  I think that it s a matter of adjustment.

  I read in some articles that Wake up on LAN option must also be able to if the laptop is not enabled.
  Please disable the Wakup on LAN and other options in the BIOS.

  My company bought laptop computers Tecra R940 and replace the HDD with Kingston SSDNow v + 200 V + 120 GB SSD drives. On a test after installing the SSD device, the laptop was rebuilt with our brand image (Windows 7 x 64) that has successfully completed.

  Update post however a number of issues is apparent:

  1 occasionally during a restart, the laptop will display and then hang at 'starting windows' screen for the Windows logo animation appear and with the light of the hard drive continuously. After a period of time that a Windows recovery is attempted and, possibly, a reported error:

  Status: 0xc00000e9
  Info: An unexpected i/o error has occurred

  This problem will not occur at every startup, but once every 2 or 3.

  2. the following error message is logged in the Windows system log

  I have tried the following to resolve the problem:

  1. update the R940 BIOS to the latest available (6.40).
  2. has confirmed that the BIOS SATA Controller is set to AHCI.
  3. not confirmed there are no available SSD drive firmware update.
  4. install the latest Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver of Toshiba (11.0.0.1032).
  5 tried different SSD. Same errors identified, so not a faulty SSD.
  6 tried the SSD in a Toshiba Portege R930. In this case the mistakes above are not apparent.
  7 reinstall the original HARD disk. In this case the mistakes above are not apparent.
  8A confirmed a 2nd unit (with installed SSD) logs the same event ID 11.

  My tests left me at a point where I think that there is something bad at the end of R940 with a hardware or software that does not like the SSD.

  I also use FIrefox 12.0 on an older windows 2000 machine and that works perfectly - I can download any MP3 file, I want to, and downloads of firefox 12.0 (on win2k, sp4) to my location (on my HD), and it gives me the download window so I can watch its progress and have some control over break and resume , and, when it's done, the download window offers me the option 'open containing folder' so I can make sure that where I wanted. In other words, Firefox 12.0 on WIn2k, sp4 works better than firefox on winxp sp2 25.0! What gives? I went through and set up my options for XP just like I did with Win2k and everything looks good, but firefox 25.0 don't know just my chosen and always default place to give me fortune player and I am not able to actually copy the mp3 files on my hard drive - it's firerox almost unusable 25.0 since downloading mp3 files is a big part of my use firexfox - please help. • Cannot create a new startup with my data disc

  Hi guys, here's the problem: when I try to create a new startup with my data disc, I can't boot from this drive.

  The startup progress bar takes forever and then I see a white circle with a line through it. ("Prohibited" / "Ghostbusters" sign.)

  I can't boot into single user mode. Quite simply, there is the same thing as verbose mode. Even in safe mode. So I have few options for debugging. I did a SMC reset, no change. Is there anything else I should try?

  -I'm trying to start off a new SSD that I bought, currently in a USB 3.0 enclosure external. I know that all is well with the speaker because I started off of him several times in the past. I know that all is well with the reader, because I tried to do the same process with another drive and it doesn't work the same way.

  -J' cloned my current boot drive to the new drive with SuperDuper!, Carbon Copy Cloner and I also did a clean install of El Capitan using recovery mode. The new facility has worked well until I migrated my old data.

  - So there must be something in my data which are striated throughout this process. I don't know what it is maybe or how to track him down.

  Have you tried the PRAM reset? Restart while pressing control + command + P + R until you hear the boot chime at least twice.

  I don't have Win7 on my laptop but I presume that it is similar to Vista, then go to start > all programs > Toshiba > utilities and check if there are shortcuts to restart Flash cards.
