NIS 2010 Installation survey program

Hello!

My PC has a single unit of hard drive (160 MB) with two partitions 'C' (149 MB) and ' (6.27 GB).

The partition on this disk, that is, has ' a 901MB of free space on total 6.27 GB.

The PC recovery system and partition restore points system - would be "is used for the recovery system.

So, my question relates to whenever I have install Norton Internet Security (NIS) 2010 or earlier versions

the free space in Partition D get size reduced by 1 or 2 or maybe 3 MB. End result is that

the PC reliability and performance shows warning that free space is less than 15%

and low disk space can result in poor performance and low virtual memory errors .

This case occurs only with the installation of Norton Internet Security (NIS).

When I install McAfee Internet Security does not reduce the free space in Partition D.

The Norton came installed on my PC system, so I prefer the NIS.

Then, why this happens only in the case of NIS and not McAfee Internet Security.

How can I stop reduction of free space on the Partition was "during the installation of Norton Internet

Security.so that warnings like Low Disk Space on Partition D not not come up .

    Hello

Before August 11, 2010, updates, I tried uninstalling Movie Maker and microsoft frontpage as I don't need them at all.

After that updates finished installing, an error displayed that KB983583 cannot be installed. However, it is listed on the Add/Remove Programs list. My computer came with OEM Trial Microsoft Small Business Suite, SP2, programs Dell I have long removed from my computer.

I noticed that one of the 11 August 2010 updates, has been for Movie Maker. Because the program does not appear on the Add/Remove Programs dialog box, I installed Revo Uninstaller using erasure under Tools, Track Cleaner.  The folder and files kept reappearing after being uninstalled. So I downloaded CCleaner under Options, Include and that no longer works!

So I went through the instructions on GeeksToGo Web site under the instructions of the Guide to spyware removal and malware and the Google Redirect so.

Initially, the programs that I downloaded from this site worked, but after a updated August 11, especially with the KB982665.

Last night, I was testing the programs I downloaded Malware and Spyware Removal Guide and Guide to Google redirect and when GMER.exe completed, I waited a few minutes before you touch the button works on my computer, then my computer restarted. After the reboot, GMER.exe ran once again, the screen went blue with the following message appears on the screen:

    'Kwtyapow.sys '.

    Step: 0 x # (0 x #, 0 x #, 0 x #)

I ran scans with NIS 2010, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and programs under Geeks to go from Malware and Spyware Removal Guide. With no virus or anything after the scanning has been completed.

I posted on the Malware and Spyware Removal Guide, but I posted by mistake new information with last night and today's events because I posted at the beginning. After hitting submitted post, I saw that when I responded to my post, I pushed Geeks to go meet my original message. So here I am!

Can you please let me know how to solve this problem? Thank you very much.

    Hi Frans,

It's a SCAM! Microsoft does not make that neither have they partners that do and don't they hire contractors or individuals or even to find volunteers to do. There are probably thousands of these companies out there do every day - we get two or three posts like this (or more) each day ask about it. You are lucky who have recognized the scam enough not to be sucked in and eventually identify theft, infections, hacking your computer, convince you to buy software or services you either did not need or that do not really exist at all and all sorts of nefarious stuff. You'd be surprised how much contact us AFTER THAT that they realized they had been duped asking what to do. Don't waste time talking to these people, not give them any personal information it is, don't be fooled by what they can get allows you to see on the computer - in fact, not do anything they suggest on your computer or even to visit Web sites they recommend and for the love of God don't give them access to your computer.

Microsoft knows this is happening, but with these companies popping up like dandelions, or closing and changing names when discovered and operating mainly from abroad, it would take an army of lawyers to sue each other. They do the best they can, but they are just too many and more added every day. People need to pay attention to these things. They occur not only by telephone, but also by e-mail, instant messaging, mail and all the ways imaginable. Forget not that Microsoft doesn't this and hang up or remove the emails or messages or mail from someone claiming that they do because they know the information on your computer or that you want to get information from you to confirm your account so that it will not be closed and asking you your name of user and password and all sorts of other personal information. Microsoft DO NOT!

Flashed it between these two screens for over 48 hours now... As to what he is hanging on, I am at a loss? I have to restart it once (about 26 hours on the right) and she appeared with this same screen once again. Help, please!

  • Errors of installation of programs that require administrator privileges - ON a user administrator account

I don't necessarily get coverage error messages (and in some cases I don't get any other error message that the computer tells me an error has occurred), but when I try to install/load of programs that are based on the internet (Viewer gotomypc, photo uploader facebook, other programs uploader, etc.) I can not install the program, unless I have save the file on my computer then right click on the file and select "Run as Administrator" When my user account is the main account on my PC.

My account shows that it is an admin acocunt, so it's not as if this has been changed.

I can't pin-point when this started to happen, but it lasts for quite awhile - maybe since the latest service pack installed...?

This is the normal way to solve any problems with the installation of programs > download/save to the desktop > right - click > run as admin.

  • "Mesa.dll is not found" from CVI 2010 installation

When I launch an executable file that has been installed from a distribution kit created with CVI 2010 (360), I get the message "Mesa.dll is not found." But I do not see that the file is installed in C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\Shared\Mesa.  If I replace this file with a mesa.dll more than a previous version of the CVI, my newly installed executable launches properly.

    Hi mrtqs,

While testing on this issue, I came across a similar problem.  From my understanding, the CVI Run - Time Engine will also install of VS 2008 C++ Runtime parts.  According to that the CVI Run Time options you choose to install a different part of the runtime C++ 2008 VS will be included in the installation.  It seems that Microsoft has been able to modify the runtime C++ VS 2008 for some parts, but not others, which is what causes the problem.  As a result, there are a few options:

    1. install the runtime full CVI with default settings

2 leave out the ActiveX module if does not necessary

    3. install the runtime C++ 2008 VS separately on the deployment computer.

  • After that Windows Update installation, some programs fail to open but take up to 25% of the CPU usage

Hi I have a HP Probook 6470 b. After installation of the latest series of Windows updates my laptop fails to open the common programs such as Word 2010, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Internet Explorer 11. Other programs such as Excel 2010 and Chrome are not affected. Programs not just open, but on the control task manager, they are each taking up 25% CPU, which is the set of core.

Strangely, on a machine identical to the work occurs the same problem but on a desktop computer, I can't reproduce the problem. With my laptop I use system restore and the problem goes away until Windows Update to run again - there are quite a few updates and I can't identify what the source of the problem.

    Everyone knows about this problem?

Hello. In the end, I managed to get out. It was Microsoft EMET that was causing problems. Ultimately I unchecked all boxes and now all my programs work correctly. Strangely Chrome and Excel have been unchecked already which is the reason for which they worked.

  • Adobe Presenter in Adobe eLearning Suite 2 and Microsoft Office 2010 installation

I need help to install the Adobe Presenter software. I have E-Learning Suite 2 and Microsoft Office 2010. The rest of the complete Installation of E-Learning has been made, including Adobe Presenter. When I navigate to the folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Presenter 7 Installer for eLS 2\7.0\en_US files and try to install the adobe_presenter_patch_v701.exe file it asks for a serial number. I enter the serial number of the E-Learning Suite in the box, but she did not accept the serial number.

I did a google search on it and got the below link:

    l http://blogs.adobe.com/Captivate/2010/09/MS-PowerPoint-2010-support-in-Adobe-Presenter.htm

I downloaded 2 patches of the viz Adobe Presenter 7.0.1 update link and Adobe Presenter 7.07 below updated and tried to run. Which failed.

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=153 & Platform = Windows

Can someone offer you please help in this as to what patches to download and run.

The Microsoft Office installed on my system is a 32-bit.

If you want to use the presenter 7.0.6 (note that it is an Action Script 2 [AS2] application and will not work live Connect, or any other AS3 application), you must follow the steps described here: http://helpx.adobe.com/presenter/kb/install-presenter-7-office-2010.html

If you want to use the presenter 7.0.7 (AS3), it's a stand alone Installer, and previous versions of the presenter must be uninstalled everything first. The steps to install 7.0.7 can be found here: http://helpx.adobe.com/presenter/kb/upgrade-presenter-7-0-6.html

  • Conversion HARD SSD drive on MBP 2010, need to program

I have a 17 "middle MBP 2010 and in the process of conversion of SSD HARD drive.  I use the latest version of Mac OS X.  What program is recommended to mirror, for the SSD HARD drive image before installing? Or should I simply to reinstall all the programs instead, and then add the data?  A problem, I think that I have on this last approach is that I have many books in iBooks who came not through iTunes, and I see no way to export the data.  Are there times or saving strategies that I use in this business, the question of iBooks and the whole process of frustration?

To install an SSD in a MBP is fundamentally no different from a HARD classic disc.  Format the SSD drive in disk utility > erase to Mac OS extended (journaled) and then copy the HDD to the SSD.  I recommend to use Carbon Copy Cloner for data transfer.  It copies everything. including the OSX and the recovery partition.

    Ciao.

  • Cannot install the update - Windows 7 64 bit (windows installer error - program might not work)

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I'm unable to install updates for iTunes (last successful update was my PC itunes 12.2.2.25 64 bit). The error message I get when you try to run the downloaded exe file from apple is: 'there is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your supplier of staff or the package of support ". Please indicate what the problem is and how I can fix. I am not able to backup or synchronize my devices (for example iphone 6 sec) over to my PC as it is said that iTunes must be 12.3 or higher. Thank you - Bryan

Try to repair the Apple Software Update of the programs and features Control Panel, and then reinstall iTunes.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.
