• Lag - lost newbie desperate and a bit frustrated

  So I just download Premiere Pro the first time yesterday for a school project. This is my first time using something more advanced than Windows Movie Maker, so I was watching YouTube tutorials on how to use everything.

  I feel really terrible lag with audio and video and I can't understand how to fix it. I saw another thread to it a few years ago, where some suggested making audio, and I tried, but nothing improved.

  Since I'm still new to this any suggestions of solutions would be appreciated, especially if explained in a way thorough (and honestly pretty dumbed-down), because I'm totally lost, but I'm trying to power through.

  I don't know if this is essential information, but I'm working on an HP laptop.

• Newbie questions

  After nearly 40 years, using Windows, I ordered an iMac 27 "(renovated)."  I had an Apple II at the end of the 1970s beginning in the 1980s and had an iPhone 4 and still have an iPad 2, but my office has always been a windows box.  So I'm really a newbie on the Mac.  My main job is as an image maker and photographer, using Adobe products. I am become familiar with the software and the new terms and had a few questions.

  My Windows workstation had 4 screens and would like to have 3 screens, on the iMac.  I understand the port Thunderbolt is what I would use, but don't know if I should get some sort of converter hub and put a Thunderbolt port or run each monitor on its own Port. I don't know, what other material may be used on the stroke, if you want advice from other users.  Even if my PC monitors are near the resolution of the iMac, and most of my image work will be done on the main screen, other screens will be used for e-mail, research on the web and others.

  I also use a mouse from the ball on my PC (usb) and I was wondering if it will work on the material of the iMac.  I have a little of magic, as seems to be quite an easy and intuitive interface.

  In any case, I'm sure it's frustrating for users of long-time Mac products to meet a beginner, but advice, links or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  You can use any external screen mini display port. Plug the cable from port mini display on the Thunderbolt on Mac ports, and then you're in business. Connection of external monitors an iMac is extremely simple to do. Apple explains in OS x: how to use several displays with your Mac in Lion mountain and even before - Apple Support. Although this letter of advice is a bit outdated, it should still work properly with your new iMac.

  Insofar as your new magic Track Pad, it may take a little 'getting used to' However, after a week or two, you will get the hang of it. You can find the gestures to use multi-touch on your Mac - Apple Support useful too.

• new newbie question

  A few background questions: I'm new cs4, Web page design, so I decided to give it a go and have a bit of frustration but love all the DW. I did not any computer of programming since the BACK on a commodore 128 in high school... Although w3schools, adobe tv and youtube are moving me... lol

  I use 3 columns locked with header and footer

I added a table to the my content, just below the title of the content and three photos.  Each photo (jpg) is taken from my site images folder and inserted in the top row.  They were previously seen on the design and mode live view and preview in the browser but now just shows Design view and does not appear in mode live view or seen by Preview in the browser. I deleted and reinserted them without change and I've debugged and have no problem but me being a novice... what I am doing wrong or is - it a bug and some simple, easy for a guy not experienced to understand?

  2. can you use the panels reducible spry in a table?  I tried earlier and my site got weird on me, so I removed it.  I already have my nav, so it would be more than a list of data in the area of the environment page?  Can I use the data list instead?  I like the idea that it is reducible to a type of menu.

  I can't see your pictures so I have no way of knowing which ones shows and those who don't.  This is why it is so much better for us if you download the page to the web server and that you post a URL for us to see.

  In your code, I see problems with path. You have this in the header:

• Frustration with updates: what about emoticons

  As a student at the University of Texas Tech, I am frustrated with the change of the emoji barrel of a gun to fire squirt. While your intentions may have been good, end gun violence based on a change of a single emoji clearly won't happen. The spirit of our school is hampered online because we can is no longer ' Let's raise our guns! Other schools, like the OSU and customers are frustrated. I request a review. How is someone supposed to take the Texas Tech Almighty seriously if I put a gun to squirt on my post of the day of the game?

  On my laptop, I see that the Apple Music Playlist Dance Workout is there but I can't add it to my Ipod. How can I listen to that without the help of my phone? That's what I bought an Ipod for and I pay every month. Its no use to me here. How can I add it to my playlist? Help! Very frustrated.

  Apple's music is not compatible with the iPod nano. See the notes at the bottom of:

  1. Apple's music is not available on iPod nano and iPod shuffle.

  The reason is that the Apple's music is a subscription service, so if you have to cancel, you don't get to keep the music you downloaded while you had it. The iPod nano has no Internet capability so there is no way to check the status of your subscription.

• I can't get videos play in Firefox until I close Firefox and reopen it. Super frustrating!

  I keep Firefox open at almost any time and when I load a new page and try and play a video, that this is on youtube, Facebook or another source, it will not play. He stays right on the loading circle all the time. The only time where things happen is when I completely quit Firefox and re - start. It's pretty frustrating for me because I often have several tabs open with I'm working on other things that I don't want to close. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you

• Sites Web does not recognize my password or ID. Frustrated

  I try to get into Verizon. It does not recognize my password or ID. Yet, I can go to E or Chrome and I can get very well. In addition, the same problem with an ancestry.   Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

• Y at - it app in option for Photos?  This application is the application of most frustrating I've ever used

  Photos app frustrates me.  I can't do simple things such as importing a photo in an email without having to open the Photos app and drag and drop a picture in an open email.  Cannot even name a file.  It only adds a tag.  I want something like the photo app in Windows.

  Many, many, many alternatives - look in the App store on internet or on MacUpdate or other Mac software site

  But since you have not bothered to learn to use pictures, it is likely that any attempt to software to use without worrying to learn yu will also be all or most frustrating

  of course, it's another format darn owner, so you will need a copy of Windows media player for mac.  (or VLC) there is a way to convert, however, but I suspect it will not free

• Since the download 29.0.1 I can no longer cut, copy and paste. So frustrating!

  Often, I copy and paste items in the forums of the site without problem. However, since I upgraded to 29.0.1 I can do is no longer only and it's so frustrating. I tried to do the extra steps click on your copy and paste items, but it does not help. I even tried downloading the AllowClipboard Helper, but that no longer works. I never needed this add-on in the past.

  This is ridiculous.

  How to get back to version 28? It worked well but had to just go ahead and 'fix' and I hate the new version. I could download the Restorer Classic theme which helped a lot, but some things I couldn't do as version 28.

  Hi karenbills, in fact, the fox icon is part of the title bar. To display the title bar, you can use customize and click the button at the bottom left of the title bar. However, it adds another line of height to the toolbar area, which I think is the reason for which it does not appear by default.

• Ads pop up on the new MacBook Air. Very frustrating.

  I just plug a new MacBook Air on the weekend. I used help migration to transfer my files from one to the other. I think that it might cause a problem because whenever I try to use Safari and click a link, or anywhere on a page, it opens a new tab for a page popup for a betting site or similar. This was also a problem on my old MacBook. I was told that it was just slow. I understand there are a lot of these questions, but I can't find an answer which is quite recent. How can I solve this... Very frustrating and obviously it shouldn't be a virus/malware on a new product so could come from the former? Help!

  2 months ago, I saw all the news about JAVA security issues. I disabled it - now I need. I downloaded the jre with Oracle 7. Their tool check says unable to verify java on my system. I lived many suggestions of firefox - still nothing. It appears even in my modules or plug-ins. What Miss me? I am applied pretty computer - not a newbie - but not a tech either. Anyone?

  Do you remember how you disabled? There is a tab in the Java Panel which does not appear in one of your browsers. If you out there, you will probably have to return to the control panel and turn it here first.
