Is the reason I'm bringing this place, I was looking to buy a new battery, until they are no longer available. My battery is in good enough condition, and the power manager supports this. After a count of 464 cycle I would have thought that he should have at least a few notifications about the battery. Even the thresholds have never changed.

So my question is... It's really nothing. I really don't think. If anyone has any pictures, screen captures or links to the video of how some of these notifications appear, it would be too much. Periodically show messages about the load capacity is also activated, never seen a.

Lenovo should have a team of programmers of high quality and of engineers to solve the problems of the people here. None of my previous posts have been resolved, and since the purchase of this Thinkpad, remain problems/flaws. It would be nice to get more tech savvy here.

Check number of the tab of the battery for the ability to design and the full Charge capacity. By dividing by the former gives you your current battery health.

I never got a notification until the battery was severely degraded, which could well be a good sign.

  • Satellite R830: Question about power for battery usage options

    Hello world

I recently bought a R830-182 (detailed configuration below).
I had to update Windows 7 Home Premium Ultimate because I need to use it on my university network.

My University gives us an upgrade to windows 7 ultimate edition, but I had to do a clean install (from inside Windows 7 Home Edition, copy the upgrade you can do).
The key, with what they gave me would not work with the Windows anytime upgrade utility.

I think that I have installed everything that I need to get the laptop to work, but I'm not sure of the configuration of the battery. The cooling fan seems to be always on, and when the battery reaches 100% charge that he also said that he is in charge.

    My questions are:
    1. is there another program I have to install to allow the computer manage settings of the battery?
    2. do I need to change some settings in the power options?
3 should. what settings I change in power options?

    Any help would be welcome
    Kind regards

It s a question strange, but everything first, you can check the power settings in the properties of the wireless card. Please, go to the Device Manager and right click-> properties-wireless network card.
There you should find a tab advanced. All parameters must be defined on the default usage and high value.

  • HP pavilion p6520y power source

Hi, quick question about upgrading my video card.

Diablo 3 will be out soon and I would like to upgrade my video card in the game before that. Ive been looking at this map here, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-130-609 & SortField = 0 & SummaryType = 0 & Pagesize = 10 & pure...

and on sound reviews say that it is no necessary additional energy source. But according to the HP website, he states that out of my diet is 250W computer configuration, and the video card requires 300W. Should I get a power supply upgraded to run this video card, or any other video card? I don't want to buy a power supply if not unnecessary, but I would also like to play D3 in graphics the less 'high' mode. Any help or suggestion for video cards would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Mphillips5015, welcome to the forum.

Yes, you will need to upgrade the PSU to run this or any other video card more recent intermediate level.  If you upgrade to at least 500W, you can even buy a better card.  I love the Corsair and OCZ PSU.  They are made with the player in mind.  They provide clean and stable power for your system.  The PSU is the backbone of the computer.  Therefore, it is not the place to save money.
