• Computer laptop screen flickering and horizontal lines in Inspiron 15r SE 7520

  I have a laptop Dell inspiron 15r is who is 1.1years old (model - 7520). It worked well up to that of a few days. Last week, he began giving a horizontal line of white point at the top of the screen (like that... in white) for the entire width of the screen. Since yesterday, or a similar line began to appear at the bottom too. Two of these online come and go every 2-3 sec.   Hello my f11 and f12 keys is no longer adjust my brightness. The gauge up and down, but does not change the brightness. I tried to update the graphics card in Device Manager, but he says that it is up-to-date. Same thing with 'Generic PNP Monitor' said that it is up-to-date.   I thought about it. My drivers intel had to be installed since I reinstalled windows. I used the utility of intel and updated driver to update the graphics card update

  Think video drivers especially if it may be others. Refer to the section of driver in my generic bluescreen
  methods of troubleshooting below. BIOS, low and antispyway/antivirus/security chipset drivers
  programs may also cause this. Check the resolution of problems and when you get to the section driver view
  for generic methods in the next message and then back to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

  I have a new problem with my PC. My laptop suddenly crashed. It was working fine before this, but while I was watching a movie, it's just off. I tried to restart but it gave me the error that it cannot open because of software or a hardware error. It gives me two options: 1. to try the Startup Repair tool. 2. to open Windows normally.

  I tried to open it normally, but it redirects me to startup repair. The Startup Repair is unable to do anything.

  I installed Windows Vista professional from the CD. It worked perfectly... I want to say that I was able to retrieve all my data because it stored in a folder called Windows.Old

  But since I could not the wifi adapter and integrated graphics card Intel to work on the PC, I tried to restore factory settings. It doesn't let me access the Recovery Manager by pressing F11 on reboot I went to the computer icon and right-click on it. I selected manage and made my recovery disk a partition active. So after reboot it properly started the Recovery Manager. Right now I'm it back to factory settings. I'll let you know what happens after that. My data is safe, but I don't know if I'll be able to load my original OS.

  Unlike desktop computers, graphics upgradding on the laptop is not easy as walking in a park, difficult, expensive, or even impossible depending on how we look at it:

  (a) for the graphics card (including integrated card) which is welded to the montherboard/system board, we can just say: buy a new machine.

  (b) for the graphics card dedicated: basically we can but find map MXM is one thing, the upgrade of cooling system is another thing, and this may required more power to the power supply... Total cost could be equal to buy a new machine.
