  I am facing two problems within my captivate sensitive project.

  I am using captivate v8 with the last update and im using mac OS x Yosemite.

  First of all, I have a drag and drop interaction where I have 6 intelligent forms that can be dragged in different region 2. The region does not accept wrong answers. I would automatically advance to the next slide once the two fields have correct dragables 3 and without dragables are left. On stocks, I "go to the next slide" on success, but it does not work even if I press the submit button.

  Secondly, every time I add a button to a slide and mark its action to go to the next slide I end up getting a blank slide in the preview...

  I want to basically do is to make a button appear once completed slide that allows users to move to the next slide.

  Any idea on how to achieve one of the thees?

  I'm fairly new to Captivate and seeks to use it to develop a module of e-learning at the pace learning consisting of a number of slides. However, I find that when you use the PlayBar of Captivate, the slides automatically advance, where in fact what I want is the project to stop at each slide, allowing to the learner to press "back" or "forward" when they have finished reading the slide.

  P_SJ advice is spot on. However, I see where confusion could arise. What has been referred to as was 'click box. In Captivate, it's something we know as 'click box. In Captivate 4 you click Insert > Standard objects > click box. In earlier versions, you click Insert > click box.

  Note that once you insert a single click on a slide box and configure as needed, you can copy it into the Windows Clipboard. Then, select the remaining slides and paste into each of them at a time to save time.

• Captivate 9 - preview the slide entire chronology does not

  HI - Captivate and really stuck on a fairly new basis. So basic I couldn't find answers anywhere.

  My project has slides that work for different durations. I set by default to 20 seconds in the Preferences tab.

  But whenever I saw the project then it works for about 10 seconds and all animated to appear after that which is not.

  It's driving me crazy.

  If I play the chronology of slide everything works perfectly but not in preview (except "play Slide").

  I don't know if its a problem with the preview or my project, but it is a real stumbling block.

  Any suggestion or ideas appreciated.

  Unless there is an interactive object in the Group_29 that is not developed, there is no reason why this slide show only up to 10 dry. Another possibility would be an interactive object on the model of used slides, with a pause or an interactive object on a previous slide that is scheduled for the rest of the project. In both cases, you should see this object on the stage.

  BTW, slide Play isn't an overview, only way to synchronize objects like you did with the timing. If another preview of the method (the best are previews of browser) lead the slide stop somewhere, there should be a break. You can check in the preview if the progress bar in a PlayBar stops?

  Another less likely cause could be that the objects does not, are set to be visible in output: check the "eye" icon in the properties panel in top left.

  Be sure to leave a small space after and before each audio clip in the slide. This way Captivate will not hold account is a large audio file distributed over several slides.

  Another tip: don't compress to mp4, if you import audio clips to Captivate but keep the original wav files. Captivate will compress to mp3 at the time of publication. Look in the library, you'll probably find that Cp has created a wav from your mp3 file.

  I'm working on a project which controls 28 rooms.  I want to have a screen with bars of different colors for the different stages.  I'm here thinking sliders.  I want to fill them before the start of the execution and then have a coverage slider which is semi transparent to cross.

  I don't see a way to get the transparent semi with the cursor in another.

  My next idea is to have a translucent image 2D on top that changes size running.

As I said, there are a number of ways in which you can do, but to stay in line with what you already have, you can create a semi transparent PNG square (I like Paint.NET, but I think that PowerPoint should also work for this) and imports that instead of filling. The key point is that, once you do this, you need to hide the background of the slide. To do this, select window > show window pieces in the editing mode and find the part called cosmetic.   It may be useful if you are going to... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab...
  and uncheck all filters.

  Also... it might be a compatibility problem with your source files...
  (videos / photos / music files)

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv or dv - avi
  Music - wma, wav, wmv
