  A lot of times depends on what operating system you are using (Windows, OSX etc.) and if you want to keep all your data from your old computer or only parts of adobe.

  The perfect way to do it would be to do what we called a metal backup naked using software such as shadow protect and then install the image it creates on your new system. With this method you keep everything and just change material making sure all your settings are always the same and be able to continue as if you had not changed the whole computer. The only difference you'd see is a strong increase in speed.

  I'm starting a new project that will have a single serial port.  I would use Labview to analyze several singles (which include two measures of temperature, two measures of pressure and a few others like two voltages, input encoder axis, etc...).

  Where should I start?  I understand RS - 232, well enough, but not too familiar with Labview.  How do I separate the entrance to separate multiple entries?

  It is unclear what kind of separator you use between the label and the data, but if this isn't a CR, then the sequential readings should be simple enough. A VISA reading can be set to complete on a character of specific endpoint (i.e. CR) so the Read VISA would be in a constant loop then you would look on the label and if each is unique, a simple case statement could be used to assign the value to a specific indicator/table/shift register / whatever you use to display/store data.

  Don't know what you mean by output of simulation and what hardware/software architecture and software you are using for your project.

  Usually you will use the compactrio hardware and write the FPGA VI and RT VI and also Windows vi if you want a user interface to monitor the status of the flags temporarily or send a few entries in RT VI. If this is the first thing to think about, and there is a lot of work to get a good system for such a request so started to work hard now, I'll propose.

  It is possible to test your written FPGA vi once in simulation mode by running the FPGA vi on computer simulation. This method determines only if there are no errors in the code and I want to save me time taken by FPGA to compile the code. You don't use it to simulate inputs and outputs on your hardware.   I need to install approximately 20 MacBook air 13 "laptops with windows 7 (or possibly 8.1) on each VM.  Each VM will have MS office installed as well.  Is VMWare Fusion Pro the right package for me?  If this is the case, could someone please provide a link for instructions to set up this type of environment and process details such as MS licenses as well?  I am very new to this type of facility and I don't want to make any assumptions wrong.

  Each machine will need their own license by merger.  Each should also have legal licenses separately for Windows and Office (just as the installation directly on a machine).  It has been a long time (maybe Woody can sound in), but I believe you can perform an initial installation, and then configure the virtual machine to enter a license key when you first start the computer on target (sysprep?).

  Make sure you understand WHAT MSFT political licenses for virtual machines.  For example, for Windows 7, OEM licenses cannot be virtualized.  Windows 8, well, is complicated.

  When I begin to start Windows 7, I get this error message that know my GFxUI does not work. And then, it runs a scan and nothing happens. How can I find is a download for this graphics driver, or y at - it someone who can do it for me.

  I tried different ways, but I can't always get a download for this driver. I don't know that it's a necessary driver I am using.
