  I used LCM to export artifacts of objects in repository for reporting and analysis. The export went well, but when I try to import, several errors were thrown. Repository for my business objects is around 12 GB and error, the log shows is "artifact cannot be migrated. I open the workspace and randomly checked some records and they have all the same files had the other workspace. Any help that anyone on that these errors can be?

  There is a dependence in objects - for example, if a database does not exist, a report to this database will fail to import. Look at the dependencies.
  Another tip is to start small and then with growing experience, expand. Otherwise, you risk multiple problems, which may or may not be connected.

• Node EMP-architect &amp; nodes Reporting and analysis-a lost-when removing applications

  Goal-
  I'm the LCM import scene in our UAT environment. I just tried to make a fresh start.
  * I tried to remove existing Applications, planning, in respect of the sharing of services in our UAT environment (which was imported through our DEV LCM)
  
  
  
  Actions taken so far-
  
  Right click on groups of applications, checked the following & deleted.
  
  * Foundation\EPMA
  * Planning\ < two applications >
  * Reporting and analysis and Analysis\Reporting
  
  
  
  OBSERVATION (both good and bad)-
  * Good thing is - I don't see most planning applications. It's a good thing.
  * But the strange thing is that I do not have more than two nodes of BLUE color [node EMP-architect & nodes Reporting and analysis-].

• SmartView connection reporting and analysis

  Anyone else using the version 11.1.2? We have installed SmartView and it is not an option to change the service provider so that we can connect to the notification and analysis. Successfully, we connected to the HFM Office provider, but when you enter the URL listxml for notification and analysis as we walked into the HFMofficeprovider it can not connect. Oracle, informed us he is supposed to be the ability to add a service, and we who are missing.   11.1.2 Smart View uses Workspace to track shared (including R & A) connection providers. It should appear as "RAFramework - 11.1.2 - Reporting and analysis framework.

  R & A records with workspace when it is configured. Order the workspace pick up this record, you must re - run the Setup for the tasks of the Foundation of "configure logic address for Web Applications", 'Configure Oracle Configuration Manager' and 'configure the Web server.

  I would then reboot the server so that the changes take effect.

  I have installed in a distributed env hyperion... (on the three boxes... a running windows xp (machine 1), both running windows 2003 Server (machine 2 and 3 machine.))
  
  Machine 2 has... Server and Oracle Essbase.
  Machine 3 has... Hyperion Planning, workspace.
  Machine 1 to... EPMA and Bishop of Calc.
  
  Now, I need to install financial reports and analysis...

  As far as I know, you always need to install reporting financial print server on a windows server.
  I'd go with just the implementation of Reporting and analysis on the area of windows server, but it's just my personal opinion and looking at what you have provided.

  It is up to you what you choose, most people go with the apache plugin and would go for this one, it is much more robust and rarely there at - it problems with it. The apache option will install all necessary files.

  You've probably read that you needed IIS to use EPMA.

  Method 1:

  I suggest you to follow the steps and check.

  (a) click Start

  (b) type services.msc in the search box, and then press enter.

  (c) scroll down to Windows Audio and Windows Audio endpoint builder of Point

  (d) both should be started and set to automatic if one or both are arrested.

  (e) click the name to select it.

  (f) click on restart the service at the top left.

  (g) repeat for both if necessary. If some are not set to automatic, and then double-click the name and on the drop-down list to set the startup type to automatic and apply and ok your way out.

  Method 2:

  LCM happens correctly in the source? You see folders are created with the correct names?

  Try is change fileSystem.friendlyNames false, so that LCM doesn't create friendly records. It will replicate this folder structure you have in the folder data biplus.

• Upgrade Reporting and analysis for EMP 11.1.2.1

  I upgraded to EMP 11.1.2.1 11.1.1.3 by upgrade documentation (I think I followed all the instructions). I see that all the objects in the workspace of permissions and Explorer window have also been migrated successfully. I also changed the Financial Reporting database connections to point to the new location of the Essbase server.
  
  But when I try to open any financial report, I get a browser script error (seems to be a JavaScript error) almost always missing a ';' at the end of a line. When I try to open a snapshot so, I get a HTTP 500 error.
  
  The same report (s) opens with the Financial Reporting Studio success when I choose "print preview". The error appears again, so if I choose "Web Preview". It happens to all reports in the repository.
  
  Any ideas on how I would go about fixing them?

  You must check the file Financialreporting0.log and FRlogging.log for more information. Which should help you to understand the issue.

  Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

  Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
     • Windows:
       • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
       • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
     • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
     • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.

  Someone can guide me after installation of the Reporting and Analysis Services/Reporting and analysis UI services/Reporting and analysis Client/Reporting Migration Utliity 9.3.1 and now to install 9.3.3 need to apply different patches for these different components or a patch updates all components?
  
  I downloaded the Patch 9900557 -Hyperion Reporting and analysis system of e - 9 release 9.3.3.0.0 stamp delivery.so if anyone knows which is the patch or do we need any patch separated for reporting and analysis, please let me know.

  There is a single correction utility, the utility to install SP (patch.bat)
  that will do a lot of the patch file automatically. The result of the patch is there are 3 new files of war/ear you will need to redeploy the application server in the configuration utility. This includes the workspace, financial reports and Web Analytics.

  Information is in the release of patch notes, but I think that answer your question - there is a simple script to run, and then redeploy the application servers.

  I lost my original for RA and re-installed server components on another server, however, when I try to access the workspace site, I get the message * "did not find a server Hyperion Reporting and analysis 'former name of the server running" at the port of 6800.   I re - run the Setup and configuration without result. Is there a configuration file that I have to update somewhere?

  This essentially means that the HSS register always points to the old name of the server for the RA_FRAMEWORK component. You will need to check through the report of registry if there several instance of the RA registered (one with the old server) framework and the other with the new server. If Yes, you can remove the old a registry through the epmsys_registry command line tool and reconfigure with the new server.
