No incoming Audio

My Skype comes automatically upgrade my Vista version 7.29.64.102 machine. There is no audio signal coming on a call to or from a contact or a Skype test call. My speakers are working properly. Everything was operational before the update. Any thoughts?

Problem solved. For some reason, the update of Skype set the Skype volume slider in the mixer from Volume 0. I have reset to 50%, and the Skype test call read perfectly.

Incoming audio levels can be adjusted for digital video capture in Premiere Pro?  Or is the audio in digital images a fixed entity that cannot be adjusted once it is imported into an editing software?  Recently, I have captured 14 hours the Strip that constantly weak but usable audio levels.  I couldn't see a way to set audio levels in the capture Panel, so I just left with just the default settings.

It is possible that the lessee of his experience on the production has been conservative with its levels; they constantly peaking at nearly 9 meters of first, instead of more desirable 12.  But because they are so compatible, I wonder if I missed an option to set audio capture of levels when I did the band.

  • Audio Fadin incoming and outgoing, but the video quality remains high.

Hello. I am regularly skyping someone, but the incoming audio signal began fade in and out and sometimes mute altogether. The video quality is very good and she can still hear and see me OK. The volume for Skype and everything else is wound up to the maximum. I tried skyping someone else and the problem was not present.

I do not understand how the audio quality that I can fade, but the video quality does not change. I would have thought if they had problems of band bandwidth then the video would have refused and the Lady, I'm not talking would receive me in this good quality either.

Is anyone know something about this problem and a possible solution?

    Thank you

Hello. In the case where someone comes across it because they have the same or similar problem I found the solution. It turns out, somehow, that the volume of my microphone had been wound up to the maximum. Because Skype reduces the audio signal entering when you make noise, the person I was calling I couldn't hear because I was broadcasting involuntarily every tiny noise. This interrupts my incoming audio. For some reason I have the microphone picks up a ridiculous level of background noise. Only, I discovered this after a test of back to back with my mother's laptop. To stop the problem I just wrapped up my microphone volume down in audio on Skype settings until there no sign up tapping or other noises. So I send you not now sounds that would hurt my incoming audio. It also explains how the Lady I was calling could still hear me fine and the quality of the video never abandoned, but the audio signal coming at my end was.

  • Crackling with Thunderbolt resident Audio interface

    Hello

I just bought a new Macbook Pro 15 inch retina, installed with El Capitan 10.11.4 and Logic Pro X, with a new interface reside Audio T4 Thunderbolt, and there is a cracking and sound distortion, crossing the input string. The output is very good. Sometimes the crackling can range from 30 minutes without past and other times it is constant. Unplug and plug cable Thunderbolt and change the port, it can do a little better or worse elsewhere. The crackling and distortion has also nothing to do with the entry levels. I tried:

    • Replace all cables (audio, stroke, etc.).
    • Disconnect other USB devices and even the power of the computer agreement. Also unplugged all other cables, including lunch, from the interface.
    • Purchase of an ALL-NEW resident Audio T4 interface, thinking the problem was inside the unit. It wasn't.
    • Update, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers to interface
    • Turn off the Thunderbolt bridge under 'network '.
    • Make sure bit depth was the same on the interface and macbook

I read on other musicians recording in trouble with DAWs and interfaces after the upgrade of the El Capitan, but not with this problem. This is my first time to go from a mac to a PC and am quite impressed so far. I'm grateful for any help.

For me, when crackle happens "at any time", it is a good indication of low buffer I/O.

Open CMD-comma logic preferences and click the "Audio" tab at the top. Then, make sure that you are on the "Devices" menu Input and output device are your interface. And nothing below your IO buffer size. try increasing this value to 128, 256, 512 and so on. In other words, the buffer is a small part of the memory where the incoming audio stream is buffered and the CPU can perform any processing required on this subject. If the CPU can't get enough data quickly enough, it starts to sizzle. More a buffer gives the CPU more time to perform a treatment. Usually, this is the case for systems with many things, for example, dozens of simultaneous tracks with many plugins active or slow systems. However, this is not the case for your new, shiny things unless you really have dozens of titles and many plugins per track. Or all of a sudden some background process kicks in and use the time processor and disk, such as a Time Machine backup and others.

Make sure you plugged your audio interface directly to the Mac, not a hub or something. This introduces a latency and the buffer drains faster.

    Give it a try.

  • Mac Pro (early 2009) Analog Audio Line-in for Airplay?

I have a stereo receiver and the turntable connected to my Mac via the analog line in port. The incoming audio signal is visible in the input Audio Pref Pane.

Is it possible to listen to this audio on Mac?

Is there a way that audio to device Airplay (specifically an Apple TV)?

  • I hear no audio coming from any live chat

I hear no incoming audio signal either Yahoo Messenger of Facebook chat. I CAN hear audio from YouTube and other web sites not living. This setting prevents this?

Check your volume levels in both the application and in the Windows mixer. Check mixer AFTER an event where you are supposed to hear the sound (such as after a message is received).

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/adjust-the-sound-level-on-your-computer

Also, if this only affects websites and you use Internet Explorer, make sure sounds are enabled Web pages:
    Open Internet Explorer
Click on tools / Cog button and select Internet Options.
Go to the Advanced tab and in the list of options in the multimedia section, make sure that there is a checkbox next to sounds in Web pages, and then click OK and test.

  • No available on don't Aspire X 39990 Audio input device

I use Adobe Audition and when I tried (for the 1st time) to record speech from the internet it says "Default Input (no device available). Is there something that does not work or I have to download something that I could record from the internet on all the other machines of Acer I've had.

I looked on all available inputs and can not see anything obvious

Thanks a lot for your help

Unfortunately, we are unable to support Adobe Audition, then I wouldn't be able to speak directly to this software configuration.

I suggest only to define the input as your sound card device, since you have incoming audio from the ' net.

  • Want TS M7: Card its not detected

My Skype can't detect a sound card. I have no problem reading audio, but I can't use my built-in microphones or any other mic. My computer can find all the microphones, I have a range of turtle implemented right now, and it can be found. The problem is that there is no incoming audio signal. I know that this microphone works because I used it on other game systems and laptops without problem. Do I need a driver? If so, does anyone know where I can find one?

I found the problem. My sound card has been disabled. In fact, many drivers had been disabled. Do not know how. In any case, I would mark it resolved but I have not figured out how yet, haha.

  • complete meter but no sound on the line and microphone Vista 64-bit

Good afternoon. I'm so tired of having to buy expensive USB audio devices to get anything to work on this PC. I have HP Pavilion with Vista Home Premium and core quad processor.  What is happening, it's the bars in the meter go all the way to the top as if there is an incoming audio signal but no sound goes in. I've updated my drivers and still nothing. Hellppp! Any ideas, please let me know.

    Hello

I would suggest trying the following steps and check:

    a. Click Start, open Control Panel.

    b. click sounds, click the recording tab.

    c. click microphone, and then click Properties.

    d. under the controller information, check if the correct sound card is selected.

    e. click on the advance tab, under exclusive mode uncheck both boxes.

    f. click on apply, then ok.

    Check if it helps.

    It will be useful.

  • Need serious help. New 8831 phones problems.

Thank you in advance for helping with this.

I pulled out recently of new 8831 conference phones to replace my old phones 7937 spider, unfortunately phones know terrible incoming audio. Phones are on a branch site, connected via MPLS and registered at 8.6 CUCM to Headquarters. We have a total of 900 7940 phones that have no problems in any of the different location and band bandwidth/congestion is not a problem. The audio input signal poor that happens to every call. Audio output is fine. 8831 phones are having the same issues at several sites of the branch, but seems more predominant in some. The question has been described as 'audio static, choppy, distorted, with a few breaks.

I tested with G.729 and G.711 without some luck, after using the web interface to enter stats here, this is what they look like:

As you can see that the MOS is pretty bad, jitter and ignored packets seem to be bad too. Intrasite tests have resulted in better looking for numbers. Initially, I immediately thought "QoS" but all other phones are fine and the problem is with audio INCOMING do not outgoing.

All comments on this are appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

As you can see receiver lost packets number is very high, which will cause audio choppy. Looks like you face below default

    https://Tools.Cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuq03746

Also can ensure you codec used is g729r8 not g729br8. g729br8 has integrated VAD have so it will drop some packets. Also disable VAD in any voip dial peer by using the command "no vad.

    Kind regards

  • SoundChannel SOUND_COMPLETE not been fired when it is called SoundChannel.stop ()...

    Hi all...

I write code that is an audio player. I use streaming (event SAMPLE_DATA) API to push the audio data.

It works very well, and I get a SOUND_COMPLETE event when there are no more acoustic.

However, if I run the function SoundChannel.stop () (in response to a 'pause' button on the screen), the sound stops, but no SOUND_COMPLETE event is generated.

Is this as expected?  It seems strange to me that a SOUND_COMPLETE event would come only when the incoming audio data have been exhausted, but not when the stop() method is called.

Does anyone have experience with these access points?  I couldn't find a solution anywhere I searched so far...

    -Tim

in fact, I do see a satisfactory means to do this because the soundchannel class is final and cannot be extended (without hacking the soundchannel class).

IMO, that followed the obvious way is best.  That is to say, you know what stop() is applied do or call no matter when it happens.

  • How to solve my problem with the microphone?-it does not work normally (his jerky) after application of the reductions of noise/restrictions

Hi il. I recently installed Adobe Audition7.2 on my windows 8.1 and I noticed the button sound recording from the microphone inside the program is disabled while at the same time, I could record using other programs on my windows. I worked with my AU and eliminate the background of an old audio recorded sample. ((mon micro intégré est donc bruyant) noise) I chose a very noisy place and crossed the effect / noise noise reduction of the restrictions/print capture. And then I went through effect / restrictions/noise reduction noise reduction process and apply the settings. Although it works and my sample file has improved (without noise), I encountered another problem, my mic does not work normally both in AU and other windows software. The recorded sound now go offshore and (rough) while recording. How can I solve the problem?

I also followed the instructions on this link https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1546014?start=0 & tstart = 0 and installed ASIO4ALL... but this isn't work, the program may not work correctly for me.

    Thank you for your attention.

If your microphone is sounding restless that you save (rather), there is problem on your Windows sound settings. As Steve G suggested it sounds like a form of blocking to reduce the noise. I don't know if this is an effect that Windows 8.1 can do to the incoming audio signal. If you find a way to turn it off.

  • After the use of helmet - no sound

Everyone knows who after the use of the helmet, when it came out it is not through the speakers of Treo 680?

I couldn't hear the phone ringing, incoming audio or ringtones playing. System sounds (beeps, etc.) seems to work. I have reinserted the helmet along with the helmet. I tried jiggling the plug and at the end of a few moments, has been able to recover the loudspeaker.

There is a small switch inside the plug on your device, sometimes when a headphone is inserted and then picked up on this switch is not back to external sound more. The resolution is simply re - insert the plug and remove a few times to get the changeover to folding and the sound should return.

  • Trying to record several tracks at once with mixer (two microphones)

I have an Alesis Multimix 4 and two microphones plugged into the mic 1 and the two mic inputs.  I am trying to record both at the same time, in two separate ways.  I put Device Class on ASIO in the section hardware Audio and delected ASIO4ALL v2 for the device.  My mixing table (I guess) appears as CODEC audio USB in the ASIO4ALL settings.  When I return to my multitrack setting, I gives me four options for the incoming audio signal:

    Audio Front Mic Input 1

    Audio Front Mic Input 2

    USB Audio CODEC 1

    Codec USB Audio 2

No matter what combination I try, when I record, the two tracks pick up the two microphones.  My goal is to isolate the two, so I can apply different settings to both titles later, adjust the mix etc...   Audio only comes when I take the USB Audio option.  Thanks in advance.

    Brett

I think you have the right driver selected, otherwise there Wouln't work not at all. The most obvious thing to ask you if (I'm sorry if this is too basic) is where you have the pan value orders? For each microphone to record on one channel, you will need to have a panned far left and the other right hard panned. If you let the two dead panned Center, that's exactly what you get - the two microphones on both channels.
