  I just installed Max Payne 2 on my computor with Windows 7 and realized that this is one of my old games which is not compatible with this operating system!  I surfed autour, and it seems that there may be a solution to my challenge
  I tried to change the Compatible Mode for Wndows XP (Service Pack 2) with administrator rights, but the game will not launch!
  Can someone give me some advice, as Max Payne is awsome?

• The sound is too low on Satellite L650 - 10G

  My new L650 - 10G, running on Windows 7 64 bit, is disappointing. I can live with that, but what is a problem, is that the peak power is poor. In other words, the volume of the ridge is not strong enough. It's probably fixable, because I don't know that the speakers can produce at a higher level, even if they are not very good.

  I have the latest audio drivers. Any suggestions - outside the use of external speakers?

• Occasional buzzing sound during playback of music or new.

  This past week I noticed a humming noise - like when I play music, movies or new videos. It's more than a distortion of the sound like Max Headroom, that a real buzz. And it is not steady, just casual.  It is a four years, Dell Studio XPS 435 t/9000 with Win7 Pro 64. The audio is an integrated RealTek chip, not his own card. I have added a second hard drive last week, but others that I did not any changes.

  I have uninstalled/reinstalled audio drivers (twice).  I swapped the speakers.  I have downloaded and run the Dell Diagnostics software.   Nothing worked, it still happens. I'm puzzled. Anyone seen this before? Can it be fixed?

  Thanks for the help, Jeeped. You're right in that it was probably a problem of resources.

  I did as you suggested and turned off all non - Microsoft Services and startup applications. After the reboot, I did a sound check and everything was fine. Then I turned on four startup applications that I always use (Zone Alarm, Avast, battery backup Power Panel, Ad Fender), restart, and an audio verification. Still good.

  Then I started by reactivating the Services that I knew I wanted, reboot, all still good. When previously they were ALL checked, now there was only about half checked, and everything was fine. Those that I left without control was for the most part, the automatic software updates that are always on and question updates in the background. Of course, these services were keeping busy and hogging the resources needed elsewhere.

  So after a few reboots just to make sure that any change locked in, the sound was always clean. THEN I opened IE - 10, the browser that I use usually, and the distortion was back. So I closed and tried Chrome, and Firefox. None of these browsers created distortion. It was only IE - 10. I have certainly taken to heart your notion of "resources as long as the problem", I was thinking then that I had a bad IE-10 install, or something went wrong turned after an update. I checked my "use graphics" and IE - 10 was monopolizing everything.

  I uninstalled IE10 down to IE - 9. No deformation. Then did an install of IE - 10 instead of a simple update of IE - 10. Who took care of her. Something in the update IE-10 has been the origin of the problem. It took a lot of work, but what was needed was a complete installation, not just an upgrade. After talking to a buddy of mine at work that sometimes help in our IT Department, he said several desktop computers have had the same problem, and they thought it was the 'upgrade vs install' fix a few weeks back.

  I know this is a long answer, but I wanted to throw him out for you in case others run into the same problem and write about it. I can give more details if anyone wants them.

  My work dosent sound it happened when I was recording a game using Dxtory so the game dident answer when I chose to leave after I clicked twice on the game window, a new window poped out and sase 'GTA San Andreas is not responding' and I have these two options, 'Wait for the program to respong' or "Close now" so I clicked on farm now and when I went to agen on the game , I see that her dosent sound work, I checked the options sound was max and I checked on the "speaker" icon bedocean down on the taskbar, it is all set to max so I click on the right click on the "speaker" icon, but I can't access the playback devices and not any other sound option that could solve the problem What is happening? Please help, thanks.

  Thanks for your replay but that day, when I posted the problem on this forum, I've updated my drivers and it detected somehow my speakers and now they just fine contribute. : D

  Another solution would be a TOP - n query, using the ROW_NUMBER analytic function:

  Note that I had to use the NLSSORT function to get the same result as the value that the query GROUP BY.
  Depending on your NLS DB/SESSION settings, you may not do.

  If none of your intro´s games work... have you tried to update all THE drivers? Sometimes, do not display driver. (By the way, tried the omega drivers?).
  Perhaps it would be really good to download the audio driver from www.realtek.com and a codecpack
  from here-> www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

  In addition, I suggest you to restore your system before you install these drivers and just install the drivers and then the games to check if no doubt others software causes this error...

  If the overall score of 3.3 seems not be limited by the graphics performance.

  I now plans to upgrade this model to a P200-1FZ (which has a HD2600 with 256 MB memory card), but would like to know if it significantly improves the score of graphics and Vista performance index.

  Just FYI: I Satellite P200D-111 with ATI Mobility Radeon X 2600 almost 5 months now. I use Vista Home Premium and to be honest, I'm quite satisfied with the performance of Vista. Up to now, I also tested with several games such as Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4, El Matador and older games like FarCry and Max Payne 2 WXP. It works perfectly.

  I like Call of Duty 4. He funs all simply fantastic. I do not even use complete running. At the moment I think to upgrade RAM to have better running OS. in the end, I can say one thing: for the reasonable price, I have large notebook.

  Basically the title. Out of nowhere my Qosmio is underperforming by a draw. Used to have 100 to 120fps on LoL and stable performance on Borderlands 2/Max payne 3 for example still now I can't yet play 30 fps LoL. I updated my GPU drivers, nothing has changed. Any ideas?

  Looks like it could be probably switchable graphics, but it's weird, it's out of knowhere - check your Nvidea settings and make sure that your main GPU is defined to be used for the games and not the edge, it's happened before.

  Simply click the icon to access this Nvidea. If you have changed your drivers you may have reset the settings of the process.

  I prefer to put the * global * parameters for "processor Nvidea high performance"

  Also, check the power options of your computer (right click of the battery in the status bar icon) and make sure that it is set to high performance. Your computer could potentially revenue to a lower power state and if this is the case to happen on board graphics.

  If you don't have not already verified it that these things made me know how it goes!

• Preformance issues when you play on my Qosimo x 770

  I have problems of preformance by playing newer games on my Toshiba Qosmio x 770. Basically, everything works fine the first 30 to 45 minutes of play, but I'm suddenly start getting the temporary fall FPS, which usually lasts from 20 to 60 seconds before everything goes back to normal. The FPS fall occurs more frequently then the more I play, and eventuelly it comes to a point where I can't find it pleasant at all to continue playing. So far, this has happened when the game like Diablo 3, Max Payne 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

  My suspicion is that my (Gefore GTX 560 M) graphics card gets overheated as the computer gets very hot. Case of overheating, I think that the clocks autoamtically graphics card down, that eventuelly causes my FPS drops.

  I thought that the updated for my video card drivers would solve this problem, but they don't have. (I'm running with the latest 301,42 downloaded from the Nvidias homepage). I even bought an external laptop cooler to better manage the temperature, but the only thing it does is to buy me another 5-10 minutes of play before the start of the late development.

  I'm not good with computers in some way, but I really want to get my money's worth when playing computer games. What could I do to fix this? Any help would be much apprecited.
