  I just upgraded 10 IOS on my IPad Mini 4 and I can find a way to close or switch to the applications that are running in the background.  When I double tap on the Home button, it just put me back to the homescreen of IOS 10.  I no longer see the applications that are running on my IPad.  I can't switch between apps or apps close apps.  My Home button seems to work for everything, but not with their closing or switching applications.

  Yes, you can continue to use your MBP as long as an external monitor, keyboard, mouse/trackpad are connected.  No problem at all.  Use it as usual.  A lot of use do this every day.  LPX will be fine.  Just be sure to save your work before you leave, before switch to "standby" mode.

• Mac Air drains almost zero during the night when the laptop is closed.

  Thanks for the reply... still not sure what happened, but I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling bird t. Everything is back to normal after that. So your solution can work, but I don't have the chance to try it. My solution, but is not ideal, was effective and the problem was solved.

  Could you describe the problem a little more in detail? The crash report said that there is a 'blocking' in the version of the Flash plugin. A Firefox also closed completely?

  The crash report has different extensions enabled (Gmail, Lightshot, Bugzilla Tweaks warning system) from the list in your post (see Question details > more details of the system). That looks good to you?

  It is a standard orientation which addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

  (1) If you have any recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

  (2) disable hardware acceleration in Flash: right click on the media in the drive and click on settings, then the first mini tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration.

  The functionality of the safe_mode of the Flash player plugin has security benefits, but there seem to be some compatibility issues on some systems. You can disable it using the page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. On the right side, find 'Shockwave Flash' and click on the link for more. Then uncheck the box for "Enable Adobe Flash protected mode" and try it for a day to see if that helps you.
