  Don t think someone could help here in your case.
  No lights (power led, led battery nor ac DC plug-in led) means there could be a problem of serious material maybe the motherboard is missing.

  If the AC adapter is defective, then the laptop must always turn on using battery power ok, this is not possible if the battery would be too empty.

  So usually a technician first test adapter and should try to plug an AC adapter right in order to test this.

  But to me it looks like something wrong with a motherboard :(
  Of course, this is only my personal opinion...

  I had the same problem with my HD TV. What I've done has been updated my video card readers. I learned here that you must have your video card updated with HMDI and not by microsoft. You must go to the manufacture website and download it directly from there. I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 with an Intel 965 graphics card once I have updated driver for windows 7 everything started working.

• Printer no longer works correctly. When I try to print nothing happens, the documents are waiting but the printer is offline.

  I reinstalled the printer three times. It works fine when I first install it, and then when I try to use it later it will not be printed. I ran the resolution of problems and there was a problem it could not fix. The last time that I used it, I was trying to print, nothing happened. About an hour or two later the printer came herself and documents printed on its own. I was not even at the computer. I had the printer installed more than a year without any problems. This just started happening. The only thing I can think who might have caused it comes from our modem died and we had to replace recently.

• Font size set to auto but sounds different when the data are populated compared to typed manually

  I have a form where all the size of the font of fields is set to auto. When data are filled in the form in a custom program the font size appears different to the name and first name fields. When the same names are typed manually in the form (not filled in the custom program) the font size remains uniform. There is no coding in the personalized program to manipulate the fonts or the font settings. What could be the cause of the change in the appearance of the font size. Another interesting is that after the program fills in the data, I can click in the areas affected by this problem and the police will change to what it should be but set in the right size once I have quit the field. I also see that some fields when filled will not be characters fat even if the police is set to a bold font.

  When a font of a field is set to Auto, Acrobat/Reader dynamically adjust the font size to match what is entered. When not using Acrobat/Reader to populate a field, it belongs to the program to properly set the font size based on the value of the field. Adobe does not publish any algorithm they use to determine the exact size (depending on the font used and the coordinates of field), so that a third party should use a better estimate (or not even trying at all), that looks like what is happening in your case. When you click within a field by using Acrobat/Reader, the font size is adjusted dynamically, but because the value of the field does not change, it is not defined when the field loses focus.

  A possible solution would be to use JavaScript to record all the field values, reset the form and then fill in the form using the saved values, this would cause Acrobat correctly define the appearances of field.

  2 ways to recover...

  1 do a system restore. Use a date where the icons were present on the notification as your restore point area.
  Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish

• Epson Event Manager cannot find the scanner driver. Epson said that the event handler is a windows thing, and so is the problem.

  I installed an Epson Stylus SX215. I can print, scan and copy if I use another way, but if I want to use the event handler it says that it cannot find the scanner driver may not use the event handler at all (cannot yet open the program).

• Unable to start Vista, perhaps in connection with the event ID 3004?

  I'm running Vista (64 bit) on a Dell Inspiron 1440 laptop. For some reason it won't finish boot normally. This just started today. The laptop is only a few months old and I have not had other problems. I don't remember installing something new.

  I can boot into safe mode (even if it is very slow and can't run all applications). I tried Startup Repair (did not find anything) and for some reason any there is no restore point (how this happens?), so I can't restore it to the previous point time.

  Running sfc/scannow returns the result "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
  I can't understand how to get log (not that I understand it anyway but I wanted to post this information here...)

  (A) check the clean boot.
  
  A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  (1) perform the clean boot
  i. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
  II. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
  III. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
  IV. click the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box and then click Disable all.
  v. click OK.
  VI. When you are prompted, click on restart.
  VII. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

  (2) enable half the services
  (3) determine whether the problem returns
  (4) enable half of the startup items
  (5) determine if the problem returns
  (6) repeat the steps above until you find out which program or service is causing the issue
   
  After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

• No sound when connecting the Macbook Pro to ext speakers.

  I have a MacBook Pro (retina, 15 ", mid-2014) running OSx 10.11.6 (El Capitan).

  It has a combined audio port 1/8 "for two speakers and a microphone. The internal speakers work very well and the port works very well with a helmet. While I hear the windows starting noise and beeps (most of the time), I hear no sound of things like Media Player, CD, DVD and iTunes.   My apologies if this has been discussed in a previous thread. Think I remember reading about this process, sometimes back, but were unable to locate the information again.

  It depends on what version is on the sensor.

  SideNote: Security Monitor (SecMon) is the VM tool used to receive and view the messages. Identifiers (IDS MC) Management Center is the VM tool used for the configuration of the sensors. Many users often use IDS MC to signify the two IDs MC and SecMon.

  With sensors version 3.x, there is a process called the post office which transmits the sensor events to SecMon.

  If SecMon (or the post office on SecMon process) were to go down for a while, the process of the post Office on the sensor will store up to 1000 events in an internal queue.

  If SecMon return online then these event 1000 will be sent to SecMon.

  If more than 1000 events are generated while SecMon is declining WHILE the 1000 first events are queued and the most recent events will be abandoned by the sensor until SecMon returns to the top.

  Also these 1000 events are stored in the space of memmory post office. If the sensor is stopped or restarted these 1000 events will be removed memmory.

  Solution: If you believe you've lost events while SecMon is down, so there may still be a way to retrieve these events from the sensor by using a manual method. You must have configured the sensor to ALSO log events in the logs on the sensor. Then every time you think you may have lost events, you will need to manually download the log files of the sensor for this period. If I remember correctly, there is a script that can be run and then load these events into the database to display SecMon.

  With sensors of version 4.x, the process of the post office was replaced by EventServer. The events are placed in an EventStore. When SecMon runs it will connect to the EventServer and ask events. The EventServer will then access the EventStore to shoot events and send them to SecMon.

  The EventStore can contain several thousand alarms (on most sensors, the EventStore is 4 GB of hard drive space) which can be searched for via the EventServer.

  So if SecMon sinks events are always written on the EventStore on the sensor. When SecMon returns to the top, it simply links the EventServer and queries for all the alarms from the time at which it came down. EventServer ALL alarms will then draw in the EventStore from this point on.

  The only events that can be lost would be where there are so many events that he filled the EventStore (EventStore will automatically replace the oldest alarms with the most recent alarms when it is full).
