I have no sound at all.  Audio is good if I use headphones, but no sound from speakers.  I just turned on... utility troubleshooting used, found nothing.  Any ideas?

I hate when that happens and it happened to me so much I now have a shortcut on my desktop, so I can go directly to the "SOUND". The long way in VISTA > Click =... > start > Control Panel > hardware and audio > Sound > speakers.

If not do something else. > Start and type device dev Manager, it is usually listed at the top of the list > it and > continue when the window user account appears near the bottom, you will see the audio, video and game controllers. Don't forget to get there because there are a few things get you out of here and look for sound after ezch so that you know that is for next time.

    Right >

    (1) > check for changes

    (2) > uninstall and restart

3-> update Driver > search automatically update driver software

4-> update Driver > Browse my computer for driver software > let me pick from a list when it goes to the next window, it will usually be a selection, go through them and see which works and make a note of it for future Referances.

I removed my speakers to my s 580 Dell Inspiron and when I hooked them back - no sound?  I haven't tried reinstalling the driver still no signal audio through speakers or computer?

    What is obvious:

    * Make sure that they are in the good grip on the PC

    * Make sure that they are on (if powered)

    * make sure the volume control is not muted in the mixer and anyu other sliders of reading are at the height max

    * Make sure that in Control Panel / sounds they are selected by default device for playback

    * try them on the PC of a friend "just in case" they broke

If the audio test successful in diags - beeps / musical chime heard - the material is very well

Hello Rishi. Welcome to the Audio card to the laptop and thank you for your help with this thread.

The ePSA test no test not all audio material and if the test is best used to determine that the speakers work or do not have been disconnected.

For example if audio is coming through the headphone but not through the speakers, a technician may use the test to determine whether or not the speakers have failed. If the speakers pass the test, and the technician believes the test means that the hardware is fine, he or she ignores the most likely cause of the problem which is a failure of the impedance probe in the jack - a hardware failure.

  • T440p: Audio from speakers despite the headphones connected to the Jack

This does not always happen, but I noticed a few times on my T440p that when I have the headphones plugged in, sound out speakers. Headphones are functional and totally blocked, yet no sound out of them, and sound speakers. I fixed it several times by unplugging the headset and connect their folder in.

Does anyone else have this problem? If so, were you able to fix? It's a problem for me because it distracts those who work around me.

    Thank you.

(my problem is different from this one, where the sounds from the headphones and speakers)

Yes, it should be in classic mode. I've seen a few cases where it is lacking to multiple streams, which is not really the typical usage scenario.

  • Can I remove audio from video in Windows Vista?

    De :  GEMMA47

Message: is it possible to remove a vidio audio I have a vidio of holiday with a language of choice in places. If possible I would like to add music to. I'm using vista Home premium

    De : John Inzer

In Movie Maker... right click /... cut the Audio track and add your new music to the Audio track music.

If you want only some parts muted... split the video and just cut specific segments.

If you do not see the Audio track... develop the tracks by clicking on the +.

  • No sound from speakers after update (Windows/BIOS)? What can I do to fix this?

If you do not have from speakers after an update (Windows or Bios), please try a Hard reset first. Also, keep reset material mind does the same thing with each cell.

Now, if the hard reset does not work, you will need to update the Audio drivers (Realtek High definition (HD) Audio Driver) on the HP site.

Once you arrive at this page of your product type # in (if you don't know what your product is # or when it is on the laptop, here is a video that will show you exactly where to find ) > search click > select the option 'Software & Driver Downloads' > choose your operating system (not sure what operating system you have or where?) ( This should help out you) > then click after selecting operating system > scroll down and click on the + (plus) next to "Audio driver" > and then select the most recent version by checking the date on each download > then run.  Now test the sound after installation.

Also, please try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the IDT HD Audio Driver If the steps above do not work. How to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01868333

The last step to do if you get always no sound at all is a system restore to when you know the sound worked and do not download the last updated after that.

Here is the document to show you how to proceed. Select the option at the top that says "restore windows to an earlier point.

Just make sure and save the files and upload, you have recently installed or saved on your laptop.

  • audio previews from the project window?

I hate to admit it, but I can't figure out how to preview audio files in the project (CS5) AE window.  In older versions, I was able to simply double-click on an audio file and play - and I am able to preview images, but not audio video in the project window and fixed (when I double-click on audio files, an image window opens, but when I hit space, nothing happens, as opposed to video footage, which plays when I hit the space bar).

The only way I can understand to listen to audio clips is to place it on a timeline the comp - but this is a bit boring and ineffective.  I know that there must be a simple answer, but I can't understand it.  When I check the help files, it just says how to obtain an overview of the timeline, not the project window.

By pressing the space bar is never a way to listen to audio clips in After Effects.

All the methods mentioned on this page to preview audio work in film Panel and the timeline panel.

So, if you double-click an audio footage item in the project Panel to open it in the footage Panel, you can then use RAM Preview or audio clip only to listen to the audio.

  • NO sound from speakers or headphones

    HP ENVY 15-3033cl laptop PC

    Windows 7 64 bit

no error message, I was watching a movie when my laptop died. I plugged it into the power source and now there is no sound from speakers or headphones when I plug. I already went through the troubleshooting steps sound but it says there is no problem detected by the device. The computer is still failry new less than a year, but lies outside of the 90 day warranty. Help please.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56501-57000/sp56900.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you're done, shut down the laptop and perform a "Hard Reset" for your model, as described in the document of HP here.

One when you're done, press next to the key ESC that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

    Kind regards

It is not possible to get music on the speakers of the network. The speaker must be connected directly to the laptop for music.

  • No sound from speakers after updating sound card driver

    Hello

I recently had problems with my Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 (vista 32-bit windows operating system). I couldn't get a USB microphone to work and I decided to update the sound card driver. I downloaded and updated what I thought, it was the right driver (sigmatel high definition audio codec) and since there is no sound from speakers. I followed the guide from Dell troubleshooting and disconnect any external devices and then click right click the mixer volume in the system tray, and then clicked on "open volume Mixer" and I get the message: no audio device installed. I went to the control panel to check the sound card driver and he told me that the codec sigmatel high definition audio works well and he has not updated. I unfortunately can't restore the system that system restore installation in my computer stopped working awhile (even when I start windows in safe mode) so I'm stuck. I think that I have installed the wrong driver for the sound card but don't find it not easy to understand which driver to search the dell support center. It seems that the audio card is called something like "HDAUDIO\func01_ & FRI etc. looks Chinese to me. Could someone help? I would be very grateful

  • How to completely remove Beats Audio from my system?

My computer is a number of product p7-1534, H2N63AA #ABA, running 64-bit Windows 8.1.  The audio driver was an IDT, downloaded directly at HP, specifically planned for my system.  I'm trying to figure out how to completely remove the Beats Audio from my system.  It appears in the Beats Audio, but don't control panel displays in the section programs, so I can't figure out how to uninstall IT... or it can be uninstalled without uninstalling the entire driver?  I tried to disable the Beats Audio screen and it cleared more of the effect it has on the audio, but not all - the bass is still substantially stronger than it should be.  All I want is for the music to sound just as it was initially recorded in the studio, not artificially enhanced by Beats Audio.

I think that I'm finally rid of him.  I searched drive C for 'beats' and 'beat' and erased all those who appear to be associated with the Beats Audio.  I had to do that three times, each time by removing all tht files Beats appeared in a search.  Finally, after the third startup, nothing showed up in the search.  My audio works just fine and no more Beats Audio.  I guess I could still run beats through the motherboard, but, as long as I don't try to run beats, it loads is no longer automatically at startup.

    Thanks for your time.

  • My sound from speakers and shit

(I have the IdeaPad y510p, btw).

Then I updated level to Windows 10 Home and noticed that my JBL speakers now sound like shit.

I reinstalled the sound drivers, nothing works.

I noticed, however, that things sound beautiful when you use headphones... so I don't think that it is the sound card, but the speakers that have reset or whatever the update.

I remember when I bought this PC firstly that there was only some built in Lenovo crudware to change sound options, and most of them makes the speakers sound bad, as they do now - slender and away a little weak. So I uninstalled.

Now that my sound from speakers like this again, is there a way I can get this program once again? I have no idea what it was called, but it allowed you to adjust your speakers for stuff like 'movies' and 'music '. I want to see if fiddling with making my speakers together again.

And otherwise, a Council? Any ideas?

    Grazie.

Of course, how selfish of me.

Type in "change the settings of the sound card" in the search bar and open it. Double-click on your speakers to open the speaker Properties window. In this, go to the tab called Dolby and click the power button in the upper left corner to switch it off.
