    Hi there Anlee9!

It looks like invitations to other events is not something you want to receive on your iPhone on iOS 9.3.3 5s. I don't like to be interrupted myself, so I have disabled this feature and I'll be happy to show you how also.

The area you are looking for is actually in the center of Notifications to your iPhone. Tap Settings > Notifications > calendar > Invitations that turns off.

In the calendar on my wife's iPhone, show no birthdays. The birthday calendar is active. Show on the iPad to my wife, birthdays. I checked and compared parameters three times now, but I can't understand why not to show birthdays. On my iPhone and iPad (and iMac) birthdays are presented.

  • How can I delete, accept or decline invitations from calendar without sending a response?

I have a bunch of old Agenda of invitations on my phone calendar. Apparently the calendar application can communicate with Outlook well enough to load the invitations, but not well enough to load the answers I do via Outlook. I don't want to send two copies accept or refuse emails to anyone who has ever invited me to a meeting, but also, I don't want to watch a lot of red on the application of all the time, and see an Inbox full of mess.

How can I remove these invitations without sending responses? I don't want to remove my calendar events, as I like to have everything in one place and use the Outlook calendar as little as possible.

    Thank you.

I think you are saying two things that are almost contradictory here:

    • (Implicit in the fact that you referenced "big red number" and "all those who invited me to a meeting): you save all your events years ago.  For example, perhaps you have been invited to a meeting (the date chosen at random) November 5, 2011 at 10:30 you responded to.  But «I don't want to remove my calendar events...» »
    • "I have... to use the Outlook calendar as little as possible."

Why the world you would hesitate to delete your (potentially many) events for weeks, months, years?

  • Apple Watch calendar will not sync to iPhone

I got my Apple Watch 2 days.

I configured everything that he, as I think the proper way

the watch displays all the my iphone (icloud) calendar entries

When I add an entry to the lookout with Siri, it only appears on the watch and not on icloud / iphone. the difference between the titles coming from icoud and the one with the watch have a different color. This means that they are in different calenars, but I can not choose the type of calendar when I add an entry with the watch.

    Happens wrong here?

    Help, please!

    Hello

When you add a new event calendar using Siri on your watch, it will be added automatically to your calendar by default (unless you specify a different timetable during the creation of the event). To see what calendar currently selected as your default calendar (and, if you wish, to change):

-On your iPhone, go to: settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > default calendar.

Having noted what timetable was initially selected to check if this calendar is currently hidden on your iPhone:

-On your iPhone: open the calendar app > tap calendars (low center) > check if this calendar is registered and if it's hidden. To turn if a calendar is displayed or hidden, tap on it.

Calendars can also be shown / hidden in iCloud:

    iCloud: Customize the calendar view

  • Windows is not inviting them to download pictures from the iphone

It worked... the last month but now when I connect my 5 Iphone to my computer iTunes opens, but he is not ready to do anything for the photos.

The iphone does not show under "computer" shut up... it displays an icon for «icloud photos»

I want to just save the photos from my phone to a folder in my pictures... as I always!

    Always Windows XP btw

Well, it seems that this has to do with the end of support for Windows XP... will not be device drivers up-to-date.

I doubt that, unless you're referring to updates of the driver through Windows Update, that you should NEVER accept for XP.  For Windows XP, an update of the driver should only be downloaded since then, either site of the manufacturer of your computer (e.g., Dell, HP, Lenovo) or the website of the manufacturer of the hardware in question, for example, Apple.

If iTunes recognizes the phone but the phone does not appear in my computer or Windows Explorer (really the same thing), the problem is likely to be something wrong with AppleMobileDeviceHelper.exe AppleMobileDeviceService.exe or another part of the iTunes installation package.

I suggest you uninstall iTunes as follows, then download and install the latest version:

To perform a 'clean' of iTunes installation use this technique proposed, taken from the Apple bandages HT 1925 and HT1926.  (If you are using Vista, see THIS instead).

Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
Remove these applications in the following order (do not restart your computer if you are prompted during this process):

    1. iTunes (if other program entries were listed for iTunes in Add / Remove Programs, remove these establishments)
    2. iPod Updater (if present)
    3. Apple Software Update
    4. Apple Mobile Device Support
    5. Hello
    6. Application of Apple Support (iTunes 9 or later)
    7. iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
    8. QuickTime

Open my computer > C: > Program Files
    Delete these files (if present)

    1. iPod
    2. iTunes
    3. Hello
    4. Common Apple
    5. QuickTime

Follow these steps if the message "cannot delete iPodService.exe: it is used by another person or program" appears when you try to delete the folder of the iPod.

    1. Make sure that you have iTunes and iPod Update utility are not open.
    2. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
    3. Select Start Task Manager.
    4. Click the processes tab.
    5. Locate the iPodService.exe in the list.
    6. IPodService.exe-click and choose end process.
    7. Quit Task Manager.

    Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".

If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab
Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OK

Once this file is empty, restart the computer

NOTE: If you have trouble uninstalling applications, or if you have a problem, reinstall iTunes because the installer complains that it can not uninstall the current version of iTunes, see the 'Installation issues' section below.

Download & reinstall iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

    Installation problems

There are several tools to deal with problems installing or uninstalling applications.  If you have these problems, the following should help.  Before using one of these tools (including #3), you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT).  See http://windowsxp.mvps.org/registry.htm a complete disk image would be safer if you have this ability.

1 Microsoft has a program install and the resolution of the problems of the uninstalling which is supposed to "work better" and be "safer" to use the old Install Cleanup Utility (3 below).

    2. free Revo Uninstaller.  You can also download a trial version of uninstaller Revo's ' Pro', which has a few more aggressive cleaning options, but this should not be necessary.

3 Microsoft Windows Install Cleanup Utility.  Although this tool has been the preferred tool to deal with the problems of Windows Installer, Microsoft removed from Microsoft download servers because it seems sometimes deleted more than he was supposed to (I believe this was linked to Office uninstall).  You can still get Windows Installer Cleanup here--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html utility

  • Calendar invites

Hi, I share a calendar on my iPhone, the iPad and the macbook.  However, I seem to have problems with my iPhone when I send a calendar invitation.  For some reason, I can't go back in and change it.  So if I need to update and only have my iPhone on me I have to delete and then send a new invitation to calendar.     Yet, I can change it on my macbook.

    Why is this?

    Any help appreciated

    Greetings cb200732,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that you share a calendar on your devices, and you cannot edit an invitation of calendar on your iPhone. You can change the invitation of calendar on your MacBook. So, the question seems to be isolated to just the iPhone. Certainly, I know how it is important to ensure that you can use your calendar without any problems during the use of any shared device. I'm happy to help you find the best resolution for this problem.

First, close all applications on your iPhone, including the calendar app. Article force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will help you, in particular, this section:

    Force close an app

When you double-click the Home button, your recently used applications are displayed. Applications are not open, but they are on standby to help you navigate and multitask. You shouldn't force an app to close only when it does not.

Here's how to force an application to close.

    Discover your open apps

Double-click on the button Home to show your last used apps.

Search for the app to close

Drag to the right or to the left to find the application you want to close.

    Slide up to close

Swipe up on the preview of the application to close the application.

Once you have close all applications, please use the following article and give your iPhone a fresh reboot:

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

After you close all applications and restart, see if you get the same result when you change a calendar invitation on your iPhone.

    Best regards.

  • How to invite people to an event calendar with the new iOS 10?

Before I updated to iOS of 10, I was able to create a calendar event with the apple iPhone built-in calendar and there is an option to 'invite' contacts him so they could add to their calendar. I can't find this option now after the new update. Where and how can I do this?

Invite others to an event. You can invite people to an event, even if you're not the one who, on demand with Exchange and some other servers. Press an event, press on modify, then on the guests. Type the names, or tap to select the people to contact. If you don't want to be notified when someone refuses a meeting, go to settings > calendar, then disable view guest declines.

    Hi SyedJ,

Usually, this can happen if the registry for outlook is changed.

Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, see the link below.

    Back up the registry
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/back-up-the-registry

To enable the ForceFormReload registry key functionality, follow these steps:

    1. start the registry editor click Start menu and typeregedit and press enter
    2. click on the following key in the registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook
    3. on the Edit menu, click add value, and then add the following registry value
    4 value: ForceFormReload
    5. the value data: Reg_Dword
    6. the value of data: 1
    7. Quit registry

If questioning him above step fails, they try to post you in the forums, office and outlook.

  • Why the clock on my calendar seems to be working at the time of the West Coast, while my ThunderBird is defined and works well at the time of the coast is?

    Ladies and gentlemen:

I recently started using Calendar add-on to Thunderbird. My test event entered okay. But, my invite showed up on my colleague's PC with meeting time 3 hours late. That is, my meeting time is 11:00 Eastern time. But, he got the time as 14:00 which was 11:00 West coast time. I checked my "Calendar" tab view. There is a tell-tale sign that a red horizontal line that appears to follow my PC's real time clock but lagging 3 hours behind. So far, I could not find how to synchronize them.

My PC was used on the West coast for several years before I brought it to the East coast a few months ago. Since then, my Thunderbird appears to run fine with the clock setting changed to the East coast time zone. Could there be any kind of memory somewhere that took my numerical 11:00, but recorded it by tagging as a West coast time zone entry?

    Abe (2015-10-11 11:54)

Make sure that you do not have the correct time zone set lightning (calendar).

In the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button > Options > Options > calendar > general tab > zone

  • Calendar quarter don't mirror calendar on iPhone

I have the calendar in my set shows mirrored the calendar app on my iPhone. After the first synchronization of my iPhone with the calendar on the watch watch looked the same as the iPhone. However, I wanted to only 2 of my 7 calendars iCloud from the iPhone on the watch. I have a Google calendar on my iPhone and this calendar has been constantly mirrored on my watch through each of the actions below I've tried to get my iCloud calendars that are on my iPhone to my watch in the mirror. Things I did to try to solve this problem:

    1. stop the other 5 calendars to iCloud on the iPhone calendar application and now only 2 remain visible on the phone. However, my watch showed yet all 7 calendars.

    2. turn off calendars under the iCloud settings on my iPhone that caused all the events disappear from the iPhone and Apple Watch. I then turned on calendars back in iCloud parameters and all 7 reappeared on the iPhone but NONE ever appeared on the Apple Watch calendars.

    3. unmatched Apple Watch of the iPhone. Made sure both iCloud calendars I wanted were selected in the iPhone calendar app, then repaired the watch. No calendar iCloud presented themselves.

    4. restarted (Powered off and on again) iPhone and Apple Watch but I don't always get no timetable to iCloud.

I noticed that Fantastical on the watch also shows me the same thing that I see on the calendar for the watch application. Curiously, when I launched Fantastical on the watch, he briefly showed real iCloud calendars that I set to show in Fantastical on my iPhone, then they disappeared only to show the same thing I see on the shows the calendar, i.e. no iCloud application but it shows Google Calendar I configured to display in Fantastical as well as of the calendar on the iPhone application. A little funny calendars that Google are working correctly on my Apple Watch but Apple iCloud calendars are not. And of humor, I mean boring.

How can I get the calendars on my Apple Watch to really mirror what's on the iPhone?

    Hi Joshua

Apple Watch shows events for all of the calendars that you use on your iPhone. It shows the events you have planned or have been invited in for today and next week. You can also see the days of the month as a full month calendar view.

It is not currently possible to configure the calendar application on your watch such that show calendars events specified. Hide / display of calendars in the calendar on your iPhone app determines only whether or not these calendars are hidden on your iPhone. It does not determine whether or not their events are shared with Apple Watch.

Similarly, the option of shared calendar in the app alerts shows on iPhone only determines if you get alerts on changes that are made to shared calendars. It does not determine whether or not the events of shared calendars are listed on Apple Watch (they always).

If the calendar app is syncing is more events to your watch, try to reset the sync data:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: Watch My > General > reset > press reset sync data.

-Nothing seems to be happening, but the process is running in the background / invisible to the user, allow a minute or two.

Also check your settings. For example:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: Watch My > calendar > you wish to choose custom and to allow each of the associated parameters.

So, it can also help to restart your iPhone and your watch. Turn both devices off first, and then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:

-To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; Drag the slider to turn off.

-To reactivate: press and hold the side button until you see the logo.

If you want to suggest that Apple consider adding additional features to the calendar on Apple Watch application, you can do so here:

-All submissions are read (even if you do not expect to receive a response).

  • iOS problem 10 Exchange calendar sync

iOS 10 has introduced a bug that causes a problem with Exchange Calendar synchronization. I use an iPhone 5 and an Air iPad with iOS 10.0.2 on both. My employer provides a shared with Office 365 Exchange calendar. I use Outlook 2013 on a Windows 7 laptop. Since I upgraded my iPhone & iPad iOS 10 I met a problem with syncing my calendar. More specifically, when I delete a single instance of a recurring event from my iPhone or iPad, change syncs not on the server and do not appear on my other devices. There is no problem if I remove Outlook on my laptop. I use recurring reminders throughout the day as "to-do's" so not being is not able to remove them from the device is a problem for me.

Based on something I saw in another form, I tried disabling the button "Events found in Apps" in the settings on my iPhone and iPad and then deactivation and reactivation of the Exchange Calendar synchronization. This has not solved the problem.

Is there a fix or a workaround for this problem? If not, does anyone know how I can report it to Apple on the off chance they might care enough to solve the problem?

I have exactly the same problem. Items on my exchange calendar are endangered on my iPhone which is a major issue since I use my phone as my reminder of the main calendar to be in the right place at the right time. This is a serious problem for me. I tried to delete and add the calendar back, putting my phone on and off, nothing works. Now I have even less showing appointments, it is as if he deleted all. I am extremely frustrated.
