I followed all the steps provided on the hp site, but still does not work...   Solutions to follow two up to seven below to inspect the problem cartridge and fix it if possible:

  If the problem is not resolve, you need to replace both ink cartridges and contact HP to reset the printer to accept local ink cartridges.

  You will need a complete set of black and tri-color Genuine HP 678 cartridges, hae the printer connected to your computer, and then contact the HP support:
