  Canon does not support that particular product under Windows 7 x 64.

  I found that many new computer Windows 8.1 come pre-loaded with McAfee, is the Anit-Virus on your computer? If so, disable it, and then try to install the software. I had good results with this step in the past.

  I've recently updated to 8 of the window. I have 2300 d printer LaserJet. The original driver of the printer was PCL 5 which allow the capablity to print automatically on both sides of a page. Windows are and to upgrade the driver to a PCL 6. This allows only printing Manual on both sides of the page. I reload the driver PCL 5. but it now allows only for print Manual on both sides.   I can install the printer and everything seems fine but when I print I get the message "file print".

  Looks like the copy of file is set as default.  Start devices and printers and when 'see you' the Konica, right-click on it and select set as default.  Now, go into Word (or you want to print from), open the document/photo etc and select file, print (rather than using the print in the toolbar icon) and make sure that you set such as printing on the Konica.

  Have you tried right-clicking on the exe of the Minolta and then selecting run as administrator?

  There is unfortunately no way to use the driver on 64-bit Windows. You will need to use the 32-bit operating system to use the Spartans drivers. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  Found this tip on another post:

  «If you install a new printer via Control Panel and select a driver on the list provided with Windows printer driver (an update may be required), install the driver for the 1050c by HP Designjet.»

  This allows you to print perfectly on a Designjet 2500 on new operating systems such that it has the same dimensions of printing and the printing process. The computer will list you as having a 1050c and not a 2500, but it is not really so important that it works.

  It took me some time to do the things as I went through all the drivers plotter HP in order to get my 2500 to work.

  So in short, you don't need 2500 driver, just install the driver for the 1050C (which is a new printer and still supported) and it will work perfectly. Hope this helps.

  I found the problem.  My coil was not managed properly; This is the reason why the file wouldn't install.  So I decided, Konica, it is the right file. The PDF file is misleading.
