New PC, white background yellow opening?

Hi all

I just built a new PC and reinstalled my Adobe CS4 Master Collection.  When I first opened Photoshop, white default background has a yellow color.  Finally, I worked on what he had to do with colours and selected profiles associated to my screen (Samsung Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM) profile.  This turned yellow to white and everything was good.  Now I am trying to edit a few photos of the products sent by a provider, and if images look fine in the thumbnail of the windows when I load it in PS, the white background of the image is yellow.  Look, if I saw the original files in Windows, I see a yellow background.  The yellow background remains also if I save the file and then display on the yellow sticker.

I got lost.  Can someone help or show me a guide or a manual please?

White appears yellow in Photoshop is a sign that your monitor by default OS profile is turned off

Windows default monitor profile is defined in Control Panel > color management > Devices tab > check use my settings for this device > define your custom '(default)' monitor profile as seen in the screenshot:

but I hope you don't mean you selected your monitor profile in Edit > color settings > desktops > RGB: monitor profile - which should be sRGB (in a first time like this, with these colors in place management policies):

which will help to ensure that you are using the correct Source profile on your documents and notify you of missing profiles and profile mismatches

IN OTHER WORDS

you need to "calibrate" a good monitor profile

get the default value in Windows

and configure the Photoshop color settings to use the correct profiles (or warn you of problems that could cause some problems you describe)...

Well, it was unblugged several days (Don't now, how long it should) and a full reset again, just to make sure (don't know if that makes a difference), but now it works normally. White is now white and not yellow. Thank you.

It's probably somewhat similar to these problems of crazy object.

Sometimes copy/paste works because it takes your code on a VI that could have a corruption and put in a cool VI.  In your case, the corruption could be linked to the control itself and he just copied over in the new VI.  Money controls are a relatively recent creation which added some fancy appearances.  They don't seem to be the style that is most likely to have some behind the bugs of scenes from the styles of controls that were longer.

If you have a shared services provider, or if a person nor jump here and wants to study, they want to can see your VI and understand what goes wrong.  If this isn't the case, I hope that what you've done has solved the problem and you can spend without return.

  • New blue background file opening laps or file.

    Hello

I work in Photoshop cs6 on a PC, Windows 7.  I was working on my Wacom tablet and accidentally dropped my pen on the tablet.  When I looked up, my background was blue.  I don't know what happened, but I can't understand how to go back to white.  He must have changed something, just don't know what.  This happens if I open a 'new page' or if I open an output file.  I checked the preferences, everything seems ok there.

Photoshop opens normally as shown below.  Second picture shows what it looks like when to open a new window or an existing file.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

There is a preference to change the color of the screen.  I'm not at that time a computer with PS, but you may want to try to do a right click with the tool move and see is there is a menu option to change the color.  Or check the main preferences ctrl/cmd-k.

  • How can I reset the page that appears when I open a new tab "white"?

MySearchDial reset my settings in several browsers. I deleted the program, I set my home page and removed the site from the list of engines of research possible, but when I opened a new tab "in white", it always opens with MySearchDial features. I tried the SearchReset extension, it did not work. I tried the subject: config newtab url, that does not work either.

    How to reset it?

Could you take a second look at everything: config?

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) If you check the browser.newtab.url preference, what is he on? These are the typical things:

    • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
    • Blank tab = > subject: empty
    • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
    • Any other page = > full URL of the page

If it is already set correctly, but still, you get a white page MySearchDial, one of your other extensions may be the problem.

You can consult, disable and/or remove extensions on page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off...

If it indicates that it is locked or refuses to save the changes, Check Control Panel, uninstall a program for a program called research protect and remove that. Locked preference may also indicate the presence of a mozilla.cfg file. If you think that, please post back for more information, by simply removing this file can cause problems.

    Correct immediately!

Works for me on the site.

What gets selected if you right click on that white space and open the Inspector?

Reload Web pages, and ignore the cache.

    • Hold SHIFT and click reload.

  • Hello :) I'm new to illustrator, I am trying to create a picture of coverage of facebook, when I save it in JPEG OR PNG format, it is show a white background behind my project, how can I remove it?

Hello I'm new to illustrator, I'm trying to create a picture of coverage of facebook, when I save it in JPEG OR PNG format, it is show a white background behind my project, how can I remove it? Thank you Erin

    Erin,

With PNG (preferably PNG24), you can check transparency and get rid of the background.

The clear format of artwork no photo would be PNG24. It is important to create the exact size that it should be used, or it will be blurred. You can create it at this size, using points/pixel as the unit and save for Web. You can check the size of the window the size of the Image where you can also check Art Optimized.

I fear, however, you may be out of luck: maybe the format will be changed to JPEG, and size will also change by Facebook software.

  • Open a PDF file with white background

How can I get a PDF file to open it in PS CS3 with a white background?

Once open, you can add a white background layer or you can flatten.

PDF files can contain transparency, so a white background can be a change that cannot be done that after the file is open.

  • Cropping of the Photo on white background

I take several pictures of the product. I would like to have the same pure white uniform background for ALL the photos. How to create a pure white background that I am able to cut my product and stick on a white model?

    S salvation.

Well, sketch by default, a kind background white so what I do when I want a specific color is to bring a nuance as a layer in the Image:

    1. I usually do a Google search for the color I want and put the sample in the creative Cloud Files folder on my desktop. (If you are working on your device you can also save the color chart for your Photos).

    2. When you open a new work of sketch plan, you will see a layer draw in front of Toolbox.

    3. tap on the + just above him to open a dropdown menu with the choice of the drawing layer and Image layer.

    4. tap on the Image layer

    5. next, choose where you want to import the image (if it is in your photos choose on my iPad; if it has in your CC folder choose CC my files.)

    6. press on hold - drag this layer to bring it to the bottom of your layer stack.

Once the sketch has a fill tool (we are working on that). It will be easier to change the background color. In fact, we also work to make it easier to change the background color of too.

Let me know if you have trouble.

    Sue.

  • I have a logo on a white background.  I need the bottom either transparent.  Not for the life of me I remember how to do this.  Could someone help me with this, please?  Thank you

I have a logo on a white background.  I need the bottom either transparent.  Not for the life of me I remember how to do this.  Could someone help me with this, please?

Elimination of the background is transparent can be done with precision using the mixture control if the Style layer.

    1. open the file and if the layer is locked, trash the lock.

2 Cmd + click on the new icon layer in the layers panel to apply a layer of vacuum below the object.

    3. return to the upper layer and double-click it in the layers panel to bring up the layer Style.

4 in section mixture if at the bottom of layer Style, move the high gray-scale slider to the right page to the left until it disappears from the background of the illustration. For extra precision, to the point where the White is about to disappear, you can click Option on the half left of the cursor to divide and move it gently to the left when you look white in the picture disappear.

    5. layer > merge down and then file > save

  • Recover lost white background on the model file

I was at work today and opened a Ps document that someone else had created. I don't know what I did (I am a relatively new user of Ps) and I don't know even how I ended up saving it. The document is superimposed on a map of site with logos, text of floor plans. etc. (so, it's too complicated for my limited time and knowledge to be able to re-import the source of the document and re - format the whole thing). When I opened first the document, all floor plans looked normal, but now there is a white background. The black outlines of the rooms are still there, but there is nothing underneath (I see the background gray and white checkerboard between the black outlines). I need to know how to make this white area again. It seems to me that perhaps I've removed a layer... maybe... I do not know...? I can not just use the fill tool to fill in the blanks in the bottom space because (a) the entire shape is not closed, so apply a fill to a single area fills the entire document and (b) I know that's not the right way to do... I'm trying to get it back to the way it is supposed to be, not only to make it look right because others in the work could still use the electronic file. Help, please!

Thanks for your response! Someone else has replied (I posted the question twice) and told to make a new layer filled with white. I did and then my new layer behind the site rendering, and that did the trick!

  • How can I change a signature black (on white background) with another color?

I have a handwritten signature black on white background scanned in and stored in jpg format.

I need to select the black lines and change the color to something else, but I can't understand how to choose black and change the color to yellow (for example). I'm relatively new to Photoshop and am not familiar with masks, etc.

The Replace Color tool does not work for some reason any. If I select the area using the magic wand, it selects I want to change (the black line signature), but I don't know how to replace the color then.

    Help! (I'm using CS5)

Here's the process from start to finish:

Make sure that you are working on a copy of the original image of signature...

    1) bring to the image of your signature.

    (2) create a new layer and fill it with the color you want to replace black with.

    (3) set the layer to screenmode.

    (4) to flatten the image by going to layer > Flatten Image.

    (5) duplicate the layer to control-click on the layer in the layers panel. Make the invisible the original layer by clicking the eyeball next to her.

    (6) use the magic wand to select the white area of your image and delete it. Make sure that contiguous are unchecked upward at the top of your screen so that you select the areas of white contained in the loop in the signature.

    (7) remove the layer that you have hidden by dragging to the trash in the layers panel.

Now you can just drag the layer remaining in your other document, or record it is as a .png to be placed in a new document. I hope this helps!

He is generally meant to be a white background and the image that appears at the top left. I don't remember what I did to change this if it's my fault; If anyone knows how to get back to it, I would be grateful.

This is the new behavior in Firefox 11.
