No return 'GALACTIC' help please...

Okay, don't know how to explain this issue yet... (I use to be able to do this in RageMaker years)

Here is an example. Let's say you have a proper name, maybe a product name. This name is two words, lets say...  "Blue Square." And you NEVER want 'Blue square' to be divided at the end of a line. That is to say. "Blue on the first line and place on the next line. I can force this name to the word "two" behaves like a name of word "ONE"?

(I know I can go through the document and 'hand' return but I have hundreds of instance in a large document)

Thank you

Dan

There are several ways to do so. Apply the character style "no pause" as mentioned above works (it will also keep the words of hyphenation). I recommend that you set up a character for "no pause" style so that you can easily apply and get him.

There is also a non-breaking space character - choose space space: non-breaking Type: white Insert. If you use a lot, assign a keyboard shortcut (on Mac, it is already assigned to the command-option-x, but this can be remapped) or you can use find/replace to change your favorite phrases to include in the document.

You could probably even set up a "GREP Style" so that if a particular sequence of words appear in your paragraph, it automatically gets a "seamless" character style applied. In this way, you can place stories and once you have applied your paragraph style, no research or retype are necessary.
