Hello
Have you tried to remove the Flash Player and then reinstall it again.
Or visit the Adobe Web site and check for updates.
I remember that I had no sound with the Flash drive until I upgraded to this drive.By the way; I also recommend you to install all the necessary codecs. I use the K-Lite Codec Pack that contains all the necessary codec s

No sound on YouTube videos since I updated from Flash Player. Anyone got a fix?
There is no sound on the videos from YouTube and videos on any other site that uses Flashplayer. Audio is well on sites that don't use Flashplayer. Have tried to reset Firefox, as well as the removal and reinstallation of Flash Player, but without success.
Thank you, but I had already checked the stuff related to the sound and figured out that the problem had to do with the plugin Adobe Flash Player (aka Shockwave Flash). I finally solved it by uninstalling Flash Player (using a special tool is downloaded by Adobe), the deletion of a bunch of files created by Flash Player in various locations on my computer and reinstall Flash Player. Instructions on how to do this can be found here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

After downloading Flash Player 20 lost all sound ELEMENTS
After downloading Flash Player 20 lost all THE Audio files on all applications (internet, streaming, DVD, etc.)
INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SYSTEM
Your Flash Version
- 20.0.0.267
Name of your browser
Firefox (NPAPI)
Your operating system (OS)
Windows (Windows 7)
Solutions
In addition to checking the sound levels on the mixer and volume controls, carried out steps on the Adobe solution list:
- Make sure that the latest version of Flash Player is installed
- Disable ActiveX filtering (if you use Internet Explorer 9)
- Enable Flash Player Add ons (if you use Internet Explorer)
- Make sure you have the latest version of Flash Player (if you use Chrome)
- Delete all Flash Player data mining
- Remove the Flash Player cache
- Disable hardware acceleration of Flash Player
Thank you.
Flash Player has not directly render all audio on your system unusable. It can not.
If you have not yet restarted, I would start there.
After the restart, if the problem persists, start by confirming this wiring to your speakers/headphones is correct, then move the settings of volume of windows, then Control Panel > sounds to make sure its good to output is used, then all Control Panel audio exclusive on the system.
If this does not work, I would go to the control panel > add/remove hardware and uninstall the audio card, reboot and let windows re - discover it.
If you're still stuck, I would call your computer manufacturer or the manufacturer of the sound card and go from there.

The update of Flash Player 20.0.0.267 in Chrome/Firefox/Adobe-Flash-Player, under specific environment which we have already applied in thousands of SWF files, we find 1) unable to stop playing the sound which is placed on the timeline by ActionScript "this.stop" in our running game and 2) it could also cause several sounds playing simultaneously causing a loud noise and crash suddenly on browser just in few seconds.
I did a test to demonstrate the problem (but not limited to this case, in fact):
1. in Adobe Flash Professional CS 5.5, start a new project of the 'New project' with the help of "ActionScript 3";
2. in the chronology of the scene, make sure we extended to exactly 2 frames;
Note: '2 images' are a must. The bug does not occur in "image 1" or "3 frames.
3. in the area of the stage, create a Movie Clip symbol, namely "symbol 1;"
4. in 'symbol 1', value 3 layers with timeline length about 30 images;
5. at the 'symbol 1', adds a rectangle to the keyframe in the layer 1 1, add a command Action "this.stop ();" image key 5 in layer 2, and set the "Sound" to key 10 in layer 3 image using any MP3, Sync-mode 'Stream' and 'Repeat' file, then close "symbol 1" music video;
6. make sure of course that the '1' symbol is placed in the stage space, and then save.
7. publish the SWF file.
8. open the output file with Flash Player 20.0.0.267 in any platform. The expected result would be an audio clip is played regularly, even if 'this.stop ();"was executed in front of her to reach the image to play the sound.
Here's how we reproduced a more serious bug inserting a code unrelated to the statement also:
9. close Flash Player has opened in step 8;
10 continue to edit the same file in step 1 in Flash Professional CS 5.5;
11. Add a new layer in the timeline of the scene;
12 Add an Action to frame 1 of the new layer with ActionScript "trace ('abc');";
13. publish the file SWF.
14 open with the output file with Flash Player 20.0.0.267 in any platform. The expected result would be a LOT OF audio clip played together causing a loud noise.
Here are the links for the FLA and SWF we produced in the experiment above.

I guess that any computer with the reader Flash 20.0.0.267 must generate the same result. We are always ready to just look for a solution.
We build more recent that we believe addresses the sound question (as well as the difficulties of previous bug provided in our last beta). We would appreciate your feedback from those that have taken place. I have included all versions of the installer in the link below.

A the speaker button to mute sound will be missing on the tabs with content Flash , so Flash Player version 20.0.0.235 is installed. It takes an update to Adobe to fix the problem, which only affects sites that use Flash. You should always see a button "speaker" on the tabs for sites that use a different media, such as YouTube HTML5 Playerplayer.
When it fixed?
Hello
The fix is available in the next version.

It is very strange, I think, given that everything worked fine before this last update from adobe.
Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance, Wilko.
Hi Jim,.
Yes that's exactly what I saw! I understand now, thanks to your post, that it is indeed a problem of Flash Player and I guess there's nothing else for me to do now but wait for the 'magical' ;-) update which will fix this little annoying feature of flashplayer...
Greetings, Wilko. (Netherlands) @.

New version of the flash player only showes a green background full screen with sound not picture
'green' stuff usually indicates an outdated graphics driver: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765, even though I think that Windows 8.1 should have enough new pilots. Check anyway.
