• Lightroom for Mac v5. Olympus Stylus 1. ORF for new files appearing does not in Lightroom & old. Files of the ORF in gray.

  Lightroom for Mac v5.  I recently transferred my photos from a disc to another larger disk.  Since then, using the same catalog, I found the new location and all files seem to be OK, with the exception of my Olympus Stylus 1. ORF files.

  Have several new records of Nikon NEF files as well as files of the ORF.  Files Nikon encountered no problem, but not the Olympus.  I have updates.  I tried to sync several times, but no luck.

  I know that my Olympus is supported because he has worked since 2014.  The older files always contain the FRO files, but non of them are visible in Lightroom, they are just greyed out.  Any suggestions?

  Files already imported into LR will be greyed out if you try to import them, once again.  To confirm that this is the issue, temporarily uncheck don't Import suspected duplicates to the right of the Import Panel and see if the pictures become active.  If so, then they are duplicates of photos already in the catalog also.  Since you moved just your photos to a new location perhaps some left me another place that is not obvious.  You should be able to do a text search in the filter bar (use------mentioned) in the library for the file name of the missing photos to find where LR always think that they are in your catalog.

  DO NOT IMPORT THEM AGAIN with don't Import suspected duplicates off.  The way to fix things is to reactivate the import is not suspected duplicates, cancel import, find photos in your catalog by using a search text, right-click on it and choose locate missing photos and click on to the new location.

• Windows 7 disk 100% for new files created recently

  Problem: I noticed that when new files are created on the computer the 'System' process reacts, usually a day later (date of arrival) by analyzing these files consume 100% of the disk IO and slow down the whole computer.  I develop software applications of scale with my computer so builds and release new records will create a large number of files.  The high disk activity can sometimes take 2 hours before it slows down.

  Things, I already checked: I have already concluded that this isn't the search indexer.  This isn't the Symantec anti-virus software, I installed.

  Computer details:  CORE I5, 8 GB of RAM, operating system Windows 7, Dell Latitude drive, is BitLockered

  E/s disk Details:

  Process - system

  Activity - seems to be scheduled to run in the morning

  Trigger - seems to be new files created previous day analysis

  Files with most of the activity of writing during this process-

  C:\$MFT (NTSF Master File Table),

  C:\$logfile (Journal of NTFS Volume).

  C:\pagefile.sys (swap file),

  Please let me know if this is something that I can regulate or if there are configuration that would allow me to have certain files ignored.

• ICloud can save new files iPhone only?

  I recently had an iPhone and uploaded photos from all the previous ones of my phone. These files are already saved and I want to stay on the iPhone, because the phone has a lot of memory (I do not need them in iCloud).

  Now I take new pictures/videos on the iPhone I want save with iCloud but contributed to the maximum my space free iCloud because the old output files. If I delete an old photo from iCloud, it removes also off the coast of the iPhone.

  Is anyway not upload the old photos to iCloud so there is storage space for new files? I do not want to buy more space iCloud and would rather download new photos on the computer manually if there is no work around. Thank you!

  I highly recommend investing a few weeks in learning C++ before learning the stunts. Specifically, these topics:
  -Advance declaring types
  -Memory management
  -Classes & inheritance (different from Java, a lot)
  -Life management object qt (parent/child, order of destruction of object relationship)

  These are essential, but we can't really help with them in the form of forum.

  On the compile error, this should probably fix:

  But there are other problems in the statement of homepage. It's the manufacturer probably shouldn't take an instance of class ApplicationUI as the parameter.

  The camera you have is compatible with the latest version of Lightroom, which is Lightroom 6/CC.

  Please see the list of the camera supported by Lightroom: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

  You can use the DNG Converter, converts images and then import them into DNG in Lightroom.

  Defined for your NavigationPane ObjectName

  When I start a new file A4 or A3 - it does not show the entire layout is missing the upper edge (see attached screenshot).

  I restarted the program and the computer - no luck!

  I'm starting a new file in InDesign and options are 'Document', 'Book', ' ' model of Document 'and 'Library'.

  I am interested in writing a book, so, naturally, I want to click on "book".  The problem is when I click on 'Book', nothing comes really.  First he asks me to make up a file name (as in the registration of a copy of an empty file before you start, I guess).  Besides, the only thing that happens is that an about 3 x 4 inches screen comes up with nothing on it.  However, when I choose 'Document', he first asks me all the page layout specifications and opens a blank page, I can start typing on and manipulate as I want.  The problem is that I want to write a book, I think that I should of course use 'Book' and not 'Document '.   Does anyone have any idea on this?

  For InDesign, a 'book' is a collection of individual documents that will be assembled in a single out composition. In your case, you can choose to make a book of individual files for each chapter, foreplay, index pages, etc, but you can do a whole book in a single document file if you prefer.

  The method of 'Book' advantages are ease of organization and smaller pieces to scroll, the ability to use the same documents in more of a 'book' and security - the chances of losing all this are lower if the disaster occurs so you can liquidate only repeat a chapter instead of 1000 pages. However, it is less practical in many cases, the size and personal taste will also be final determinants.

  In all cases, you must start with a new document at the beginning. You can add it to a book later.
