Hey there Mac5321,
You can connect any monitor to this port? The port on the GPU works at all? Have you tried another port VGA, HDMI or other available to connect to any monitor at all? The computer worked before?
I try to reset the BIOS to its default settings and retry the system if it will bring an image to any monitor. The fault may be in the GPU or motherboard not providing the connection appropriate for video output. Is the computer works properly, the fans spinning, initial POST beep, etc.?

Unable to connect 2 external monitors via the Port Replicator using Portege Z30 - 16U
Hi all
I need hell, I just moved from another laptop for Portege Z30 - 16U, I spent hours trying to connect my 2 external monitors to my Replicator Port Hi-Speed III 120W, but my laptop will see a monitor.
I used 2 external monitors with my laptop for years because I do a lot or reading and I don't want to use the one and the laptop screen.
I tried the mixture of a VGA and a HDMI and VGA cables, but nothing works.
Can anyone tell me how I can connect and discover 2 external monitors with this laptop and port replicator, I can't believe that this is not possible, it makes no sense that Toshiba would then technilogically behind other laptop manufacturers.
Thank you
Liga
Hello
I'm not familiar with the Z30 Portreplicator, but the general behavior of the replicators of the double-displayconnector, is that 1 can be used.
Not 2 simultaneously.I could be wrong, and you should easily be able to check it out - use only 1 at a time.
First, then the other.
If the two works when used alone, then my suspicion is right.I hope this helps!

Now, I received my u3014 dell monitor last night and did not, as still able to connect to one of my laptops.
I have a Dell XPS 13 (L321X), which has a port minidisplay outside and a Dell StudioXPS 1340, who was a regular on displayport.
Dell has included a mini displayport to displayport cable with the monitor and I tried this cable with two laptops, but no video appears.
I get the following messages with each laptop:
With the XPS 13: The monitor says "no displayport cable is connected.
With the Studio XPS 1340: "This monitor now goes in powersafe mode'.
The monitor works fine via HDMI and DVI, but obviously those who do not allow me to enjoy the maximum resolution.
The two laptops under windows 7 64-bit with video drivers of dell stock. I'm at a loss for what to do and would appreciate any suggestions/help someone.
Update: Dell sent me a new, replacement monitor. With this new monitor, I bought two cables:
Mini-displayport to mini-displayport to connect the XPS 13 to the U3014:
http://www.MonoPrice.com/products/product.asp?C_ID=102&cp_id=10246&cs_id=1024602&P_ID=5991&SEQ=1&format=2
regular DisplayPort / regular displayport to connecct Studio XPS 1340 to the U3014:
http://www.Amazon.com/GP/product/B005H3Q59U/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&PSC=1
results: EVERYTHING WORKS as IT is MUST!
As soon as I hung the xps 13 on the monitor, the monitor acknowledged instantly and went at full resolution. The same is true when I tried to connect with the Studio XPS 1340.
So I don't know if it's a simple cable problem or if there is something wrong with the circuit board on the original U3014, and frankly, I don't want to try my new cables with her, just in case, and facing another headache.
Whatever it is, this fixes all my problems. Thanks for all your help to try to diagnose the problem.

MacBook pro at 1920px external monitor via hdmi?
I just got MacBook pro 13-inch retina and the default resolution is 1280px in width, and the maximum value is 1600px.
If I connect the laptop to an external monitor via HMDI 1920px resolution, the resolution will actually be 1920, max mobile as 1600?
You can set the external display to the monitor native resolution or HDMI resolution according to your preference.
Don't use mirror display on external monitor because when you mirror on the screen display resolution is also in reverse. Use extended display mode.

If you can read it in MAX, then you should be able to run the NI CAN example.

Find the CAN and watch CAN Receive.vi.
Basically, set up the network, open the object, read in a loop close object when it is done.
If you have any questions about the example, go ahead and post your vi and we can work from there.

Latitude E6440 display blink when connect you to an external monitor via hdmi to VGA Converter
Hi Dell Community,
Please help me diagnose what's wrong with my new laptop.
My laptop is Dell Latitude E6440, but whenever I connect external monitor to my laptop HDMI via HDMI port to the converter VGA, the external monitor still flashes randomly every two seconds. This VGA HDMI converter / works fine when I used it on the other laptop.
Currently I still have the chance to try my laptop HDMI port to connect directly to a HDMI monitor because I don't.
Is it that someone has the same problem with me? Thanks for your help.
Dell currently manufactures replacements of main card to resolve this problem. They will be available at the end of July. Please make sure you have a current subscription and contact support to be eligible for replacement.

External display via mini display port resolution
Hello
I have an iMac 27 "late 2009 with a graphic of ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB and the latest Mac OS.
I just bought a Samsung U28E850R to use as a second screen UHD and connected via the port mini screen iMac to display the port of the Samsung.
The problem is that it is not possible to set a higher resolution than Full HD on the Samsung. But with regard to the iMac specification 2560 x 1440 should be possible.
Does anyone know the solution for my problem? Thank you.
Hello there, riedma.
It seems that you are wanting to be able to choose from all available on your new display resolutions. The following Knowledge Base article offers strong information to achieve this:
OS X El Capitan: set the resolution of your screen
Screen resolution determines the size of the text and objects on your screen. By default, the resolution of your screen is set to display the text stronger and more detailed images. So it is best to use the default resolver, you can manually set the resolution to make the text and objects appear larger on your screen, or adjust it to make the text and objects appear smaller in order to have more space on your screen.
Depending on how you set the resolution, some applications may not entirely correspond to the screen. Using a scale of resolution can affect performance.
Define the main screen resolution
Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click view, and then click display.
Select chipped, then select one of the options of resolution nationally.
Define a connected screen resolution
If you have more than one display, additional resolution options are available.
After that the display is connected, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click view, and then click display.
Press the Option key while you click chipped to see additional resolutions for the second screen. Then select a resolution option to scale to the second screen.
If you changed your screen resolution and now there is no picture
Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple Support.
Kind regards.

Problems with an external monitor with the Port Replicator III and M100
Hey all.
I just returned from a trip where I took my laptop. Plugged into the Port Replicator port, started and everything was fine. Then after an hour or two, the monitor stopped receiving a signal. I repositioned the laptop and everything was good again. He then loses signal once again, and I was not able to get a signal via the port replicator since.
The monitor works fine through the hole at the rear of the M100.
I checked the pins on the Port Replicator port and portable, none folded and tried to clean any dust etc. Still no signal to the monitor.
Someone has ideas of how to do to solve this problem?

Hello
The Toshiba 3 mobile extension is responsible for the good condition of the duplicator 3 market. Try to reinstall this utility and also check the page of the Toshiba driver for updates.

U2415 Display Port DVI adapter - no Signal
Hi - I have a new U2415 that I'm not getting a signal on when I plug it into my office with a Display Port to DVI. This is an active adapter that I bought on Amazon. I have the adapter plugged into the port Display Port, then the cable DVI to my PC. When I try to "detect" to the monitor displays under Windows 7 64 bit I don't see it in there. I have 3 other monitors connected to my PC using a videocard ATI Port Quad (ALL DVI) and I know that all ports operate as I went around.
When I plug the monitor in my book of Mack using the Display port cable accompanying the monitor works fine. I also know the works of DVI cable very well as I tried it on another monitor.
I also tried a CDM/DVI with another card and it does not work.
I also downloaded the software Dell Display Manager but it gives an error saying: he needs a Dell monitor supported.
Any ideas on why the Display port/DVI does not work? Can someone suggest any other ideas. I like to keep my current quad DVI video card port as they are costly to change.
Thank you very much

Equium L300 - 17Q does not appear on my external TV via VGA
Computer details:
NTEL (R) 965 Express Chipset Family graphics cardWindows Vista Edition Home Premium
Recently, I connected my laptop to my HDTV UMC of 22 "via a VGA cable. It worked fine for about a month, until the day my TV says 'no signal' when I tried to connect to the laptop. Now, I tried the last month trying to solve this problem and have had no luck.
I tried unistalling and reinstalling the display driver, changing the resolution, tinkered with each parameter but without success.
My laptop recognizes that there is an attached monitor and when I press FN + F5 and scroll through the different options of the computer knows that the monitor is there, but the style of TV says 'no signal '.I know this isn't the TV which is faulty, I connected laptop computer Sony my father on my TV via VGA, and the TV display Sony laptop screen.
PC World wanted me £40 just to "have a look" load which I of course said no because this can be something simple to solve.
I could be wrong, but I hope someone has a solution for me.I'm not a massive wizz with computers, but I have a knowledge base.
If you have any other questions, you need to know then I'll respond and keep checking for anyone who responded.Thank you very much.

Hello
For me, it would be interesting to know if you have tested this laptop output VGA on different TVs?
PS: Have you checked the BIOS settings?
There is a tab called display. Please change the settings and check if you can activate the display (signal) on external LCD. -
