If I right click the "speaker" icon, select playback devices, I get feedback "no audio device is installed".

Hello

Have you checked the status of the sound card in Device Manager?
Try to reinstall the sound driver.

Unfortunately I can't find it for you because I know what operating system you are using.

    Hello

I have a strange sound disconection randomly on my laptop Satellite L750-1KU.

I read on the forum, but it seems that there is no solution for this.

My question is if there is a solution to our problem.

PD: my laptop serial number is YB233977W

In my opinion it's the wrong way to solve this problem. I mean I don't think that if it's a good idea to change parts of the motherboard, chips or anything else on your own.
You are 100% sure that there is problem with sound chip?

The same happens when you use headphones or external speakers?

  • Sound on Satellite L750 problems

Been a lot if problems with my laptop about his, the continuous sound cutting and can be easily activated by going on the sound settings and switch between playback and recording. I have insurance in place, but it only covers hardware and not software genius seem to national, it is a software problem. I was advice to buy a media recovery disk that taught my recovery partition was corrupted and reset once otherwise that the problem should be solved. just recovered laptop today of disc that I bought at Toshiba (not a knock off) and still having this issue.

I don't know what to do more I end up with a laptop that the sound keeps cutting on and my insurance doesn't cover it if it's a software problem, that is not my fault any Counsellor would be grateful

It's a hardware problem; defective transistor that controls the speaker cutout on the headphone jack.

If you plug and unplug a cable in the plug headphone speakers will be rekindled.

Search the forum you will find many more reports of the same problem, including users who were informed they had to replace the motherboard to fix the problem.

My L750-201 has developed the same problem after a year. As it was out of warranty I bought some external speakers for £10 because they are much better than the internal.

If someone tells you that it is a software problem they don't know what they're talking about (I'm a software engineer).

    Hello Jamie

It's a very bad situation now. I put t really know what you can do with it, but what you should try is to reinstall original recovery feature by image and test with the factory settings.
If possible, do this and post comments.

  • Satellite L750 - no sound on the speaker or headphones - static

    Hello

I have problems with the sound in my laptop for a few months. At first I thought that he would go away with updated drivers, which makes certain the alternatives system restore or changing audio device drivers high definition of Win 7, but I can't find a solution to this problem and today is getting worse. Right now, I can't have any kind of noise from the side if headphones or external speakers. Also, my sound disappears after 15-30 seconds of activity through the laptop speakers. I checked the forums and blogs on this issue, but still do not find a good solution for me.

    My model is:

    * Satellite L750-1VW *.
    * Code: PSK1WE-0U500ECE *.

I checked on other systems, headphones and external speakers. So my guess is the Jack is the problem or I don't know. Yesterday, I remember getting a download of update of windows and then, from there my sound started getting static electricity to the right of the speakers and headphones.

    * First problem *: no sound after 15-30 seconds to be active while watching videos (vlc, wma, youtube, etc.)
    * Second problem * (recent): static, crackling noise, the right side of external speakers or headphones

    Any solution to this?

I bought this laptop last year around may or April, can't remember the exact month. Thank you.

    Sorry my bad English.

In my opinion, your options are very limited and all that you have done so far is good. You can check the settings of the software, test it with the factory settings or use the PC diagnostic tool preinstalled.
Have you used this tool? He will check the sound of the waves on both speakers. If this is not the case, do.

Anyway, I don't want to speculate, but somehow I think that there is hardware problem and I think that contact you the nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and ask for help. They use special software for the material testing and can say with certainty what the problem is.
    Warranty is still valid?

  • Good question on Satellite L750

    Hello

I have a little problem with my computer, the Toshiba Satellite L750.

Whenever I turn on the computer, the sound will work for 4 or 5 minutes on the internal speakers.

After that his Cup. But this doc is weird is that the gauge moves, he did sound does not come out. For now, the sound works fine when I connect headphones or external speakers.

I tried a lot of solutions. I even installed Linux on another partition. In any case, the speakers will be stop after awhile.

+ The message was edited: assignment has been translated.

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. If there is no problem with headphones or external speakers somewhere I think there must be a technical problem.

Maybe his cuts off because the faulty cable connection.
Tis must be studied, so I think that the best solution for you is to contact Toshiba service nearest and ask for help.

  • Satellite L750 - audio service of Windows 7 crashes at random

    Hello

I have 1 laptop Satellite L750 and windows service audio crash randomly.
I have two install of windows 7, reinstall the driver of everything her several times, but the same problems.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

For me, this problem looks more because of Microsoft Windows system (probably his driver) and that's why I recommend you to check that the MS support community for possible solutions.

I found this post interesting in the MS forum:
[Associated Audio Windows crashes | http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-pictures/windows-audio-related-crashes/49a3634b-6dfe-4208-9c22-c8be6242b2ac]

After the 2nd post, reinstalling the audio driver should solve these problems.
In the case of workaround would not set sound audio problems, I recommend restoring the system to start until this problem begins to occur.

In the worst cases, you need to retrieve the laptop using the recovery disk, but I guess you should try the workaround solutions recommended by MS

  • No Satellite L750 volume controller series

I just bought a new laptop Satellite L750-A057 and found a design problem very stupid that there is no volume control. WINDOWS ONLY, so if I'm in a middle of any application full screen, I have to go out or come by the office to reduce the volume. and even for any other situation!

Thus, any recommendation on how could control the sound volume with for example function keys?

    > So, could any recommendation on how to control the sound volume with for example function keys?
If something like this is possible it must be good "Operating manuals" document.
    Have you checked it already?

  • Speakers cut out after 1 or 2 minutes on my Satellite L750

The internal speakers on my Satellite L750 - 16Z (PSK1WE) cut off after 1 or 2 minutes when playing any track video or music. The headphones work fine. The sound can be restored by plug it and unplug the headphones. The speakers work again with the new application, or after a long pause, then they cut. It happened that the computer is new, only after about 18 months.

I've seen dozens of posts on forums US of people who have this problem. I am running Windows 7 64 bit, but I see that people have the same problem with Windows 8. I have tried most of the proposed solutions:

    Reinstall the audio driver (in my case Conexant Smart Audio HD version 8.51.1.0);
    Closure, by removing the battery, etc.;
    Alternatively clicking on playback and recording in the settings dialog of the sound;

and * none of them recherche.* I'm not willing to do a system restore and the risk of losing my data. With the help of external speakers is not a solution for people who travel (would not have bought a laptop if I had to carry a suitcase full of accessories to make it work).

I should really grateful for the help on this

    {quote} The sound can be restored by plug it and unplug the headphones. {quote}
I got exactly the same problem with my laptop. But my laptop supports the Realtek HD audio driver.
However, the same problem occurred. By speakers disappeared but the helmet worked.

I m sure its software related issue. From my point of view of a few you would be able to resolve this problem by installing the new system, but it would be a very drastic just to get rid of this annoying problem procedure. I was able to solve this suite of this workaround.

In Device Manager, expand the Audio category video game controllers
Look here for the Audio device high definition and delete

Expand System devices and look for high definition Audio Controller
    Mark and remove it.
Also you could uninstall the audio driver Conexant. But in my case, it was not necessary.

After that, restart the laptop and wait for that deleted devices has been recognized and installed again...

    Good luck

  • DVD - rom click on Satellite L750-11W

    Hello

I have a Satellite L750-11W and every 4-5 min DVD - rom clicks... I'm sure the DVD clicks for the simple fact that the sound is similar to the noise during the closing of the DVD-rom and the sound comes from the top right corner (DVD-rom).

The HARD drive is in the lower left corner, and it's annoying.
I don't know why it is clicking.

Have you noticed the same behavior in the past until you have installed additional software (factory settings)?

  • Problem of speaker with Satellite L750

    Hello!

I had some problems with my internal speakers on my laptop Toshiba Satellite L750. I just got the laptop a few months ago, and so far, everything seems ok... except for the speakers.

So if I leave the laptop and put it on "sleep" or "hibernate", when I come back to turn on the laptop, the sound from the speakers gets all blurry and begins to lag... I end up having to restart the laptop just to get back to normal speakers.

No matter how long I leave the portable sleepers for - it might be 6 hours or 1/2 hour - almost everytime, I end up having to restart the laptop to solve the problem.

It is not that I have a big problem with restart - I want to say, if this is the way to solve this problem, it's quite well! It's just boring after awhile and I don't want that there is some underlying problem that could lead to other parts of the laptop is messed up, I'm just ignorant.

I'm certainly not a computer expert, but what I checked in the control panel and speakers news suggests that the speakers are working properly.

I do not understand why this is happening almost everytime. In with regard to the sound being blurred and trolling, it's either the sound of the songs I listen to WMP, or whatever it is I watch online, or sometimes even both.

Anyone has ideas or suggestions on what could be the problem and I could do?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    ? Thank you!!

Over the last ten years, I used several laptops from Toshiba but I ve never noticed anything like that and it shouldn't happen. After the awakening of speakers should work normally.

Are you using the original OS that you got with your laptop?
Have you noticed this strange behavior from the first day, or later?

Permanent reboot is not solution and maybe you should contact Toshiba service and ask for help. They should check this. What do you think of this?

  • Satellite L750 - impossible to recover anything from the CED

I have a Satellite L750. I called and received advice from TS.

I had suspected a virus and I wanted to restart from my CD that I created when I initially set the lap top up (I'm told that they are something of the image). I've learned to save and explained how to do this (I'm not warned technology; I know how to use the laptop for what I need, and that's all).
So I followed the procedure given by TS and made a back up it took quiet some time.

I contacted TS say again and again I have the CD I did again and I would like to save.
I followed the steps for me: hold the '0' key push down the on/off switch and wait - then follow the steps on the scree for 32 or 64 bit, and some hand it the WARNING came up... it happened and then it seems to restart.

When I asked help how really anything restart after that that it was not the support of security - and now I am unable to fix anything of the ERC myself nor I am able to recover something in the file 'back up' I - I made two more distinct (just in case).

I would like to know if I can recover/reinstall/import/use / copy the CD information
I did like the thing of the image

    AND

How can I restore/reinstall/import/use/copy my files from this file backup that always asks me to 'restore' when I chose never - and even after this more than 4 times I have no files?

I'm not at all intuitive in this area; I really tried to look on the internet without success...

advice advice or info would really appreciate at this point, I tried to solve this problem since 08:05 Queensland times today (Friday 16.12.2011)

I would like to thank in advance for their help

    Hello

Maybe it sounds silly now, but it is not easy to help with this. I think either it works or not.

Very portable can be recovered on two tracks:
-with the help of HARD drive recovery option (recovery image is saved on the HARD drive)
-using the created the CD or the DVD

If you use zero initially to the top, I guess you portable non-European. In any case try please to created once using more disks.
-Start your laptop and press F12 to get into the boot menu
-put the recovery disk 1 into the optical disc drive
-in the start menu, choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER

Optical disc drive will start to read the disc and you have to do is follow the menu on the screen.

Please do and tell us exactly what is happening.

  • His trouble on Satellite L750 - 1 hr (PSK2YE)

I have a sound problem impressive and weird: * his good play a while then suddenly stop *.
    + * Well, he stops only to built-in PC speakers * +.

My audio driver is Conexant, and I downloaded from [here | http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU].
What I tried for now to get him back:
    What plays the video/music:
-_stop/pause video or music after 4seconds press play again_
-_move to another application with audio (for example: if his collapsed in media player, go to youtube and ay some video.) it will be work_

From [this | http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU] download driver media I saw for my device are of 2 types of drivers. I tried both of them. Nvidia driver - has not worked for me.--

-I've updated my Conexant driver with that of [here | http://support.toshiba.com/sscontent?contentId=3156758].

_They returned to 'life' if I Plug and unplug headphones_

_underlined_ - means that it works.
-band - it does not work

Note: I can't send my PC Toshiba to check what problem is because I bought my unit of Italy about 2 years, I'm originally from Moldova, Republic of. So, the warranty I can't provide details.

Note 2: I searched the web and have not found a solution.
_The results only managed was [this | http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/Audio-Sound/Satellite-L750-sound-problem/td-p/396617].
_ But it seems that this guy has no answer for now too.

    For any question, please provide.
    Looking forward to help you.

    Thank you.

Can you please tell us more about your machine and how all this starts?
What operating system do you use? Do you use original OS that you got with your machine or a clean OS version?

I mean that your machine is two years old. Since when did you notice this sound issue?
    > Well, he stops only to built-in PC speakers.
This means that using headphones or external speakers, everything works correctly?
    > They came back to 'life' if I Plug and unplug the earphones
Input port is placed little switch that detects the external device and disable the internal speakers.
If I m remembering well in Conexant audio manager you can find the option to turn on/off.
Check it please all options and test it a little.

Perhaps this little is pass a real troublemaker.
