  • How to upgrade the shipping date of calendar on order?

    Hi gurus,

I want to update the shipping date of calendar on order lines with the information I get from our truck company, this must be done before we get in fact file of confirmation of the ship and ship use confirm API. Is there an API specifically or any fucntionatility I can use to update just the expected delivery date until we ship actually to confirm the order. Appreciate your help.

    Thank you-
    REDA

    OK - I understand now.
What is the shipping company send you a flat file with No order and expected delivery date?

The API call is generally the best way to treat it. It is perhaps not all that complex to use. Load the flat file into an intermediate table. Plan a customized program that will read the data; validate and call the sales order api.

The Deputy is an update direct does not support the oe_order_lines_all. Given that you use any other features in Oracle as the MRP reserves or forecasts of consumption etc, such direct update may be safe, but it comes with the usual disclaimers.

Why do you want to avoid the api?

    Hope this helps,

  • Purchase Vista upgrade

    Equium A100-147: upgrade from Vista

    Hello

I recently received an email from Toshiba regarding the purchase of the upgrade to Vista. Followed the link and instructions, selected the "Toshiba Corp." option, when asked for the "serialized form", I chose "no"... don't know what it is.

I go further and that there will be charges to redemption for the upgrade to Vista.

    Vista upgrade charge - £13.35
    Shipping and handling - £2.71
    Plus the VAT on top...

As far as I know and also mentioned on the page Web of Toshiba, the upgrade is free and only need to pay the shipping and handling fees.

Someone has already tried this and get the same fees... or without?

Happy New Year, by the way.

    See you soon

I agree with the snipe. If there is no problem with the update to Vista, you must call the Toshiba call centre.

PS: I tried the moduslink and everything was ok.

  • Can I use Vista Upgrade product key on the SAME machine?

I upgraded my Vista Home Premium to XP media Center computer, and now my computer runs very slowly.  I have 1 GB of RAM, but isn't enough for Aero?  So... what I really do is to perform a new installation to refresh my computer, but I can do after already using my key product upgrade once? (Now I have an external HARD drive to back up my data... I didn't when I upgraded).  The new facility will be used with the same upgrade DVD and product key, and it will be used on the SAME machine.  This is allowed, or vista become inactive and I lose Vista completely?

Yes you can reinstall Windows Vista by using the Windows Vista Upgrade activation disk works perfectly. Make sure you have your 25-digit product key.

Also, make sure that you have installed once are not dual boot.

My advice is that you bring a new installation with Service Pack 1 disc as shown here:

Follow the instructions for installation, as in this case:
Please note that the guide is basis of Dell, F12 can be a different key on your machine and you need to get your site system drivers from your computer manufacturer Web but most of the others in the guide apply to all windows based computers.
  • Vista upgrade license - lost a tale of woe

I have such a history of sobbing, but all this is TRUE...

In January 2008, I bought an upgrade Windows Vista Edition full for my Windows XP Media Center Edition (MCE) PC. I did it through Windows Marketplace and the so-called "Digital Locker". I had already run Vista upgrade Adviser and found that my computer was quite ready for the new OS. I downloaded the whole package on my HDD immediately that night. In addition, I bought an extension so that the software would be 'safe' to download even more time.

I soon realized, however, that he was going to take a lot of work to perform the upgrade, including among other things, the old backup data, backup email and custom directories forms hidden from Outlook, etc. So I turned off for awhile...

Then my wife and I made the decision that I needed to leave the family, move out of the country for several months and try to take off a business project. This meant that I had a LOT to do before I leave and made me to further delay my upgrade. You get the picture...

All this leads to what is obvious - never, I installed upgrading, even if I paid a lot of money for this. And the installation files sitting on my computer (not used) at home for the duration, about 13 months.

Then, Microsoft had some kind of unusual idea. They decided to close Windows Marketplace and build a new store from Microsoft. But where it's really me and my purchase?

They said they sent a few emails warning that would close the Digital Locker service, but due to my absence, the birth of a little boy and other circumstances, I was NOT checking the old e-mail address they had on file for me. At the time when I wanted (and time) to install the OS for now, I discovered that the site had been completely closed. I've taken around to see what I could do about it, but still had so many things I did not as the highest priority, feeling frustrated and overwhelmed by the work it would take to try to get new (time IS money).

Now, I have a new network of SBS 2008, and I find that my XP MCE machine I brought from home (and acted for the last months as the peer-to-peer server) cannot join the domain. In fact, I discovered that it CAN, it just made during installation, OR you can use a so-called Hero Hack to get the registry suggests that it is possible.

But I really don't want to join the SBS my old MCE machine; I want expensive want what I paid for my Vista Ultimate (who wouldn't?)!

I've now spent hours and hours (8 and counting) Microsoft - on the phone, by e-mail. different departments - and have developed exactly zero. A manager at the Microsoft Store said hotline, after researching the issue, they have determined that there is no record kept of the old Windows Marketplace 'experience' and therefore no way to look to the top of my purchase. Myself, I can hardly believe that some recipes and information they generated through this site Web was everything simply "lost" or discarded.

Here's what I would like to everyone on this forum interested in helping some poor soul:

    1. I'll post my e-mail address below. Please no spamming, but if you have a product key Vista Ultimate old that you no longer use and would like to donate, feel free to send it to me. I would be sincerely grateful humbly.
    2. If any of you have contact with Microsoft Corporation, please do not hesitate to tell them about my fate and run to the top of the stem. I am confident that someone was able to know what happened to me, they might like to see a happy customer and help me resolve this issue. Note that I am a MCSE (but only on NT4) and spent my life buy legal copiesunder license from everything I have ever installed (including all products of Microsoft, of course). I used to work for WordPerfect Corp., hold myself, my family and my business at a high level. Of course, that contain versions of test, but still...

I am so disappointed with Windows Marketplace and Digital Locker service. I have paid for the extension of additional downloads. And the thing is, their approach was to never send anything with the details of the purchase, including the product key!

The following is an exact quote from the email they sent me (I still have the original I found in my Outlook files):

"You have successfully created an account for the service digital locker at Windows Marketplace." Now you can use the digital locker to download and install the software, recover the licenses,... .and look after your purchase information. »

"The assistant service digital locker keeps all the license information on your PC to facilitate access. You have more to search your computer or e-mail messages to retrieve this information in one convenient place. [translation] Digital locker service also records billing information for quick and easy extraction on your next purchase. »

I received this email on 14 January 2008, at 23:13. A minute later at 23:14, I received the following email:

"Thank you for using the service digital locker at Windows Marketplace."

"This email confirms that you have purchased successfully:

    "Microsoft® Windows Vista Ultimate UPGRADE".
    Quantity: 1
    Dealer: Microsoft

"You can now access your license or licenses that have been delivered to your service digital locker."

And that's all. No price is mentioned; No product key leaked; It was all through the Digital Locker service.

So there you have it. If you want or can help me, I would be ever so much obliged. Hereby, I PROMISE you that I won't ever crazy enough to wait two years before trying to install something that I bought online, even if it was a task as big as the installation of an operating system! I will gladly accept any form of punishment imposed, with the only exception being to lose the Vista Ultimate license and the hard-earned served to pay for this product (we are a bit poor, butstill I never pirate software). Don't forget, the installation files have been sitting on my hard drive since that night of January.

    Sincerely,

I don't know what I'll do because there are not too all the compatible drivers for my digital camera...
Of this, I just want my SD card reader is probably running on vista!
Can someone help me please? It would be great!

    Nice greetings

    Hello

I guess you need a driver for Vista compatible cardbus.
I noticed that Toshiba provides the Vista driver not for all Toshiba laptops.
Right now the Vista drivers are provided only for several series of laptops.

I got this Toshiba document on the support home page, and it seems that satellite M30X is not listed in the Microsoft Windows Vista support driver index ;(

  • Need info on the Vista upgrade

Fact Toshiba suppy an upgrade from Vista or can I just use one of the stores?
I need no special drivers or the new installation will resume the drivers already on the system?

    Hello

As much as I know Toshiba has nothing to with Vista upgrade option.
When you open the options of the system (Control Panel), you will find basic information about your computer and there are placed link Windows Vista upgrade.

Either you can use this option or get Microsoft DVD facilities and install the Vista-specific option. All available drivers, tools and utilities Vista can be used on every version of Vista.

  • Why the hard disk is divided into partitions of two data (C:Vista and E: Data)?

I just started a new A200-1V0 and found that disk space is divided into two partitions of sizes equal 'C:Vista' and ' E: Data "(and a small one EISA).

WHY? What is the logic and purpose? It's not even as if the C:Vista partition is smaller and intended only to the tricks of the 'system' as the root 'Users' (user Documents) is on it also.

This is the default for Vista (my first use of it), if not, who said that Toshiba could do this without asking me?

How can I move the root 'Users' in Vista (in the data partition) - if I have two partitions that I might as well use it?

I can resize partitions in Vista without a utility 3 rd-party (or a complete backup/restore)?

    Thank you

    Hello just YOU

Please don't be offended because there is no reason for this. You bought the new product with the factory settings. Toshiba and other hardware manufacturer do not know every customer personally and, unfortunately, it was not possible to ask YOU how to set up YOUR laptop.

Because of this, there is a recovery of product support that allows to configure the HARD disk according to your wishes and needs.

Please use this DVD and install OS how you want it to be. What recovery procedure starts, you will see CONFIGURATION option on the right side. Click on it and choose the right option.

Reinstall the OS and enjoy your life. Really, I don't have the time to write on the floors of two partitions, because this is basic stuff and you probably don't want to waste your time to read this.

    Bye and good luck!

  • Satellite A100 PSAA8: How to order the Toshiba XP-> Vista upgrade CD

    Hello

    I just bought a Satellite A100 (psaa8)
I found that a document indicates that I can move on to Vista and a link but it does not work.

So can you please help me with this, I got bored of XP.

I read that some members ordered a free vista CD.
Can you tell me how to order and it is good or bad?

    Hello

Remember that this offer is limited by the date! I think you're too late dude!
But why you're bored? The XP is the OS really friendly and fully compatible with all 3rd party devices!
Vista needs a lot more use as XP and runs slower than XP. If you want to play games on your laptop, I would recommend staying with XP! All games run faster under OS XP!

You know the Vista Customization Pack? This allows you to use XP but it looks like a Vista.
You know, the whole images, icons, etc. will transform the look of Vista.

It s nice and for people who wants to change the old XP style new style Vista ;)

  • Reinstall Vista without losing data.

Trying to fix a friends laptop that has the following error: -.

    File windows\system32\configzsystem status: 0xc000000f

Windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing or damaged. Can not do a Vista repair it still comes with the above error. I managed to get into the back through recovery cd and copied data via xcopy on external hard drive, so the user data are safe. Via back managed to discover that under system32 config directory is missing and so evrything under him. As I can't get into windows then try a patch upgrade is possible to install Vista without losing data or I have to do a clean install and then copy the data from the user throughout. CD I have is Dell reintallation Vista 32 bit SP1.

Can you remove the hard drive from the laptop, if so, connect it to a desktop computer to extract the files.

Note: Depending on the age of the laptop, you need a drive adapter.

  • Vista upgrade - > Windows 7. Cannot uninstall Intel Proset wireless WiFi Software

Computer: Computer laptop Toshiba Satellite A305

I got the upgrade disc for Windows Vista, upgrade to Windows 7. During installation, the message appears that Windows 7 can not finish the episode, and I need to uninstall the Intel Proset Wireless WiFi software.

I use the utility for uninstalling programs of the control panel. When I select "Intel Proset wireless WiFi Software", there is no option to uninstall the program. I tried to use the repair feature, but the Windows 7 upgrade hangs at this point, insisting on the fact that I have to uninstall the Intel Proset Wireless WiFi software. I'm so stuck. Thank you for your suggestions. It's late here now. I'll check back tomorrow.

Update: problem solved by a local computer expert. He connected to Intel and later that the visit was able to uninstall the Intel Proset Wireless software. Then the upgrade Windows 7 complete installation and is very good. The new wireless software program included in Windows 7. That's why Windows 7 wanted the Intel program deleted.

  • Can I disable W7 (Vista Upgrade) in my dead computer, then sell W7 upgrade?

Now this computer no longer works (I do not have the removed disk and it's correct)... can I somehow disable

the W7 upgrade can sell the 2 discs (32 & 64) and give the new owner of the original product key?

    Thank you

There is no process of disabling for Vista or Win7, if it's a upgraded version of detail that you can sell it with the key, any end users need to activate by phone if online activation fails
