No prompt Proxy Authorization

Mac OS X 10.10.5

Firefox 40.0.3

I set FireFox to use a proxy (just not my entire system browser) but there is no prompt to the user and the password in the preferences: Advanced: network: connection settings. In addition, several times people make changes he made in the topic: config, but these two names preferably don't exist or that they have no effect on this issue.

Does anyone know how to get FireFox to request username/password name or where to find the login?

Thank you, MDS

This issue has Nothing to do with password managers or filling of the form, it has to do with the connection network Advanced Preferences settings. Where FireFox allows you to use a > > > proxy < < < but does not allow to enter the name of user and password information and the proxy may actually work. This question has Nothing to do with connections to Web sites does not.

  • ITunes authorization

When I tried to sync my iPhone6 with ITunes, he kept saying that my computer was not authorized, then when I tried to allow it, he said that it was already authorized.  Then he asked a password for a computer, I had when he there was that dial-up networking.  Something is not.  After synchronization, my music had many double reading lists, but some of them had only one or two songs.  I cancelled all computers and it has so authorized, but he still asked me to authorize the computer.  I would hesitate to connect my iPhone to the computer, because iTunes is so strangely at this stage.  Is anyone else having these problems?  I tried the cat with the support, but they did not understand what was going on.

  • Windows 7 directory on the iTunes folder encryption is originally a problem of insufficient authorization

Windows 7 seems to be encrypting random complete files in my iTunes on my drive folder hard ext.  This causes problem insufficient authorization (see If iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize your computer - Apple Support).  Any ideas of how to avoid this?  The encryption because the album is to have some sort of time-lock?

Sounds like a Windows problem, not an iTunes one. Do not encrypt files unless they need. You add an access memory load data within a treatment and run the risk that you cannot recover the data if the operating system crashes into the keys with him. Also not a good idea for an external drive that you might want to use it on several computers. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/encrypt-decrypt-folder-file#1TC=windo ws-7.

See fix for iTunes for Windows security permissions for the appropriate permissions to set on the files to iTunes.

Make sure that the information SC folder mentioned in the document you cite is not subject to encryption either.

It is perhaps worth noting that iTunes may issue a request to authorize when a download from the store is damaged in any way. Delete the affected file and download a new copy of the store usually solves this problem.

  • authorization for the admin.

My problem with this new laptop to my out offshore on the activity of the water is. I transferred my old files as a windows 7 OS (2 years) to a new computer purchased August 10, 2010. All of these files to work perfect. Above all, I'm working with MS Office and PDF, photos and video clips of work in progress and completion.

But makes stuff that I add that either to memory stick and/or downloading of emails give me anything else that required administrative permissions. This prompt for authorization happens to open, move, and delete each time and for each file type imaginable. The only thing that fixes it crosses the safety of each file and I mean EVERY SINGLE DA * N file. Simply because I clicked and now have access to a PDF file has no effect on all of the PDF files. I have more than 500 PDF files only which means I have to do for everyone individually. And PDF files and other documents from MS Office I'll have in the client files that is to say, if I work for the oil company file number of their task will have several PDF files and several MS Word and MS Excel as well as JPEGs in this specific working folder. I followed every suggestion on this site and 32 others darn sites and YouTube. Nothing works. By the time I'm done with typical job 2 weeks that I have on average between 500 and 1000 files in each folder of work which means I'll have to do security for everyone. I have not had to do with my laptop aged 2 year with the 7 OS system, with which it is installed. I go out and take a picture of a new control valve to install on the oilrig, then transfer the photo to my laptop it gives me this message when I try to open it. Now the instructions on this site do NOT WORK. I see where other people have the same problem or problems of similar files but you so call answer gurus immediately reject cela and begin to pretend that what they really talk be system files and or record. What a lot of us are talking about are just your basic Office files, JPEG and PDF types. I tried EVERYTHING you have suggested that the higher intelligences. If you think I'm being sarcastic so good your at least somewhat intelligent because I painted it on pretty thick. I am not a computer expert, so if you know how to help me you'll have to put the answer in great detail, as if you described a child... no not do as you described him to an Amoeba (an organism).
I have need of semitones can be excluded and a whole that guess I know where everything is. It must be infinitely accurate and literal. I checked the names of groups/users and they all have full control checked only special permissions is not check.  I'm at a complete loss what to do next. I don't know it's simple but after four days and having to do each file individually (322 at this point) I'm sick and tired of this. I decided to just see what the average amount of files that I have to do this in a year given, based on the last of the previous two years and that means I have to set the security settings for the files of 45 000 to 81 500 each year. This absolutely insane sound to ANYONE else besides me!
I changed my account to administrator level checked to make sure that I have total control and it makes no difference.
I changed the moderate user account control settings to never notify and which makes no difference.

Basically, you don't know the things of the previous OS that you have transferred the files to

The is a simple solution called 'ownership' he tells essentially all of the files that you now own them.

Google appropriating and find a download (or context menu add sur-ils come in two varieties) and install it on your computer.

Make sure you have a back up just in case where (we do all this right?)

Run appropriate on the issue of the files/folders.

This page is actually a framework around another site (https://client.psms-cpa.com/). You can load pages framed in a new tab by right clicking on the error page, expanding the submenu 'this framework', then Open Frame in a new tab.

40 Firefox no longer displays the login prompt of authorization basis for a framed page that is hosted on a different server. This is to protect you from accidentally giving your credentials for the external page for an attacker.

One solution is to use the page framed directly, but if you prefer to disable this new protection, there is an option to do so. Of course, please be wary of this guest appearing on other sites.

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste auth and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference of network.auth.allow - subresource-auth and edit the 1 to 2, and then click OK

    • 1 shows the dialog box logon only for pages framed, images, etc., hosted on the same site

    Hi iNoodles4118,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! I'm sorry to hear you are having these problems with iTunes and your Apple ID. I'm a bit difficult to know if ID Apple which had already inquired on the authorization page when you tried to play the song corresponds to your current Apple ID or possibly a precedent or even an unknown ID. You can check to see what Apple ID, the song was purchased slot, as follows:

    Control iTunes for previous purchases

If you have already purchased something from the iTunes Store, you can check which account was used to buy it.

If the Apple ID has changed since then, and the name in the Info file will not work.

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. Click on one of your purchases. You can find your purchases under my music or playlists.
    3. Choose file > get info.
    4. Click the file tab.
    5. The "purchased by" will show your Apple ID in parenthesis that was used to purchase the item.

If you find your Apple ID, but still don't have to remember your password, reset your password.

If you have forgotten your Apple - Apple Support ID

If it comes from your current Apple ID, you should be able to verify that your password is correct and working by going to the main page of Apple ID:

    Hello there, Crissa.

Section of the Knowledge Base that you were referred to us provides the very information that will help solve your problem:

iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases

While each topic is relevant, many find that this article allows them to solve their problem:

Authorize your purchases with the correct account name

The items you are trying to play might have been purchased using a different iTunes Store account. To determine which account was used to purchase an item, follow these steps:

    1. Select a song in your library.
    2. Mac: In the MenuBar at the top of your computer screen, choose file > read the information.
Windows: Press Control and B on your keyboard to activate the bar menu of iTunes. On the menu bar, choose file > read the information. Learn more about the menus in iTunes for Windows.
    3. Click the file tab Make note of the name of the account that appears in the list. Is the name of the account (Apple ID) that you use when you authorize your computer to play this purchase.
The Apple ID that appears is that you used when you bought the item. The Apple ID, that you used to purchase the article does not change, even if you change your Apple ID.
    4. Authorize your computer.

If you authorized the Apple which is indicated in the file summary tab, check your purchase history for this Apple ID ID. If your purchase history does not reflect the purchase of the items in your iTunes library, think about any other Apple ID you could create and authorize your computer for Apple ID.

If you have forgotten the password of one of your accounts, retrieve it using Apple's password recovery Web site.

Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple Support.

    See you soon.

  • Why my new ipad sync even when I gave her?

    Thank you

    Shelley

    Hello PCNumpty,

You may need to check with the COMPUTER administrator at your workplace to determine if restrictions have been added to the iPad that has been given to you and to what Apple ID has been used to implement.  The resources below explain how Apple ID in iTunes are allowed, and how devices iOS are associated with Apple ID.

View and delete devices in iTunes
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204074

    On the devices associated with

When you use some features of the iTunes Store on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or computer, your computer or iOS device is automatically associated to your Apple ID in iTunes account settings. These features include:

You can have 10 devices (up to 5 computers) associated to your identifier Apple and iTunes at the same time. Computers and devices can be associated with another Apple ID once every 90 days. Each computer must also be allowed to use the same identifier Apple. You don't need to authorize your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

You don't need to combine your devices to buy content, download new purchases or to play the content that you have stored for offline listening.

You can not see all your computers or devices listed on the account information page in iTunes. Your iTunes account information lists only the computers and devices that you have associated with your Apple ID using one of the characteristics listed above.

    View or delete associated devices

Click to open iTunes and sign in to your account, or follow the steps below:

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. Click Connect and enter your Apple ID and password.

    3. Click on your name and select account information in the menu dropdown.

    4. Re-type your password.

    View your associated devices

Under the iTunes in the cloud section, click on manage devices. (If you did not associate devices with your Apple ID, you will not see the section manage devices). Information about each associated device appears. Next to each device, you can see when she associated with your Apple ID. You can also track how many days left until you can associate your device with a different ID to Apple.

    Remove an associated device

Under the iTunes in the cloud section, click on manage devices. Click on Delete next to the device you want to remove.

When you delete your Apple ID from a device, the 90 day limit remains in place on this device. But, you can associate your Apple ID to another device that does not have the limit of 90 days. Depending on when you associated with a device, you may need to wait to associate it with a new Apple ID.

If you can not click on delete (the button is dimmed), the device you are trying to delete is connected to your Apple ID in the last 30 days. Sign out of the iTunes Store to this device, and then try to remove it.

CASE: Aplus Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower
    OS: Vista Ultimate 64-bit

I checked my system and performed the following tasks to try to resolve the problem:
My version of Windows is up-to-date. I have no problem hardware or exceptional driver. I tried to temporarily disable my antivirus to complete the installation, this does not solve the problem. I tried to install it as a system administrator. I searched the site of Valve/steam software for a solution, none were found (http://store.steampowered.com/). I searched the database of Microsoft for a solution, none were found. I'm having no problem with other games or applications that were loaded on that computer. The problem is only with the application steam.exe and any game that requires the application of steam to the function.
    I came across the following link which has promised to solve the problem;
    http://www.bing.com/search?mkt=en-us&q=steam%20error%20Win32%20error%205
    https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5322-QYZB-5344
I followed the instructions at three times, all with the same error message.
The default program is responsible for the following: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Steam.
I tried to load the program on different hard disks and got the same error code.
I have triple checked all user profiles to make sure that the appropriate privileges have been set (Admin). I checked all the steam program elements to ensure that they have been set to run as a program director executed. I double checked that proper TCP/UDP ports are open for the application of the steam function. http://www.resoo.org/docs/Counterstrike/steam_ports.html
Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Platinum,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Vista Community Forums.

This error is primarily caused by a lack of permissions for the user, having the Steam.exe file attributes set to 'Read only', or by another program interferes with the installation of Steam process (if the steam client application has been updated to a version that was not included in your package of Steam, Steam will download a new copy of itself and then delete the old file Steam.exe except when another program interferes).

    1. check your Windows user permissions.
Please ensure that you are logged on as administrator on the computer that you use to install Steam.
    2. check the file attributes
    3. right click on the file Steam.exe, which was created after running the Steam Installer, and then select Properties
4 uncheck the read-only box if it is checked and hit apply before closing the window
    5. try running the Steam.exe file once more
    6. check the settings of your security software

If you are running an antivirus, firewall or any product safety program that may interfere with the removal and replacement of the file Steam.exe (some security software will check information of a file whenever it is changed and block the automatic replacement of files) Please check your settings for the program and ensure that you are prompted to authorize activities that may trigger the security software.

Remove spyware, Adware and virus software and try to run the installation again.

In addition to the steps above, follow these steps:
    1. go in C:/Program Files/Steam /.
    2. right click on Steam.exe and go to properties.
    3. click on the Compatibility tab.
    4. check run as administrator and click OK.
    5. then I deleted StemeTemp (or something like that. the steam icon).
    6. then run Steme.exe again.

    It will be useful.

  • Permission to hook our thread of the application when the device is locked

    Hi, expert,

During recent tests, we discovered that if the user doesn't give allow us certain permissions, but instead of fast approval such as permission to phone. When we access api related phone, OS would show a prompt for authorization, which is planned and well if the device is unlocked. However if the device is locked, our code would be hanging there to wait for the user to grant or deny, however, it would occur only when the device is unlocked. If the entire thread is blocked here.

It's not good for our substantive application. Just wonder how other people solve this problem. In theory, we could avoid these calls if authorization is prompt device is locked, however it is too difficult to identify all the places because that would be a problem for all the permissions (not just permission to phone) and it would be a nightmare to code maintenance.  Another approach is to refuse authorisation every time that approval is fast. Not sure if we could lower the authorization or not. Any other suggestions on this?

I did some looking on the internet and did not "find any post related.

    Thanks in advance.

If the user decides to do it is the problem of the user, not yours.
