  I have correctly configured my gmail account as an email on my BB account. I had two icons of mail on my homepage - one for business and one for gmail. The emails have been separated. After I installed the improved application of Gmail, my gmail starts to synchronize in my corporate ACCT. I uninstalled the improved app botgh and gmail account. When I went to reinstall gmail since the BB device, he took the synchronization on the behalf of the company.

  The Messages folder is not your corporate email. It's a fodler for all messages to appear.

  in the folder following Messages will be displayed:

  -E-mail BIS s account (up to 10 of them)

  -SMS

  -MMS

  -BB PIM messages

  -BES email accounts.

  Remember that and you'll be good!

  PS: some options for SMS and MMS, etc. to be stored in separate folders, but it's the exception, not the rule.

  There are other ways to "separate" BES Corporate e-mail accounts, but these must be done on the BES server...

• Lack of New Mail Icon Windows 8 Outlook 2003

  Hello, I use Outlook 2003 with Windows 8, and I can't seem to get the "New mail" icon appears on the taskbar.  I made sure 'show the envelope' is selected in the advanced e-mail settings in Outlook.  I also made sure to specify "Display Notifications and Alerts" to the Outlook to-do bar settings.  I have set up Outlook to work with my email "outlook.com" using Outlook Connector.  The Outlook icon appears correctly in the taskbar every time that Outlook is running on my computer, but the "new mail" icon does not show it when I get the mail.  I have not watched by using VBA to make it happen, but so far, I was unable to understand the appropriate code.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

  Outlook 2003 is not compatible with Windows 8.0/8.1, although some received his execution, but most have problems and features that do not work. Hope this helps and if you need help please post and we will be happy to help you.

• Smartphones blackBerry seriously, what gives with my e-mail/e-mail icons? Help, please!

  Since the failure, I had serious problems with access to my e-mail/e-mail icons! I posted about this before. I deleted the service t recorded books the HRTS and sent service books and I have done hard it recharges with the device more then I care to count! Wednesday icons worked for 4 hours and return to the same question and went back through everything. I did a reset and still nothing! Does anyone else have this problem? I don't have access to another phone to call assistance and I am at the end of my rope here. Please, I beg you! Please, I beg you! Please, I beg you! Help someone? Someone? N °

  Unfortunately, the solution I had was to completely clean my machine and start from scratch. Of course, I write ALL my contacts, which sucked BUT on the good side of things, I have at least a paper copy of all my contacts! Everything works now, even my MMS, which has been out of service for a few months now. Thanks for the help anyway. To answer your question, Yes, I have a data plan unlimited! Now, if I could just understand as to why my computer or ANY computer does not detect my device, I can actually use the desktop software manager! As much as the re-registration, I have done this several times over and restarted SEVERAL times above, so the only solution in my case was simply start from scratch. Amazing that my aircraft is flying now!

  I have a strange behavior suddenly with one of the e-mail on my Blackberry "BOLD" accounts.  The account is a gmail account and never had any problems until today.  I noticed this morning that e-mail has not been pushed, despite the fact that new messages were in this mailbox.  I removed and re-added the account, as well as return service directories.  Now, mail seems to take place at the account again, but the new mail indicator (red asterisk) does not work for the account, even if I get a new mail on the main 'Messages' envelope icon indicator when the mail comes in this account.  Any ideas?  Thank you!

• BlackBerry smartphones, what's wrong with my Blackberry Bold 9930

  First the screen of my Blackberry would freeze upwards and it wouldn't let me do anything for a few minutes, so I had to take my battery out and then after that I took out my battery and put back in place he would have himself cut and wouldn't load, it would load at halfway then stop and try again. I use to have to take out the battery for a few days before its in so that he can turn it on but one day it does at all so I thought it was the battery but I just bought a new battery and its charging again to half way and stop and then try to load again, but it won't turn. Does anyone know what the problem with it... I have to wait a few days before you put the new battery in once again and then it will work or is the phone itself and I just need to get a new one?  Help, please.

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. I realize that you have purchased a new battery, but please understand that 'new' and 'well known' are not necessarily the same thing... While it's rare, that a new battery cannot be subject to default. The best thing to do is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... to Exchange batteries and see what happens.

  In addition, the next thing is to try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, thinking... what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  Otherwise, your next steps become much more radical.

  During the last day when I pass or receive a phone call and my phone is NOT on the speaker, an icon appears in the upper right of the screen next to the volume level. This icon is a box with a diagonal line from the top of left right at the botto. below the line is blue and above, it is black. This icon disappears when my phone is on speaker. Anyone know what it is?

  I just put my calls forward and symbol appears on my home screen, as well.

  Press your green dial key to enter the call log > Menu > Options > Call Forwarding and do not forward and this symbol will disappear.

  But plesae not that change your call forwarding may affect your voicemail settings, so do it with caution.

• Problem with new Storm2 9550 blackBerry Smartphones

  I have a 9550 (Verizon and unlocked) and use it with a SIM card for Smart Comm. (GSM only) in the Philippines.

  My problem is: I the data connection (BIS) in some places and none among some. These places are accurate and reproducible.

  Example:

  (1) in locations A, B, C, D, I have BIS (logo EDGE/GPRS). The entry "BOLD" 1 in HRT has An APN: blackberry.net. Even with a battery pull, everything works fine. When I join the network, I get the message on the recording. Service books are complete. No problem.

  (2) However, in places E, F, G, H, I have no BIS (logo edge/gprs). "BOLD" 1st entry in HRT show APN: emgsm.vzw3g.com. I can only connect to BIS via wifi. Join the network said the message was sent, but I do not receive a return message. Battery grips makes no difference. I send the documentation of service via the web to get the browser.

  If above the number of point 2 exists and I go to places to point number 1, I can get BIS (EDGE/GPRS logo) and the AFN in the 1st entry of HRT becomes blackberry.net. This happens without no battery pulls. Everything's fine work. To the network and I get a message back.

  If above point number 1 exists and I go to places to the number of article 2, are all right except when I do a battery pull. If I pull the battery, the first entry "BOLD" of HRT goes back to emgsm.vzw3g.com and I get edge/gprs and can connect to BIS via the wifi only. To the network says message sent but I don't fit any message.

  I've wiped and re-installed the OS several times, changed SIM card (same network and number) and the problem persists.

  I went to another service provider and it now works fine! Just for the info of those in the Philippines. My previous BIS is Smart communications. I am now with Globe Telecom!

  OK, my wife just got a new little used 8300. We have put the sim card and everything worked fine. with the exception of the email. We did call today and tell att we wanted as a BB data plan. When I go to the Setup Wizard, he asks me if I want to put up with BES or skip the step... I came here and tried to put in place and he said that I need to sign up for the phone.
