    Hello Mandeep_rawat,

Your system is not too hot.

The left side must have a little heat, because this is the side of the processor, but never hot.

    Do a hard reset.

    Turn off the computer.

Remove the power cable and battery.

Hold down the power button for 15 sec while booth energy sources are deleted.

This should reset the hardware in the computer.

That you put it on press the F10 key. This will load the BIOS setup utility.

Press F9 to load the default values.

Press F10 to save and exit.

When the computer starts up, check if everything is working.

You may have a problem with the fan.

Here is a link to a number to call HP and see what are the options they have for you.

I would like to know how everything goes.

    Nice day.

  • Full hot air coming from the left side of the g6 Pavilion laptop

I am concerned about the amount of heat coming out of my notebook, which is a HP Pavilion g6-1d11dx (id system ° 169 b).

Are there problems of overheating with this model?

If so, is there a recommended solution?

My RAM gone bad, and I just replaced. I wonder if the failure was caused by excessive heat in the notebook.

    Thank you!

    Hey Paolino66,

The only real way to test the temperature with an accuracy of 100% is in the system BIOS. The problem is that the BIOS barely uses all resources and does not generate a lot of heat so that your not getting a reading on temperatures while the laptop is actually used. Most of the BIOS settings are programmed to stop the laptop if the temperature reached 100 degrees Celsius. This is commonly called the TJMAX. Safe temperatures would be anything below 85 degrees Celsius. If you're just clear navigation, edition you text temperatures should not go more than 30 to 60 degrees, but things like game can cause additional heat emitting GPU and RAM and increase the overall temperature of your laptop.

Temperature monitoring: It is here that third-party applications come into play. Personally, I use CPU - Z and Speccy. Generally, these programs are designed to read the temperatures of the BIOS directly and are fairly accurate. I have never had a false report with any third-party application then I guess that Defraggler would be just as accurate.

Service: Yes, the steps are their own little maze and can be very overwhelming. I directed you to page 73 because it is where you will find links to each page you go to return the material properly. There are many return back and jump around, but the bonus is media format PDF pages link in the document itself, if its easy enough to stay on the right track.

I'm not on the road, we'll see more design changes that make things easier for the maintenance of laptops, but for now it is what it is. The computer keeps track of your temperatures every few seconds and is designed to stop when the temperature reaches the TJMAX to avoid damaging the product. I'm totally agree with you about the changes made to facilitate the service, but unfortunately I don't have that kind of relationship with the product engineers that allows me to make suggestions in this respect. If you wish, you can still use the vibration function of customer on the HP Web site to provide your insight directly to HP where it will be forwarded to the appropriate channels. Here you will find the contact page: connect with HP.

    Hope this helps.

  • Satellite M40-265 gets hot on the left side

I noticed it right after that I bought and went serving Marktkauf, they said it's ok. But now it's for sure NOT ok!
I tried to measure the temperature on the left side where the warm air comes, and she was already above 42 c as the thermometer, shown error.
The keyboard is also hot on the left side. It is uncomfortable for the hands and more I fear for the laptop.
What should I do? How to get the service?
I'm in Germany, Berlin, bought in October 2005.

    Thank you!

    Hello

On the left side of the laptop, you will find the fan grids.
I guess there is the cooling module and placed CPU.
The cooling module produces the heat on the left side.

Usually the laptop supports protection against overheating. This means that the laptop stops automatically if the temperature rises to the high critical level.
If you laptop is not closed automatically so I guess that the temperature is not high.

However, you can try to check the settings in the energy saver and change the cooling method.
But if you think that there is something wrong with the fans or the module of cooling so you can ask the ASP in your country to help him.
Here you will find the right service partner:

  • Tecra A7: left side of the laptop is hot

With the new Tecra A7 for a few weeks. Now, during the summer, it is almost impossible to leave my left hand on the left of the laptop site (44Cel. My thermometer surrenders. The Ventilation exhaust is to close.

    Gerd cordially

    Hello

I saw the Tecra A7 on photos and on the left side you will find the vents and the fan. I guess that the CPU is placed on the motherboard of the left side.
The processor produces a lot of heat and therefore the temperature rises.
The cooling modules generally should work correctly. Please check if there is enough free space around the laptop. It is very important for the cooling of the laptop.

In addition, the books supporting protection against overheating. If the temperature rises to the critical level the notebook will automatically stop.
In your case, the laptop is not closed.
But if you think that the temperature is too high, then you should contact Toshiba service partner in your country. Guys should check the laptop.

A factory restore can't hurt, and it can fix it. First of all, I think I'll try re-installing the AMD graphics driver which usually includes the motherboard drivers.

I had 3 e-mail accounts defined. They came with folders over there on the left side of the screen. I then tried to add a fourth account that the missing 3rd account is if it was withdrawn and the fourth new account shows nothing on the left side. All the most as it does not exist. Or I can click on one of the names of account on the side left then [display for this account setting] and in the left window, I see the 4th account. I have the screen shot speaks on behalf of bob.

How can I get the main screen to display the accounts of al in the left window?

I have xp configured to display system files and folders. My xp is not Thunderbird [help > troubleshooting] option. Each account that local directory has been replaced by C:\Documents and Settings\King\My Documents\Thunderbird_Mail\jail1 - 119.web - hosting.com
This way I can back up the directories of mail for each account. Also for backup purposes, I also copied directory C:\Documents and Settings\King\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\e5hjmse7.default tree in My Documents. To fix the problem I just copied the supported by directory 5hjmse7.default tree which he original path and everything was back to normal. Thunderbird has need bkup option that records these hidden config and directories of email in my documents.
