• Pop-out window is not a video

  Hello

  I have an application based on sencha touch 2.1, for this I replaced the Ext.viewport.Viewport and there I found that window.innerHeight and Window.outerWidth from 346 and complete application UI become blurred.

  If I run the same application on ripple Server emulator Q10 that it is in very good shape. In the emulator, I get the inner and outer height 720.

  Please give me a workaround to resolve the problem.

  The reason for that happening is that Q10/Z10 have screens high density with a devicePixelRation around of 2 so the lack of scale to about 0.5 (the above is the exact amount)

  When I move my cursor/arrow on my touchpad on my laptop 11 flow through the office, or sometimes on a web page, for example, the date and time pop - up down to left and the research / action / start / devices / Setup window appears on the right side of the screen. It makes me crazy. How can I disable this feature of the software?  If I need them, I can simple enter the windows on the bottom of the screen icon. In its current form, it is playing all the time and I want to turn it off. Thank you.

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Notebook PC 11 workflow and settings of Touchpad not working not properly. You can disable the popup of charms by right-clicking on the desktop go to properties. In the properties of Navigation window and the taskbar, click the Navigation tab and uncheck the box - when I point to the upper right corner, show the charms.

  Here is a document on how to troubleshoot the Touchpad, if you need it.
  
  If you proceed to the section setting of TouchPad pointing the sensitivities it should help solve the problem. Enable or disable individual gestures by clicking the check box next to each item. A check mark in the check box indicates that the gesture is turned on.

• Satellite P100-221: TV Out & Windows update

  Hey everybody,

  I have Satellite P100-221 and I have 2 problems:

  1. I connect my computer laptop to the TV using the S-video via the S-video port cable, then when I press Fn + F5 it gives me the entire options, including CRT, LCD/CRT, LCD/TV & TV then I select TV and nothing happened at one of the laptop screen and the TV screen. I tried several times and it does not work, if any body can help me in this matter and if there are actions should be made in the display properties, I would be much appreciated.

  2 - operating system laptop is Windows XP Media Center, and whenever I try to connect the windows update server it gives me an error update failure, someone has an idea of what is causing this problem, I would be grateful.

  You you properly connected portable TV and have you enabled the s-video on the TV?

  Have you checked if it s possible to switch to the TV via the Nvidia nView Desktop Manager?
  This option that you can find in the control panel. There must be an option to turn on the TV.
  You can also try to update the hotkey utility. The P100-221 is a series of PSPA6E. Do not forget that you are using the correct driver.

  But a question: have you used the Toshiba OS or have you installed the operating system from the Microsoft CD?

  I can t tell a lot about the failure of update. Maybe something wrong on the inputs of server or Microsoft registry on your device. Try to search the knowledge base Microsoft for similar problems.

• Application stops working out - Windows 10, CVI 2013

  I recently moved from Win 7 to 10 to win.  Now, all the applications I built under Win 7 or rebuilt under Win 10 "stops working" at the exit.  I found some posts that were similar and posted one, but got no response.  As another user has pointed out, I did a return 0; immediately following main() and I get the same error.

  My suspicion is Win 10 and cvirte.dll are not compatible.  But honestly, I don't know.  I saw a similar reference to this in 2015 CVI which has been reported by NOR as a bug.  I don't know if it has been fixed.

  All the solutions to this?

• Myself locked out Windows (by accident, oops!)

  So, I wanted to set up a dual-boot between Windows 8.1 (update 1) and Ubuntu for Android development on my Acer Aspire V5-571P-6429, rather than using a Virtual Machine and have to share resources. I went to change my settings for UEFI and changed for Legacy UEFI BIOS to disable startup secure, then apply changes and away I went. Or so I thought. I got the PCIE splash screen and if I cancel it, or if it fails (which always happens), he continues to say the operating system is not found. I've seen different solutions, such as here:

I'm running on an Ubuntu Live CD (I can access all my readers, including files on my internal drive, so he didn't there absolutely no problems with the drive or disc hard themselves), so I'm not completely in the dark, although I'd really like to have access to Windows 8.1. I have a USB key with an 8.1 on this installer, but I would really like to make sure that I can reset my BIOS first before having to start Ubuntu, once more and save all my files (which I wouldn't do, because I don't really feel like immediately wipe). 8.1 installer doesn't have an option to let me access the UEFI settings, either. All I have is a command prompt.

  Is there anyway I can force me access my BIOS/UEFI (don't know what the right term to use is here) and return this change? Even if I can just reinstall the BIOS to reset to the default values, or some kind of loophole bit I can use (like a kind of miracle Live CD), nothing to keep me from wiping and reinstalling would be the best.

  Oh and needless to say I probably won't touch this setting never after this correction. I'll probably find a few other laptop to install Ubuntu on as griddle not this one.

  So I decided to look into the BIOS update files, and I managed to extract the files from the most recent BIOS update the firmware using 7 - Zip, then I manually installed the files using the applications is it came with, WinFlash32.exe within the environment that took my USB W8. It reset my default BIOS settings and allowed me to join Windows again!

  For those who have the same problem I had, do the following:

  1. install 7 - Zip on a secondary computer.

  2. open the installation file (mine was VA410218.exe) in 7 - Zip (this is a 7-Zip self-extracting file) and extract the files to a second drive.

  3. open the file launch.bat in a text editor, then took the USBs and they inserted into my laptop and starts windows 8 USB. I went to the repair of Windows, then open a command prompt.

  4. I typed in F:/WinFlash32.exe/bcp/SD /ver /cvar /v/endkey / / silent bbl /cac /cbp 30/line F:/BIOS.cap, plugged my laptop, and then press ENTER. (NOTE: the F drive may change depending on your computer.) Try a few different drives and try the 64-bit version, WinFlash64.exe, as well.)

  5. let it do its thing and it restarts, then flashed the BIOS image.

  6. he restarted once more and restarted correctly in Windows 8.

  I think I found a solution!

  Right click on the speaker icon on the lower right part of your screen (sorry, don't remember the English name for it) and choose "Playback devices", you will get the sound menu. Click the Communications tab. You will find a set of options to "when windows detects the activity of communication:

  Choose "do nothing".

  This problem solved for me, hope it helps guys too. Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker.

• Stand-by is gryed out in the turn off computer window. How can I fix the problem?

  Windows 7 has been/is the best operating system, Microsoft has released to date. Lets admit, Windows 8 is designed for tablets and touchscreens. So why has Microsoft stopped selling Windows 7 when it is perfect for desktop computers? I build desktop and I refuse to install Windows 8 because it was so badly designed. I think "stockpilling" Windows 7.
