  I use Firefox 24 at present. In the previous version, I could browse 9gag and play the gifs in the homepage. Now, whenever I click on a gif image to play, firefox opens as a new site in the same tab. This does not happen in Chrome. Furthermore, I can't expand the parameters or the other. What is going on? • Why the add-on Manager creates a new tab whenever I go to the home page?

  When I run Firefox my homepage tab appears with a tab of the Add-ons Manager and a plus sign for the new tab. Whenever I go on a website and then back to my homepage comes ANOTHER tab Add-ons Manager. This apparently will last forever. I got 20 tabs Manager modules showing. The only way to eliminate them is to stop Firefox and restart. Then it starts again. What is the cause?

  I use the latest version of Firefox and 8.1 of Windows on a Dell Inspiron with 8 GB of memory and a hard drive of 1 t.

  3. Select "Menu" > "include the Page containing the hyperlink.

  4 save the file and then try to preview.

• new tab (+) does not work after the upgrade to v 23.0.1 forefox

  I had firfox version 22 I guess... Now, today morning I upgraded to v 23. It displays a message from one of the plug-in is not compatible with wud and therefore be disabled. now later I still once downloaded the plug in to check if its works or not but TI worked (as I had already guessed), or its display in modules or plug-ins.

  Now I don't get why the new tab does not work. Not at all. Its so very annoying. I googled the question and tried to reset firefox and the new tab in subject parameter: config. But nothing helped.

  I think that its because of this plug-in I've read somewhere that the parameters can be getting replaced by one of the defective Add-ons.

  Help, please.

  Hi, 41 of Firefox, you must use an add-on like tab override (browser.newtab.url replacement), to make changes to the page tab.

  Once installed, open the Add-ons (Ctrl + Shift + A) Manager > Extensions, and then look for the new tab override and click Options to set your preference.

  Note, if you want only the new tab to be the same as your home page, you can use the Add on new tab homepage instead.

  You will then need to restart Firefox for all changes to take effect.

  When I try to open a new tab, nothing happens. I would like to open a new tab before going to my favorites and opening one, so I can still get e-mail open in a tab and other sites in the other tabs. I can't open the empty tabs now.

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

  Firefox keeps opeing where I left instead to start with my home page. I use the latest firefox with windows8. Dosen't happen with windows7. This has happened with the last update.

  Replacing the pref.js didn't fix the problem, I just do a default reset firefox and that solved the problem.
