• 'Go Back' arrow shows more than the last page visited?

Simply upgrade to V4.0 formerly the 'back' arrow showed on the last 10 pages visited. So if I was on a forum page 7 and wanted to return to page 1 I could do this very easily with one click. This version is only allowing me to go back one page at a time. I'm doing something wrong or Firefox goof?

Right click on the "back" button arrow.

• Want to go back for Win 7 after the installation of Win 8

Hello!

2 years ago, I bought a toshiba laptop satellite L series.
It came with a win7 64 bit os and a folder HDDRecovery on hard disk, no cd.

I have used this cover several times before, no problem with that.

Then I bought 8 Win and installed on my computer, removal of Win7.
But I want to go back to Win7.

I tried to press 0 at the beginning for the recovery, but it did not work. Pressing 0 will not activate HDDRecovery

In addition, F8 at startup no longer works with the advanced startup options. I tried to copy all the contents of the folder HDDRecovery on a usb key and start with that, but he said: "no operating system found, displug all devices and restart etc.»

So, the problem is, I can't use HDDRecovery. It is a record around 8 GB. I have it, but can not activate the recovery.

I hope some1 can help

Thank you

Hello

Looks like you made a BIG mistake because you have not created the recovery din mentioned user manual disc / reminder on screen, etc.

The fact is that recovery of HARD drive was an option of additional recovery next to recovery disk but drive HARD recovery does NOT work after the HARD drive has been formatted, modified or another operating system installed.

If not, you have just one option: you have to order a recovery disc that contains Win 7

• Update of Lightroom CC November 2015: import format is back to normal, but after the first import, now it shows not all pictures on my card

I * hated * the new import dialog box so actually have several cards which have just been collectible images in recent months. I was so happy to hear that Adobe has put the old import returns with this version. I've upgraded LR, jumped into one of my cards, was delighted to see the old format which shows me the destination directories and allows me to their collapse downwards, then uncheck the box. Then I collapse all and select a date, choose metadata presets (location) and add keywords for this event and import. Beautiful... so far now, in the next few days. Or so I thought.

I click Import the 2nd time, the card reader flashes for a bit, then stops - no image showing to import. GMA

-J' I doublecheck the setting of the "export map" - he did not review. But I have reinstall the card anyway. Nothing.

-J' have check in Windows Explorer - Yes, a lot of ships there to import.

-Well, maybe he thinks he imported, so I uncheck the "don't import suspected fooled no" (which used gray-just out them anyway)-nothing.

-J' I quit and restart Lightroom. Nothing.

-J' I plug the card reader into a different USB port. Nothing.

Adobe WTF? I have never seen this one before. I'll reboot the PC right then, but thought I would ask if others see it too...

Well, I'm distracted: my line "I have never seen anything like this before ' was BS. 6 months ago I * fact * see the solution and it was to switch the triangle next to folders to destination according to another thread. Fortunately, just after the announcement, some screen I went to in the forums showed me my past behaviour, and there was the answer. This bug is apparently still there - if your images to import will not be displayed, try clicking on the Panel of the destination folder on the right side of the dialog box and they'll pop right back in - they have just made for me. I wish you to understand why this is happening and why they have not fixed.

• Browser 'Back' arrows do not work with the Flash buttons.

Can't seem to get around this problem...

I did several keys flash for use in my navigation bars. They work fine, but the 'return' arrows on the browser are still grayed out. It does not matter what kind of browser I use.

Flash keys are embedded in the pages and the site was done in Dreamweaver. I posted the same question on the Dreamweaver forum and got vague answers.

Is there a code I can put in my Flash buttons?

If you have an answer please be specific as I'm not an expert.

The site is fireonmcginnis.com

or just type 'Fire on McGinnis' in a search engine.

-Toastieo

Spry or regular hyperlinks in a list configuration or nav. One is better than the buttons Flash.

It's a search bot will read the HTML in these types of links (spry or HTML) and indexes. Way if you have a calendar of events for upcoming shows, or a Discography page, can and will be able to make a reference to them in search engine databases later (usually about 72 hours after indexing). Using the Flash, there is no code for the bot to find and your upcoming events, or a download page if there is one, will never be seen in a search even if people look directly to "fireonmcginnis: Annex", or "music by fireonmcginnis" because Google, Yahoo, Lycos and other pages simply do not exist.

Spry is great if you have submenus, and since it can be customized using CSS, you can make it match your layout of the site. You can also do with hyperlinks regualr and CSS, but spry looks more attractive to a large number of Internet users and the submenus are a little more difficult with basic HTML.

For the record, the script should read: getURL ("http://www.site.com/page.html""_self"); for the buttons. There's a drop down to select _blank, _self, _parent etc when you add the getURL script to the button.

But... you need to stay away from the keys Flash for navigation or you're really defeat the purpose of putting a band on a Web site in the first place. It is the exhibition and keys Flash will limit seriously that exposure, even if they are working correctly.

• How to avoid the focus problem when browsing via browser back button

Hello

I am facing a problem in setting focus on the buttons.
Please see application: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=47869:2

login details:
Workspace: vsanthanam
user: vijay
PSWD: apex_demo

In this application, I have 2 pages.
#2 has the "submit" button
Page no. 3 contains the Cancel button

The two buttons are basic HTML and can be accessed using access key ALT + s and ALT + c.

The problem is:
When I go back to the previous page (pgid #2) of the application using back button of the browser pgid IE #3.
due to the onFocus event located in the button "submit", control returns to pgid #3.

Is there a possible way to set the focus to other elements. so that whenever IE brower back button, application would stay in
page #2.

I took approaches:
-------------------------
If we use onclick, onfocus instead and then the problem remains because we have onfocus = "this.click (); in equipping the Accesskey.
Another way is onKeyup event. If we use onKeyup, we can avoid this browser back problem, but disappears from the access keys functions.

Pointers on this would be a great help.

Thank you very much
-Vijay

PLEASE NOTE: I have created intentionally two buttons on each page. It is necessary to have HTML buttons with the key features of access,
otherwise application gives a few flaws in HTML accesskey.

Hi Vijay,

Crikey, aren't annoying browsers! It took a while to get out, but I've updated your SUBMIT1 button attributes:

class="t20Button" AccessKey="s" tabindex="-1" onclick="javascript:this.blur();doSubmit('SUBMIT1');" onfocus="javascript:this.blur();doSubmit('SUBMIT1');"

Note that I removed the spare semicolons you after each attribute - these are only required in javascript code.

The important point to note are the statements of "this.blur" () - this tells the browser to move away from the current item to the next. On your page, only for this purpose, I have added a text element of Temp - I am assuming that your actual page will have at least one other element on the page that will accept the focus? Everything gets focus of the call "this.blur ()", should be the element with focus when the Back button is used.

• Satellite Pro R50-B-V12 - mousepad sends browser back

I have a Satellite Pro R50-B-V12. I found that if I accidentally drag the top edge of the mouse pad, it is my browser back to a page, boring, especially if I'm filled out a form or making a purchase.
I'm not using two fingers sliding - he does it with one finger.
I tried the control panel > devices > mouse properties > advanced > Action dashboard and disabled the Action from the top edge, yet it still happens.
Someone has other suggestions please? Thank you very much!

He thinks perhaps you use two fingers, try turning off the two fingers setting.

• My back arrow is missing from my toolbar in Firefox and I can't find another way to go back. How can I get it back?

My 'Back' arrow disappeared from my toolbar in Firefox and I can't find a way to return to the previous page. How can I me it back on?

Hey kayo410,

Looks like they have accidentally been removed from the toolbar. The toolbar can be customized quite widely, is not a rare mistake. Take a look at Knowledge Base article the Navigation buttons such as back, home, bookmarks and recharge are missing. It will show you how to restore buttons.

Hope this helps!

• There was a story on the "back" arrow a tiny small downstairs Click arrow where I could choose a specific page of the past to return. He saves hit it and reload the old pages that I want to jump. What can I do now?

in the upper left corner of the toolbar, there is a 'back' arrow and an arrow "forward." before the latest version of the software update to firefox, I used a teeny tiny "down arrow" who was to the right of the "arrow". When I clicked on the little arrow 'down', he showed me a list of all the pages that had recently been opened; not only can a website I visited, but all pages I had sailed on this Web site. I used the arrow 'down' as a shortcut to return to a specific page, to have to click the arrow on the "return", like ten times or more. I really, really, really like for you to put this feature on the back, or tell me what I can do instead. Thank you.

Click with the right button on the Back / Forward buttons for a list of visited sites.

You can also install this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker/ which will give you the back of the small arrow.

• I just download v4.0. How can I get the third arrow back button navigation, which allows the selection of a page forward or back?

I just download v4.0. How can I get the third arrow back button navigation, which allows the selection of a page forward or back?

Don't know how to get the exact button back (sorry) I dig around too much to do...
But! Today, I found by chance that by clicking and holding on the back button the same box to popup in last-12-sites and you can stream on the list to return to that particular site.

Not exactly what you (and me) tried but at least the functionality is there.

Good luck!

I've hidden the toolbar(file,edit,bookmarks,history...etc.) back, forward arrow and icon of the House too, how to view again? TNX

This has happened

Just once or twice

is the last night

Menu bar (File, Edit, View, history, Favorites, tools, help)

Press Alt V T M (CTRL + V T M on Mac) on your keyboard. This should restore the menu bar (Firefox 3.6)

Other toolbars

View | Toolbars | Select the desired toolbar

Other measures to try

Try to restore the default value set by going to display. Toolbars | Customize | Restore the default set. This will put the toolbars in the default slot

Safe mode

You may need to reset toolbars and controls through Firefox in Safe Mode troubleshooting questions
Make sure that completely close Firefox first. When you get to the Safe Mode window, select controls and then make changes and restart and reset toolbars.

I hope this helps!

• My toolbar disappeared completely. I still have the back arrows on the far left, but everything else is just... gone. I tried Firefox to stop and restart several times, but nothing does not change. All toolbars are checked in the view menu.

• HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 N911g - touch screen ' back arrow ' & 'Home' icons do not respond.

The touch screen on my brand new (3 days of use) HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 N911g does not work well. I am able to select an option, for example, the 'settings', but I can't go "before"through screens - the 'back' arrow, or the icons 'Home' of work." This seems to be a hardware problem. You should maybe contact the HP Support (1800-474-6836) or taking it back to the store. Well, here's a link you can follow and help with this question. This can solve the problem. Let me know the results.

• IE cache on the browser back side

Hi all

I have a form page, a page of action and a confirmation page.

I send the form page... takes me to the action page where I validate the fields... fields are NOT valid... I place the data and the error message in the session and redirect (cflocation) to the form page. In the page of form I to store session variables (err message and incorrect data) into local variables, destroy the session variables and use local variables afterwards.

Now I have the correct values and submit the form again... going... valid action page and then redirect to the confirmation page.

Now if I use my browser back from the confirmation page, it takes me to the page of form with the validation error message and incorrect data... I understand that the IE 7 browser uses the cache to get the data... but I tried to use cfheader and META tags to avoid pulling... always pulls of browser cache cache... This does not happen in Firefox. I use the following code.

< name cfheader = 'cache-control' value = "no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate" >
< name cfheader = "pragma" value = "no-cache" >
< name cfheader = "expires" value = "#getHttpTimeString (now ()) #" >

< META HTTP-EQUIV = "expires" CONTENT = "-1" >
< META HTTP-EQUIV = "pragma" CONTENT = "no-cache" >
< META HTTP-EQUIV = "cache-control" CONTENT = "no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate" >

Any thoughts on how this can be resolved?

Hi Madhu,

I am back. I revisited the thread and my test code. The first code that worked for me is, in fact, not very different from the one I gave above. Only the headers, no tag meta. And my headers are more or less the same as those of the original of your post, too! So why it works for me and not for you?

The crucial point to be noted is that if IE buttons next and previous shows pages cached, then it may be that these pages were already stored as history. This means that, in your case, IE must have disobeyed the directive no.-cache. How?

My first guess is: the web server. If you're using ColdFusion's built-in JRun Web Server, for example, then who might be the index. This web server uses the HTTP/1.0 protocol to answer. Current browsers expect the HTTP/1.1 version. For example, the Cache-Control header was introduced in HTTP/1.1. It could be that HTTP/1.0 is too old for IE and, possibly, that IE is not backward compatible as the HTTP protocol is concerned. Test for to do us next is to compare the behavior of the headers for HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1 web servers.
