"No more space on the home screen"

Two of my home screens have a lot of vacation, but now when I try to place a Widget on one of them I get the error message 'No more space on the home screen'.  It used to work fine - but now I press on and hold on an empty spot on the screen and select 'Widget', but I get this error message when I select the Widget I want on my screen. I can place a folder or shortcut without problem, just can't place a Widget.  Any suggestions?

Widgets done come n a variety of sizes. Sometimes the size appears after the name of the widget (4 x 1, 4 x 2, etc.). I think that the FB widget is big enough, maybe 4 x 3 or 4 x 4. He needs a little space.

  • No "sign in" option shown on the home screen updated, what now?

    Latest updates of microsoft stopped Firefox on my computer, (error 404) but I managed to find a way to update, but I now have a screen of firefox with google as my search engine, but there is no place on the home screen that allows me to connect to my google account.
    How I solve this problem, please.
    Basic instructions would be appreciated, because I'm not very computer savvy.

    Maybe it's the built-in Firefox homepage? On this page, the address bar does not show an address, just the phrase search for or type the address. Although the page displays a related Google search box, it is not a page of Google.

    If you go to the Google home page and it has the controls you want, you can make as your homepage. These articles have more information on the way in which:

    If this does not work or does not stick, you may have an add-on or an external program which is the substitution of your preference. Please post back for more on this.

  • IPad2 can jump from apps, return to the home screen

    IPad2 keeps jumping by apps to return to the home screen.  Have tried the suggestions and have visited Apple Store twice without success.  Still do!

    Hi Dsimonian,

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

    I understand that when you are in some different applications on your iPad, you are taken back to the home screen unexpectedly.

    Without knowing the previous steps, you're done, my suggestions will be to start with some basic troubleshooting. If this scenario plays in only a few different applications, I would first of all close applications completely by following the instructions in the following article.

    Force an app to close iOS - Apple Support

    Once these applications are closed, restart your iPad.

    Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

    If the problem persists, please let us know more about the troubleshooting steps you have already performed. This only happens with a specific application, multiple applications, or all your apps? How many times does that happen?

  • How can yoga Tablet 10 I create folders on the home screens

    I'm putting applications on the home screens into folders. On my previous Tablet I could just drag one app to another, and it would create a folder all two in and then I could rename the folder. When I try to make the apps it just move and will not combine for a dossier

    Can anyone help?

    It would be better to download another Launcher Home from the game store, the Lenovo we're very limited and, IMO, messy.
    Research room for Launcher Nova or Holo Launcher HD. You can add folders by drag-and - drop icons on the other.

    If you want a launcher 'centric Tablet' more, look for SmartLauncer, one of its features is that it automatically periapicales your apps for you in 6 different categories. Very tidy if, like me, you prefer to have things compartmentalized.

  • Atrix "belongs to" on the home screen

    On the home screen when they are blocked, I have my desktop wallpaper, a clock and date.

    Below it is said belongs to: followed by a picture of a Bell and -.

    On my Q9h global, I could fill a table with owner information that fill in this form.

    I can't find where to find this anywhere on the Atrix... It has a space for it on the screen so it must be somewhere.

    When I installed AVG, that put it on there. You can change this in the settings of the antivirus.

  • Installed a new button from the home screen, I shouldn't have to update software?

    Hello

    My home screen button and screen had cracked and I've just fixed. I was told by the repair iphone specialist do not update my phone more because the phone could brick because of the new button on the home screen that has installed.

    My impression fingerprint sensor works now more for the phone this new button.

    With an update, a software update will brick my phone? I'm on version 9.2.

    Thank you

    Unless your screen was repaired by Apple or an Apple authorized repair center, it will not work properly again. The ID of touch will not work. At this point, so you should not try to update of iOS, as this will brick your phone.

  • I closed the port at the top of the home screen and I can't open it

    at the top of the home screen, there is a port that contains icons for internet, parental controls, webcam.... e t c.

    How do I open it again?
    I tried to do, but so far I have had no luck.

    By 'port' are you speaking of the Dell Dock?

    Click Start or press the Windows key and type Dell Dock. Locate the Dell Dock program in the list above and click on it. If it is not listed, click on an empty area of the desktop and then go back and click Start click all programs and look for your Dell Dock program in the Dell folder.

    When it is running, right-click on an empty space on your Dell Dock. Go to Advanced settings and check the option run at startup.

    The programDell Dock should now start with Windows each time. If for any reason any you do not find the program, it is available as a free download drivers& downloads Dell. If you do not use a Dell computer and you want to say something different when you talked about 'port', just ignore these directions.

  • Vista stuck on the home screen, impossible to connect

    The problem came from last night after that my computer had a blue screen and proceeded to do some sort of system dump or something like that. Subsequently, I have been unable to connect to one of the five accounts on the computer because it stuck to the home screen after clicking on the account. The little blue circle would continue forever. The computer works fine in safe mode, but I tried a clean boot with MSCONFIG and it still doesn't work. Any ideas? In addition, CTRL + ALT + DELETE DO NOT solve the problem.

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do the restore of the system in Safe Mode, you cannot do it in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
  • How to put a WIFI-connect button directly on the home screen?
    Hi all
    I know there is a wifi - connect button in the notification Panel, but I have to turn on my screen, open the Control Panel, then click on the "quick settings" button, then click on the WiFi connect button... " 4 actions connect within my own wifi network!
    (Note that I don't want the automatic connection setting because I don't want to be connected to each time)
    I wish I had just a "wifi - connect ' on my screen which allow me to connect just by clicking this button."
    I can't find a widget or application in my phone to do this.
    Do you know how?
    Thank you very much
    Hello
    The best thing would be to follow the advice of dandy63of s, by downloading a third-party application that can handle it. The closest you can get this as standard (without having to download any third-party application), would be to add a shortcut to settings > Wi - Fi. This can be if you long press on an empty space on your home screen > select Apps > shortcuts > settings > Wi - Fi.
