  The file properties check the metadata associated with the file.  This error occurs generally when the file was created on an NTFS volume and some of the assosiated with this file metadata is not supported on a FAT32 volume.   the fastest way to stop hot keys is to remove the Hotkey Services in the Windows startup process.

  Launch msconfig, look at "Startup" and search for "00Thotkey" and "000StTHK".

  With all due respect, you are incorrect. You simply did not notice before D drive. D drive is a logical drive. To the best of my knowledge there is no way to prevent it from the show. However, simply disable the system for D drive restore.
