  Good news - I just called Dell who have been extremely helpful technical support. They had no problem talking to me and agreed to send me a replacement at a reasonable cost drive, and it seems they still distribute XP discs. Just thought I would post only in case it helps others in the same boat.

  All Canon printer drivers are available on www.canon.com and select the country where the printer was purchased.  I can't find a printer MPC190 on US site but see a Canon MP190's inkjet printer. Does not check any another country and Canon and other companies to produce and sell different models in different countries.

  I've had my laptop for a good few years now and I need to use the recovery disc, the problem is that the disc is scratched to hell and Toshiba say I must pay £29.99 for a replacement disk, which is a little steep.

  My question is Toshiba has a replacement policy of the disks scratched if it isn't that how all the drivers and pre-installed software back, I have no problem with the help of my parents vista install DVD that is available for 3 machines, but I want all software and stuff that is loaded on the recovery disk.

  Any ideas on how I can do this

  When you buy Toshiba laptop (old model), you will get a disk to restore DVD facilities.
  If this disk is destroyed and cannot be used you can get a new one, but is not free.

  So, you have the choice of ordering a new or install a clean operating system.
  Recovery image recorded on recovery facilities disc contains following software:
  -Operating system
  -All drivers
  -Utilities and specific tools Toshiba
  -Some other software such as a DVD player or application antivirus (trial version)

  In my opinion, you should install own OS. All the drivers, Toshiba tools and utilities that you can download from the Toshiba support page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

  It is quite the same as on the recovery image. DVD player is not important, and you can download free very good VLC player. As an antivirus application I recommend Avira antivir.

  I just bought a 8 operating system Windows using the upgrade wizard for my PC that only cost me $39.99. So, technically everything went smooth here and I have not had any problems. Then I went to my laptop and installed W8 using the upgrade wizard. I had a different understanding with the use of product key number which is my bad, so I went ahead and buy another key product of a value of $69.99. Now, I just received the email with the product key for the free Media Center, so I went to come and enable features. After an hour or two, he then asked me to reactivate again and none of the my 3 PRODUCT KEY works!

  I know there is another way to do the activation but I cannot easily contact Microsoft because 1. I only have a mobile phone and they do not allow calls even for toll-free service and 2. It's late at night here and I don't really know what to do.

  Please, I don't want to spend another key just to have my Windows 8 enabled on my laptop. If I only knew that the Media Center installation would ruin my Windows 8 Pro in my laptop, I shouldn't have used the product key, they provided.
