  Have you checked for sessionstore numbered files in your profile folder to see if there might be a file with a more recent history of tab?

  Recovery methods:

  If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

  To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

  Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

  Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

  First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

  If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

  If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.
   
  If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

  A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

  Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages.   My new Sansa e260 is my first mp3 player, so I'm still on a steep learning curve!  Can someone help me with the following questions please?

  1. the Web of Sandisk site has lots of information about the e200 series, but I don't know if all this refers to my e260, or if it is a newer model that requires an update of the instructions.  Even my User Guide refers to the e200 rather than the e260.  It is safe for me to consider the e200 data as valid for my e260?

  2. my Quick Start Guide says that my e260 must be in MTP mode to be used with Windows Media Player (I use WMP 11).  But the instructions for switching between the MTP and MSC modes do not apply to my device.  For example, there is no "USB mode" option on my menu settings.  My drive seems to be recognized by WMP perectly fine.  Should I worry?

  3. How will I know if I should update the firmware?  It is classified in my unit version 03.01.11F.  If I should update this, where can I get the download?  As I said above, my model does not appear on the Web site.

  This problem occurs because of a problem in 3D screensavers.

  Fix error occurs if you have a corrupt hotfix package or may have downloaded the wrong patch for your platform.

  It is likely that these e-mail addresses already exist in the eSign environment and you are not allowed to add these emails.

  Hi Amos, assuming you want to get more protection, monitoring, there are a few options:

  • You can customize your firefox shortcut on the desktop or the taskbar to open firefox directly in private browsing mode: right-click the shortcut "mozilla firefox", go to properties, and at the end of the target line that should hold them the way to the firefox program folder add " -private"
  • You can enable protection followed not only during private browsing, but in normal windows as hollow a 'hidden' preference: enter on: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named privacy.trackingprotection.enabled. Double-click it and change its value to true.
  • You can set firefox don't remember history in the menu > options > sign confidentiality in order to always run in private browsing mode. However you will not be able to open all normal windows or record the history and passwords if you have defined this mode: confidentiality, and-not-track browsing history settings
