  Try the following.

  Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

  Locate the KB2962407 update, right click and choose uninstall.  Once completed, restart the laptop and when Windows rebooted, open windows control panel, open Windows Update and select "Check for updates".  You will see the update that you have uninstalled just offered once again - right click and select "Hide update".

  After that you may or may not need to remove and reload the sound driver - if you do, how to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  Why you n t use the Restore tool of the Windows system that would help you to define the operating system back to the point of time at the beginning?

  I guess you deleted the sound/sound driver software and the System Restore tool should help you recover this software.

  3 weeks ago I received my laptop EA60-155 and have experienced ongoing problems with the sound and modem on the laptop. I bought the laptop from currys so am sure that they are an authorized dealer.

  The problem is different, sometimes I turn on the laptop to find out, there is no sond and the modem does not work, sometimes the sound works and makes the modem for about 15 minutes before the problem arises again.   If you have this problem permanently, you can try to reinstall the modem and sound card. If the unit is pre-installed with recovery DVDs, it should work fine. As a first step, you can try and remove the sound card and the modem from Device Manager, then restart the device. The two hardware components must be recognized and installed again.

  If there is no success I recommend you backup your data and reinstall the OS using recovery DVDs. On this way the unit will be clean installed and there should not be any problem. Every problem that happens after that can be some hardware malfunction and you must contact the Service partner again.

  The 6008 is not appropriate for the measures by thermocouple - see this article for details, but in short, you would be able to measure at a minimum resolution of 8-9 degrees with a precision of 30 degrees.

  You must use either a USB as the connected USB-TC01 thermocouple module, superior performance DAQ (with a range of smaller / more high resolution) or use a C-Series Thermocouple module.

• Support reading per folder?

  Sansa fuse seems not to support this feature.  I use the USB MSC mode.

  I had a Meizu MusicCard and it allows me to play by the folder, because there's a selection of "Browser", and I can use it to go to the particular folder to read a particular MP3 file or play the entire folder, including subfolders within this folder.

  I tried to create a M3U playlist, but unfortunately the M3U playlist can't play Chinese file name of MP3 files.

  Now seems the only option is to return to USB MTP mode and create the Windows Media playlist.  But it's the last option that I want to try.

  Any suggesstion?

  Well, I finally rename all my files and folders to use English names only, then update ID3 tags using iTune.  Then, build the M3U for each list.  It works well this way, but it took me half a day!

  As yours is a laptop, you will find your drivers on the website of the manufacturer of the laptop.

  Don't get your drivers via Windows Update; they are far behind with the latest drivers.
  Find them in the manufacturer of the laptop.
