Newsgroup message transfer

I was recently using Microsoft Communities Group of Discussion, I understand now was a discussion group. I was at halfway across a few issues a problem but the postings have now disappeared. I have heard since Microsoft ends the Newsgroup. Can someone tell me please if Microsoft will transfer my assignments to answers or how can I ask them to do this?

  • Pic message transfer failure

Over the past two days, the Messages Application on my iMac and MacBook Pro is faced with a problem.

Specifically, when a jpeg file is sent from an iPhone, it is not received by my iMac or MacBook Pro.  I can send JPEGs of my computers through Message, but after a submission, the ability of the Messages app to receive subsequent texts or iMessages is reduced (it looks like something is "clogging the pipeline...) »).  Simple text messages seem to be received without any problem, I noticed...

When I check on computers, Messages file transfers (window > file transfers), I can see that JPEG files recently sent from an iPhone, are in a hung process of downloading, or if they've been sitting long enough, there is a message that the "provider request failed. A few other files jpeg transfer failure messages read, "the server returned HTTP status code: 401."

I signed out and signed in iCloud on both computers, but it has not solved the problem.   I if it was an interesting coincidence that both computers have experienced the same problem at the same time and wonder if there is some type of problem with the external network...

    Thanks for any thoughts...

    Bob

I also see a new message to the title of file transfers, "Session URL error: operation could not be compleded.» (NSURLErrorDomain error - 1003). ((null))

I received the message above after resetting my router...

Make sure that when you create the contact on your BlackBerry® smartphone, that their mobile phone number includes the area code.  Most providers require that the code is used when sending SMS messages.

  • Messages from a blocked number is visible with the tracking of e-mail or through message transfer applications?

If a person that I blocked on my iPhone had to send me a text, (the phone can have an app for text of spying on this subject), and it is implemented the text forward to another device, would be the text appear with one? I really need a good answer with an honest explanation.

It depends on how you have implemented the redirect. If you have set up through your operator (I think that such a thing is possible), then Yes. For example, if I use the app messing my carrier on my iPad, I get all the messages sent to my number of mobile directly from my career, even if I had blocked on my iPhone. If the transmission have been implemented through settings on the iPhone, not because the messages never reach the iPhone.

  • HP Envy 5540: Message transfer ink HP whenever I print! How to stop it?

Whenever I print, there is a 'purchase' of my computer!  A SPEAKER button flashes in my bar downstairs.  If I right click on it, I can close it.  Otherwise, if I didn't, she resumes full screen in huge print and the only way I found to close it is to click on the link http://www8.hp.com/us/en/hp-information/environment/product-recycling.html?jumpid=re_r138_eco_produc... so that I can access my tray icon with the right button and close the bottle!  How boring!

    What can I do?

Well, this should prevent the error:

    1. If the printer is connected to your PC via a USB cable, remove it.
    2. Close any programs you have open.
    3. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    4. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
    5. Click on remove the instrument.
    6. Repeat for any other icon of your printer listed.
    7. If you removed the USB cable, connect. If this is not the case, click on add printer and follow the prompts to add a new queue for your printer.

Please let me know if that solves your problems. If you can prevent the popup, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • Transfer messages text and imessages iphone 6s for macbook pro app?

I want to transfer all my messages imessages and the text of my iphone to my macbook pro app messages 6s. My iphone 6 s currently is running on iOS 9.3.1. My macbook pro is OS X Yosemite, Version 10.10.5. I just like having my messages in two places, if anyone has any other suggestions. I would really like to have all my messages on my messages on my cell phone app.

Well, you want your previous posts there? Or do you want simply that all new? Unfortunately, I have not yet found a way to old messages on a Mac - only big new incoming/outgoing. To contact all those who use iMessage hollow of your Mac, just sign in with your Apple ID. If you also have SMS, text message a phone number, go to your iPhone's app messages, then click Settings > text message transfer and press the button next to your Mac, then put the numbers you see on the screen of your Mac if you have iMessage opened on Mac.

  • All my messages on my iPhone were mysteriously deleted after I restarted - is it possible to sync my old backup iPhone with my iMessages on my Mac?

    Hello!

This past weekend, I noticed that my Messages app acted strangely on my iPhone 6. Accordingly, I turned and turn it on again and noticed that all of my posts have disappeared. I then did a hard reset and turned on - still no messages.

I have my settings to keep my messages forever, what really saddened me to see all of my messages disappeared. In any case, I'm about to restore my backup iPhone on a new phone (6 s). Luckily, I backed up my phone the week last before my messages disappearing.

I understand that when I restore a backup, everything that happened on my phone since will not appear. However, I have also the Messages on my MacBook Air app, when kept all my messages before and after the mysterious disappearance on my phone. Once I have perform this restore, I was wondering if it is possible to synchronize in any post-restore on my laptop to my phone messages.

    Thank you!

    Hi masizh,

Congratulations on your new iPhone 6 s! I understand that you want to synchronize the restoration of post messages on your Mac Messages app to your iPhone 6 s. If these are the iMessages, your new device needs to load the entire conversation once you send or receive an iMessage from the recipient. SMS messages may not work in the same way, however, you can contact your operator for support with text messages.

To continue to have your Mac with your iPhone SMS sync, don't forget to implement continuity with your new device.

If you have an iPhone, the SMS that you send and receive on your iPhone may appear on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch as well. You can then continue the conversation from any device is closer to you.

Set up SMS and MMS messaging

Use this feature with any Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that satisfies the requirements of continuity system. Make sure that your devices are configured as follows:

    • Each device is connected to iCloud with the same Apple ID.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > Send and receive. Make sure the Apple ID at the top of the screen is the same Apple ID you use for iMessage on other devices. Add a check to your address, phone number, so that you can be reached by both iMessage. Do the same on your iPad or iPod touch.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > transfer, text messages, then choose which devices to send and receive text messages from the iPhone. A verification code and then on each device. Enter this code on your iPhone.
    • On Mac, open Messages, and then choose message > Preferences. Click accounts, and then select your account from iMessage. Make sure the Apple ID shown here is the same Apple ID you use on other devices. Add a control to your phone number and email address.

Use the SMS and MMS messaging

To use this feature, simply start conversations as usual in the Messages application on any of your devices. Alternatively, you can start a conversation by clicking a phone number in Safari, Contacts, calendar, or other applications detecting phone numbers. All your incoming and outgoing messages on all your devices.

Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Enjoy your new iPhone!

  • my iPhone messages are not related to my MBP

My MBP does not check the code to send and receive my iPhone SMS

    Hello rose_bud_2012,

I understand you are trying to use the continuity between your Mac and your iPhone so that you can send SMS and MMS messages from your computer, but aren't being asked to enter the code during the installation. Fortunately, we have a number of measures that can help to ensure that everything is as it should before the implementation, but also to ensure that everything goes as planned during the installation.

Use this feature with any Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that satisfies the requirements of continuity system. Make sure that your devices are configured as follows:

I understand that you have updated to macOS Sierra, and now you can not send SMS messages. I know it's nice to be able to have continuity in your messages on devices, so I'm happy to help you.

There are a few settings that should be checked to make sure that everything is correctly configured for this feature. This article has more information on the subject:

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. From your post, I am not sure if you want your Mac to pass messages text or if you want to stop. Whatever it is, it is usually easy and to turn this feature on or off.

  • Can I use Messenger text message my phone contacts?

Hello.  I recently bought an iPhone to complete my Mac desktop computer.  I noticed that when I open Messenger on my desktop Mac, I found all my contacts were synced on it - which is really nice...

Now, I'm trying to figure out how I can send a text message to my partner.  How does this work?

I found the contact and get my message.  I click on send... but nothing happens.  It is said 'Not submitted' next to a symbol.

It shows, at the bottom left, I have 3 accounts, but I don't know who.

In any case - how it works?  What should I do to send a text message?

    Thanks in advance.

I guess you mean 'Messages '? "The Messenger is a product of Facebook.

Make sure that your iPhone and your Mac are signed in the same Apple ID Then on your iPhone, go to settings > Messages > text Message transfer, and then select your Mac.
