  My computer continues to change the provision of workstations, monitors and funds from time to time. I have three monitors with different characteristics (a 4 K, two 1920 x 1200, attached to a MacPro (a mini DP, a HDMI and VGA adapter).)   "What Windows are on which screens" changes when the screens are not available. The reasoning is, if a view is not available, its windows are moved (usually at the main display) so that at least part of every open window is displayed on this screen to work, so that it can be manipulated, and the window is not "lost". (I haven't looked in the bottom of the screen how you treat.)

  From your description, I conclude that at some point, your Mac has decided that some screens are "unavailable". It is a problem almost no resolved with poster several high-tech on the Mac Pro entries.

  So I recently bought an Apple MacBook air for my final year of University. We have weekly presentations and I was wondering if it is possible to presentations of casting, or still the MacBook (mirror to detect) screen on your windows desktop, as it is the operating system they have in the classes. I know that it is possible using a smart TV, but everything we have in the classes are the windows on desktop computer connected to a projector.

  Keynote can export a presentation in PowerPoint format for use on a Windows PC. I've used this for years when I was still in my presentations.

  If you move the cable from the projector from the PC to your Mac which should allow you to make the presentation directly from Keynote on your Mac.

• Projector not recognized in El Capitan

  My projector is not recognized by El Capitan.  I have tried on 3 laptops running El Capitan and it either blocks the laptop, or it does not recognize it.  I tried to reset the SMC, and I tried now the Option key pressed to get the option detect screens in the settings.  I finally plugged the projector to an MBA Yosemite running and it works fine.  Any ideas?

  I can not yet use a projector with El Capitan.  I have reset the SMC, and who did nothing.  I tried 3 cables all work with Yosemite.  Nothing.  That is what it is?

  I recently bought a DisplayPort to HDMI Cable to connect my laptop (with the DisplayPort) on my HDTV (with HDMI port). When I have them hooked up and extended my screen on tv, everything went well in the beginning. The operating system showed my office on tv exactly as I expected. However, when I moved one of my windows above (Google Chrome to be precise) from my laptop to the TV, the size of the window to expand. Immediately, I thought it was a problem of resolution so I opened the AMD Catalyst Control Center to check the settings on my TV. He said that the format is standard 1080 p 60 (1920x1080@60Hz), exactly what I thought it should be. Then I noticed that when I go to detect screens and click on identify, the 2 big which is supposed to appear right in the middle of the screen appeared in the lower right of the screen. On this basis, I determined that the problem must be that my graphics card think my tv screen is bigger than it actually is. The first thing I did after has been updated of my Chipset drivers and graphics, but which has no effect. After the search of all the nooks and crannies of the Catalyst Control Center and try to find someone else on the internet with this specific problem, I couldn't find any way to get my windows to the right size and get 2 (from by clicking the button all identify) to appear in the center of the screen where it is supposed to be.

  Some additional notes:

  • In the screen resolution of Microsoft menu in the Control Panel, clicking on identify with my puts selected tv 2 in the Center where it should be, is only to Catalyst Control Center who gets hurt.
  • I tried using a different TV, but he had the same problem.
  • When I connect my laptop to my tv via a VGA cable, everything seems fine and has the correct size. (My VGA cable is only a few feet, so I have to buy a longer in order to to use;) I try to avoid this. And honestly, an HDMI DisplayPort connection / should work better than a VGA connection, anyway.)

  If you have any ideas on how to fix this or if you would like more information, please let me know.

  I tried to get help from my friend with this and at one point during our investigation, we hung his laptop to the TV using a mini-hdmi to hdmi cable. We found that he had the same problem of sizing as me which begs the question, is simply how the hdmi connections are supposed to work? If so, it is very annoying and I expect there to be a setting somewhere to turn it off, but I can't seem to find it.

  Well, I thought that the problem, and honestly I'm pretty embarrassed that I didn't understand it sooner. In the resolution of the screen control panel screen there is a link written as 'Make text and other items more or less '. That takes you to a page that has a setting for the size of all the items on the desktop with 3 smaller averages, options and more. Normally, I have this game to kids, but for some reason my DisplayPort output was the default setting of the support. I changed it to smaller and now everything looks the way I expect to. Hooray!

• DeskJet 3510 questions - wireless and Firmware

  CZ044A printer Deskjet 3510.  8 64-bit Windows. Used the downloaded software install Version 28.8.

  Can connect without wireless or USB with no problems.

  1. impossible to install the HP firmware update recommended.  Tried different downloads, etc. but each program runs, the "Problem detected" screen appears and stops the installation.  He tells me to correct the problem, and then try again.  There is no problem I can find.

  2. whenever I restart the computer, the printer without wireless or USB connection is lost.  The icon becomes "gray" devices & Printers.  I tried diagnoses of HP who finds lost communication.  I have remove the device and then reinstall the printer and all is well again until I restart.  This happens with the wireless connection as USB.  In wireless mode, the printer is connected to my router, or if the display shows.

  BIOS Dell XPS8300 A03 8 GB win 7 home Prem recently installed Samsung 840evo using their cloned migration software my system on the ssd. Works great, best upgrade I've ever done. Tried to add a 3to int sata seagate to port 1 to maintain 6gbs of data only. Tried using disk of window then seagates Assistant tools disk management for formatting in the TC as a simple volume. When formatting two ways BSOD received after restarting the player present themselves as a 2790 GB drive but right-clicking in responsible Disk Error Message received: "the operation failed because the disk management console view is not up to date. Refresh the view by using the refresh task. " If the problem persists, close the disk management console, and then restart disk management or restart the computer"

  Could get in shape with a sata docking station usb with my asus laptop win 7. completed end and readable, then tried to install it with well-known sata and XPS power cable. Would not boot disk, disconnected, and it started late.

  The full Dell diagnostics ran with nothing else succeeded not only blue detect screen but after 30 minutes the client diagnosis of Dell is still underway and seems stuck.
  

  All suggestions experience anything similar and possible. Spent a lot of time on the phone with seagate support but once the laptop was able to successfully form the 3 TB essentially put the blame on the XPS

  No problem, those who may be useful details.

  I would try upgrading the BIOS. It can't hurt. I would also try this version of the Intel RST. It is more recent than what Dell provides.

  As with all updates, do them one at a time, and then check the results. The best way to install a BIOS update is with a USB bootable, rather than inside Windows.

• Inspiron 5720 Blue tooth audio problem

  I tried two different audio devices to connect to my 5720, the most recent being a TDK Sound Cube V513. The device is installed, but there is no playing audio through the cube.

  I could send sticking to my cell phone and my blue tooth mouse works fine.

  Ask you to try following the underside of measures that could help:

  1. click on start

  (2) system in the search box and press on enter.

  (3) in the Device Manager, Bluetooth radio detection screen.

  (4) then right-click on Bluetooth, then uninstall it.

  Note: If Bluetooth is not here then there may be under other devices with a yellow exclamation point, which means that the driver must be installed correctly so uninstall isn't necessary

  (5) now you can use the link and update drivers Bluetooth:

  Select the right operating system and download Bluetooth drivers under the network tab according to the type of wireless card.

• Dynadock U3.0 has not detected 2nd screen to help to win 8

  I don't want to return this product, but if I can't solve this problem I don't have many choices.

  I have Windows 8 Preview of consumer and Dynadock U3.0

  The mouse and keyboard work fine. The second screen was working fine for a few days, but suddenly stopped working after having to reboot my system.

  I have install the driver of Windows 8 Beta. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, but this does not resolve the issue. My computer does not recognize the USB cable is connected to the computer is the dynadock. The Dynadock screen icon does not appear automatically.

  In view > resolution of the screen, my computer does not detect that a second screen is plugged.

  If I plug the screen directly into my computer, it works fine.

  When I try to install the driver while he is already installed, a message appears saying 'DisplayLink DisplayLink Graphics Software is already up-to-date.

  I tried to restart and re - plug in the USB. Nothing has worked yet.

• I have recently in the last 24 hours, updated my OS to 10.11.3. The problem I have is that it no longer recognizes my second monitor. When I go into my poster in system preferences there is no detection monitor botton to press as shown in the help screen.

  I upgraded today to win 8.1 to Win10. My T450 has a second screen (Dell, about 5-6 years) connected via a docking station Thinkpad USB. Second screen worked well under 8.1, but now it is not detected. I've improved the display drivers (graphics are Intel 5500) and Bios but no joy so far.

  N - trig drivers with windows vista there is an option where you could choose the option to disable the pen touch when input side of the screen.  This feature is no longer available when I installed the new drivers of the n-trig in win7.

  I use my Tablet for taking notes. But with dual mode that detects an entry where I rest my Palm on the screen to write. Whenever I have to go and disable the Enter key completely before starting to write and turn once I finished it.

  For the life of me I can't figure out how to get my machine to boot successfully. Nothing changes when I choose Safe Mode, last known good Configuration, enable VGA Mode, booting, Directory Services Restore Mode or Debug Mode logging.

  It's very stressful, because I'm right smack dab in the Middle a semester at the College. I have most of what I currently need access to supported illuminates... but not quite all :( It is also very reassuring to be able to take care of the school of work away from the library of the University. Yesterday, my computer was working fine... I think that Windows has completed an update, if I can't remember now. As I woke up this morning, I was not able to boot all the way to Windows only once.

  My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6000 running XP Media Center, and I have not installed new hardware since I bought the machine about 3 years ago.

  Here are more details, where they can help in the diagnosis of my problem:

  • Type of processor: Genuine Intel(r) CPU T2250
  • Processor speed: 1730 MHz
  • Total memory: 1024 MB

  I also learned to a blue screen that says something about "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA". I think that this happens when I try to start safe mode.

  Also, I never did much with computer problems beyond what could be repaired with the restoration of the system... so not being is not able to boot at all me has to stop. Please, I beg you! Help me?!

  Quick suggestion

  Some HP partition the hard drive. have you tried to type F11 or F12 during startup (before that he go to the option mode start screen)? It might take you for a HP recovery program in that partition (because windows don't be loading not to use that recovery)
