New Portege Z10T can't see Sierra / 4G card after 8.1 Upgrade Win

Hi all

I bought a brand new Toshiba Z10T Core i5 00 M 001 model of Telstra last night. When I got there, he had a connection "Telstra" related to the internal 4 GB card. This has been tested and work on standard 8 Windows Installer as expected from the GET.

I proceeded to run Windows update on the stock Win8 installed, who installed about 900 MB, updates. As a result, I have installed the recommended Windows 8.1 update. Once it was over, the laptop has rebooted a few times, and as one of the last steps he wanted to connect to the internet to complete its configuration (I presume download my profile of Microsoft) at this POINT, I had available to me 'Telstra' connection and I used this link to download the profile (she even smsed me a confirmation code).

As a result, however, the 'Telstra' connection disappeared, and the Sierra Wireless card is now not found on the device. I tried to connect to a wireless network and running Windows Update (I'm updating) and your Web site is not a specific driver available for the wireless on Windows 8.1

Can you please suggest how can I do to get the 4g on the unit connection working again. It's one of the reasons why I invested in this pivot Tablet and I do not want to go back to Windows 8.

    We would be happy to help you with the problem you are facing today. I understand the difficulty that is the problem, and I suggest you follow the methods below:

     

    Method 1: Run the troubleshooter of material and check.

    Follow the steps to run the Troubleshooter:

    a. type Troubleshooting in the search bar and click on it.
    b. click hardware and sound.
    c. click on Windows Media Player DVD and follow the instructions.

    Method 2: Uninstall, reinstall the drivers CD/DVD.

    a. press the Windows key + X , and then click Device Manager

    b. expand CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, right click on CD and DVD devices and then click Uninstall.
    c. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.
    d. restart the computer.
    e. After you restart the computer, the drivers will be installed automatically.

    Method 3: Download/install the driver CD-ROM/DVD-ROM from the computer manufacturer's support Web site.

    Visit the computer manufacturer's support Web site and install the latest driver CD-ROM/DVD-ROM and check.

    I just installed a new internal 40 GB hard drive in my portege r100, I partitioned the drive and formatted. I also installed the latest version of the bios (I think it is 1.6) but I can not now install XP to dvd because the portege r100 do not see the dvd drive external usb which I think is a LITE-ON 8 x

    We use the host ESXi 3.5 on DELL PE 2850 with RAID 5 local storage.  Today, I ran utility update for the host VMware and firmware updated BIOS and RAID on the host computer before a restart of the system.  After the reboot, the system correctly loads the operating system and when I check for storage, the data (with critical VM) store is missing.  Can not see that again.

    Please help me to recover my data with the virtual machines in her store.

    ESXi is installed on the same Partition RAID 5, which is located in the VMFS data store? for example. do you know that the partition is still intact?

    According to what the RAID firmware upgrade has done, it is possible that you may need to set the LVM. EnableResignature option 1 if the score ended with a new UUID.

    After reboot I can only see the original user on my Mac + comments, but not the one I added.

    The original is my wife so if it connects inn, first of all, I'm able to move my user by logging out (users obtained all visible) or by selecting my self in the menu to the left of the projector users.

    Upgrade to 10.11.4 to see if there was a problem with 10.11.3 who was present when the account is added.

    If you cannot connect to the original account on your MacBook Pro, looks that FileVault has been activated. It encrypts the bootable floppy and requires that the original to "unlock" before user other users can subscribe in their user accounts. I can see how that might be irritating in the circumstances, and I have a few suggestions to check the situation and helps connect you to your account a little more quickly.

    To see if FileVault is turned on, connect to the user account of your wife and choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click on Privacy & Security, and then click FileVault. You can find more information about FileVault in Use FileVault to encrypt on your Mac startup disk.

    If FileVault is turned on, you have two possibilities to be able to connect to your user account to start.

    The problem is the operating system of your laptop is 32-bit.

    A 32-bit operating system can use @ 3.25 GB installed memory.

    Install additional 4 GB to a laptop that had 2 GB was a regrettable mistake.

    As long as the 4 GB memory module you have is compatible, you'd better remove the 2 GB module and put the 4 GB module in its place.

    You won't find a lot of improvement with the current configuration of a 2 GB module and a 4 GB module. With this memory configuration does not work in dual channel mode.  You would be better with two modules of 4 GB, but this is only if you upgrade your operating system to a 64-bit version.

    In fact, you would have improved if your OS is 64-bit. A 64-bit Windows operating system will recognize and use the installed memory.

    If you really want to improve the performance of the laptop, you should consider upgrading to a SATA SSD 256 GB drive at least.

    I had installed Windows 7 on my computer and I had two operating systems of windows operating system. And I wanted to boom volume but I couldn't and I downloaded a program and crashed my both operating systems. And after that I used the hp recovery cd use cmd, System Restore. And after that, I got all the workers. But now I can't see my data partition. I can see the computer Manager, but I can't access it.  Please help Microsoft. :(

    Is the partition on the same drive as Vista?  If so I would try to extend the Vista partition to include the space in this partition "missing."  Maybe this process will add space on your system drive, and at least you will have access to it (even if it is not a separate partition that you wish).  I don't know if this will work if the system is not seen as a partition, but I guess it's worth a try.

    After that, my only suggestion is to backup your data and do a clean boot from the drive and format the drive and reset the partitions in the installation process.  This should solve this problem.  I wish I had a less drastic recommendation, but honestly, I know of no other way to solve this problem (if it does not solve the problem).

    Well, there is little hope for you, since you have an Intel wireless card.

    I have a HP nc6400 with the same card as yours and it worked very well on W10, and then he leaves suddenly.

    Wireless Mode value = 6. 802.11a/b/g

    I have a Toshiba Portege laptop computer z10t / Tablet for Christmas.

    I have not used as much as I had not expected this and have had work on my old laptop not quite ready to move.

    I realized over the 3 days I want to charge the Tablet completely, put on, said fully charged battery, I unplug the unit and he tells me, 85% charged. 2 minutes later, it says 3%.

    That being said, I work now 100 min after disconnection and it still says 3% remaining. (???)

    It looks like a battery problem.
    I m not 100% sure, but I think that replacing the battery would solve the problem of load.

    You wrote that the old unit isn t, and therefore, the warranty is still valid.
    You should get in contact with ASP local of Toshiba. The authorized service provider would replace the battery for free.
