Antec 430 WATT power & NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 650

After installing a video card and a new PSU (Antec 25 430 WATT power & NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 650), my system has become unstable.  It worked fine for the first 3-4 hours, then had a BSOD (blue screen of death) with kernel_data_inpage_error 0000007 a and later a 000000F4 of critical failure of the process.  I did all the tests mentioned on this page but also removed and replaced the cmos battery:

    * 1137.html http://www.faultwire.com/solutions-fatal_error/kernel-Data-InPage-Error-0x0000007A-

All the tests passed and no problems have been found, and yet the system still does not work after 3-4 hours of use.

So, I removed from my system and restored to its original settings.  He seems to be back to normal now (but we'll see how long).

This experience has demoralized me.  This is because I heard other people having difficulties trying to upgrade their systems.  Looks like he has about a 50% success rate, unless you know what works from past experiences.  I think that the only way to get a system that now has good graphics is a well tested game box (PS3, XBOX or Wii).  Are there any recommended or possibly well tested configurations for this type of system that could give me the quality of a GEFORCE GTX 650 without result in a blue screen or instability for my computer?

Because this computer comes with ATI and AMD parts, I guess that maybe to get an ATI or AMD graphics card would work?  Whatever the graphics card, the 250W power that comes with this system would probably need to be replaced.  Are there any power supplys that recommend or possibly tested?

I realize there are a few questions in this post, but I have a more.  Is there any motherboard of analytical tools to enusre that nothing went wrong with the motherboard?  When the blue screens are produced that it seemed to make strange noises from the drive as he stole it and after the reboot it would sometimes fail to recognize the existence of the hard drive as well.  Given that all the hard drive passed (I also ran SeaTools), which leads me to believe that power is great, but I fear now that if I upgrade the power it will only cause more problems.

    A paying, customer

    Zintage

The machine was only 2 years old.  It of a shame that it worked so well for so long and then brought by a poor diet.  It is a 750 GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive.

I went back to the power supply and the video card, cut my losses and buy a 1 TB drive.  I cloned the old disk (on fortunately he was still working) and left on for more than 24 hours.  The system is now on his feet and works as it should.  Who will be last and only attempt to upgrade.

  • NVIDIA Geforce GTX 770 on a Dell Inspiron years 620

    Hello everyone,

I have a Dell Inspiron of the 620 years and my question is this: can I put a Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 in my PC?

    Thank you.

You had already posted the R9 280 X and I said that these cards full size do not fit in the 620 years.  The best card you can get for this system is the low profile Sapphire HD 7750 shown here if you can still find available.  If you are looking for a high-end gaming card, you will need to buy a new computer, because high-end gaming cards simply do not match your case.  If you want cards like the GTX 770 or R9 280 X, I suggest you build your own computer.

I was playing a game and poof... the computer off.  I rebooted and I was 800 x 600.  The computer works fine now, but it does not recognize my Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 M.  So I think he's dead.

I tried everything (drivers, BIOS, troubleshooting, waiting to see if she magically came back).  Nothing has worked.

I need to buy a replacement, but online is incomplete and a computer guy said only he could do was to China and would take at least two weeks.

    Reference Dell sells this replacement?

For the record, the system is out of warranty.

This is a good opportunity to upgrade you GPU at a GTX680 or if your confident enough to small drivers mods then a GTX780.

Dell will tell you the GTX780 is 'not validated for this system.

Their significance is they have refused to release the machine and identification of GPU NVIDIA and AMD codes so when the pilot checks "compatible devices" are back with a negative.

Easily fixed by modding the display driver to include your machine and GPU identification codes.

I bought the card Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 (2 GB of VRAM) specifically to run on my Mac Pro 2012 with after effects CC and it worked fine.

Now, I've upgraded to AE 2014.1.1 and I get an error stating I have no CUDA compatible card and to install at least CUDA 5.0 (I have the latest installed 6.0.54) and I want to use Ray Tracing in AE, so it is quite a setback, I know what AE didn't use CUDA for much other than the acceleration of the interface a bit.

Ideas that happened and how do I get the AE to recognize a card lets it know?

    TIA

    Kevin

I found a solution to this!

I noticed when I checked in AE preferences it says he had not installed CUDA driver.

When I watched my CUDA driver through system preferences on my Mac, it said that there is no update available for my CUDA driver v 6.0.54

So I jumped on to CUDA downloads and there was a version 6.5 also supports OS x 10.10 Yosemite.

I installed and now After Effects 2014.1.1 use my GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 Ray Trace mode!

  • Photoshop CS5 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 Crash

    My profile:

    Photoshop CS5 (x 64)

    Windows 7 x 64

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 (latest driver v197.45)

    Intel i7 920 2.67 GHz

My card is listed as tested for CS5 and NVIDIA card says that it's compatible with CS5, but today after using it, my screen went blank and the display driver recovered himself. It took about 5 minutes until Photoshop CS5 became responsive and the GPU features have been disabled. I will try GPU in advanced mode and basic instead of the normal mode to see what happens, but it's a shame that I have problems of this kind. I also had problems with CS4 like that.

What I did to cause this problem: "I clicked on" Place... "to place an object, and that's when it crashed. It happens randomly that I use Photoshop. Please NVIDIA or Adobe to solve this problem. I love the GPU features and I want to run them, but this crash is boring to spend as much on the purchase of this product. I hate to have to pay to contact Adobe technical support, it should be included with the purchase of the software!

How do I fix this without having to go through the mode based GPU or disabled GPU?

Well my crash started back with the latest drivers again with the registry tweak and even disabled completely OpenGL. I was going to start to use Gimp but decided to make one last search and then found this thread: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=179747&st=20

Holy cow, thanks to this thread, I solved the problem! This idea of downclocking the card itself and other questions related power led me to this fix: go to the NVIDIA Control Panel--> manage settings 3D--> global settings and opt for 'Power Management Mode' 'Prefer Maximum Performance' (the 'Adaptive' default setting value seemed to be the culprit). And that's all! The key here is change the setting of "Global", as my individual programs were already set to 'Prefer Maximum Performance'. I have worked very well for 3 days now, and I can cause the error to happen again by changing to "Adaptive".

I do that and then turned backon OpenGL and set it to 'normal' and so far I've not dropped yet. For all of you who read this, I'll update if I have everything longer blocks, so if there is no more info about me which means this fix has remained strong.
