    • Using windows 7 ultimate, of the language traditional Chinese
    • you try to run a simplified Chinese program

It's just a hunch, but you can try to set the system to "simplified Chinese" in the control--> region and language--> administrative panel.

I guess this setting is specifically suitable for problematic programs like yours that I believe is designed to run only on systems in the language of the program. But if you use other programs of non-internationally-friendly designed for all other languages than in your system locale setting, after they in turn will show their evil characters.

So if I am mistaken about the meaning of this parameter, all programs supporting unicode will not be affected, but this setting allows programs no unicode you run too, all in one language at a time.

    Hello

    See if this helps you:

Search for malware, if necessary using the safe mode with networking.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-start-Windows-in-safe-mode/#Vista

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with the Boot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

Once in Safe Mode with network, download and run RKill.

RKill does NOT remove the malware; It stops the Malware process that gives you a chance to remove it with your security programs.

Then, download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware in Mode safe mode with networking:

It would be a good idea to run the System File Checker tool if you have corrupted files

"How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the files on system missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7"

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

If SFC detects serious flaws, you may need to perform a repair upgrade Installation or relocation complete if you don't have a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

  • ReadyBoost and 64-bit Windows Vista Ultimate

I have a desktop Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit.  This desktop system has 8 GB of RAM.

I have also a spare room jump drive (this one): http://store.lexar.com/?category=23&subcategory=36&productid=JDP4GB-431

Two questions: with 8 GB of RAM, ReadyBoost will improve performance?  8 GB of RAM or RAM that ReadyBoost will have no appreciable effect?

Secondarily, even if this USB is 4 GB, ReadyBoost is offering only the capacity of 2200 MB (2.2 GB) for this drive - this notwithstanding the reader is completely empty of other data.  ReadyBoost should not be able to take advantage of almost the full 4 GB of RAM offers this USB?

    Thanks in advance!

Hey readyboost is really for pc with less than 2 GB of ram. As readyboost was created to eliminate the use of copy turbo boost (you can get laptops lenovo in computers)... with that said you actually have lots of memory and even nearby go using that much used to the average PC user. Only if you're a gamer in HD really intensive 3D, or you go crazy with photo devlopment will you begin to use more memory.

in the truth and does most of the PC to run on 3-4 GB of ram. (4 the average user)
to be honest, I have 8 GB in my HP d5200t ATX (custom) and the only time I need more ram is when I do the scans in the background while burning blueray movies and play call of duty 4 (really good game).
So with 8 GB of ram, readyboost won't make a noticeable performance increase it might even slow it down according to your jump drives read and write speed.
    I hope this helps.

  • Hard drive problems Windows Vista Ultimate Edition

Well guys, that it left me speechless.  I recently inherited a laptop from a friend who is fairly new and in good condition.  The laptop, a Toshiba Techra A9, installed Windows Vista Ultimate.  The problem that I seem to have with the laptop is that it will start Windows in normal mode but gets up to a certain point and then hangs up.  I can hear the drive trying to be rolled up and continues to make a rattling noise, similar to a folder that jumps.  The funny thing is that I can turn the machine off and restart in SafeMode w / networking with no problems.  I tried a hard drive cool to think the problem could be a faulty drive, however, the new drive does the same thing.  I installed Vista via the Toshiba Recovery CD, and from the beginning for the first time Windows has frozen, the new hard drive making the same noise as the old.  Anyone out there have any ideas why this is happening?  Install a new hard drive and having the same problem son believe me that it is related Windows or I'll have another hardware problem elsewhere on the machine.  Thank you!!

Try to check the drivers on the computer to the hard drive. If you can, go to the MMC Console in computer management, go to the Device Manager, and then in the console tree, you should see a line of 'hard drives. Down there, you should be able to see your hard drive. Right-click and click Properties, then go to the drivers of the popup window and note the driver version number. Check on the Toshiba site and see if there are updates to the hard disk driver. If there is, then install it. In addition, you can start safe mode and run your antivirus, assuming that he himself has not been compromised. It seems to be a software problem or driver since you say that you can start safe mode. • Windows Vista Ultimate EXTREMELY slow

OK, so I installed Windows Vista Ultimate on my computer, I like it, but it is extremely slow.

The shape of plug the computer are as follows:

    AMD Sempion 1.64 Ghz processor

    480 MB of RAM

    HDD 40 gig

This should be enough to start. I wonder how can I speed up a bit I've run Diskcheck and defrag and Dick Clean-up with very little progress. Just don't have the money for the extra RAM right now either so if there is a way to speed it up without buying extra RAM, I would like to know.

It's no surprise that it is extremely slow. You have * way * too little
RAM and you will never get a decent performance with this amount. 1 GB
is the minimum necessary for performance * beginning * become
acceptable for people whose needs are very light (because their)
using the application is light). But for almost everyone, is at least 2 GB
really need or that you are satisfied with the performance.

In addition, a 40 GB hard drive is * small *. This isn't a performance problem,
but unless you do not do much with your computer, you will be running
more disk space very soon. You should have at least 160 GB or more.

  • 2 window vista Ultimate on the same computer.

Windows Vista Ultimate had some problem so I installed another a thought that whoever has the problem would be to replace it with the new, but he does not. So now I'm stuck with 2 Windows Vista Ultimate on my computer and it take so much space. So my question is: how to remove or uninstall Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. Even if you have a little idea, submit it.*

    Alyosha

    Alyosha,

Remove or uninstall Windows Vista is possible in specific scenarios. You please clarify how you did your installation of Windows Vista?

    1. have you installed your new ultimate configuration on a new partition?

    2. have you you choose customized and placed the installation in the same partition as your old ultimate configuration? In this case you see two Windows folder in your C: drive / drive (or any other partition)? (Possibly with the .old extension)

For installation of two operating systems to Windows Vista on two separate partitions study the following:

Before you begin you will need your Installation of Vista support

Start then in the version of Vista you want to keep and follow these steps to reformat the partition now unwanted Vista install and then uninstall.

    Note:

    • Formatting a volume will destroy all data on the partition. Be sure to make backups of all the data to save before you begin.
    • You cannot format a disk or partition that is currently in use, including the partition that contains Windows.
    • Quick format is a formatting option that creates a new file table, but do not completely overwrite or erase the volume. A quick format is much faster than a normal format, which fully erases the existing data on the volume.

    1. open computer management by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. in the Navigation pane, under storage, click disk management.

    3. right click on the volume that you want to format, and then click format.

    4. to format the volume with the default settings, in the format dialog box, click OK, and then click OK again.

Original title: I use Windows 7 ultimate.i have product key. now I want to farmat my computer.i want to know can I reinstall window 7 ultimate with the same product key?

    Yes, you can:

If you want to format and delete all data from the drive:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

To learn how to change your BIOS options to boot from the DVD drive, the following tutorial:

    http://notebooks.com/2011/05/05/How-to-load-BIOS-and-change-boot-configuration/

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

    Click on drive Options

Select the disc/s click on Delete

    Click new

    Click on apply

    Click OK

Click Format, and then click next to proceed with the installation

If you want to do a custom clean install and still have a chance to keep your personal data:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

To learn how to change your BIOS options to boot from the DVD drive, the following tutorial:

    http://notebooks.com/2011/05/05/How-to-load-BIOS-and-change-boot-configuration/

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

  • Intermittent problems of wireless connection in Windows 7 Ultimate

I recently bought Dell Studio XPS 1645 Windows 7 Ultimate edition. I am facing a frustrating problem with Wi - Fi. The connection is down and reconnect. I have the adapter Intel Wireless 5300 AGN and a router Dlink Wireless G I tried to update the latest drivers from Intel (Driver Version: 13.0.0.107), disabling IPv6 for all network interfaces, configuration of the wireless adapter to only use IPv4 and so on. I have 2 other systems with XP Professional on my home network. As soon as I start my Windows 7 laptop, the chaos begins. The router restarts every few seconds, other disconnected systems and so on. I have not found so far any solution on the internet that could solve this problem.

Other observations that may help to understand my problem:

    1. once my wireless adapter disconnects, the ping my router fails. It tells me whenever my system is asking for a new IP address.

2 Event Viewer displays multiple entries, which indicates that the DHCP could not get an address. The error looks like as follows:

The lease of the IP address 192.168.0.100 to the network with the network 0x00216A934EE2 address card has been refused by the 192.168.0.1 DHCP server (the DHCP server sent a DHCPNACK message).

It gets an IP address later, but I do not understand why my adapter tries several times to get a new address every few seconds.
DHCPNACK is the negative acknowledgement which router returns Win 7 DHCP client. I believe is that the client requests an address that is not available. Why would be client DHCP running on Windows 7 this?

    3. I have a D-Link WBR-1310 wireless router G with the latest firmware. Web sites of the reports that it is compatible with 32 and 64-bit Windows 7.

    4. I see no problems with the wired connection.

As I type this, which could take a few minutes, my wireless connection rolled 7-10 times. All ideas, experts?

If you need more information, let me know.

I was able to find the main cause of intermittent disconnections on wireless interface. According to the information I have collected on internet forums and my research, I did as a result of configuration changes that have stabilized the connection. These settings work when you have N wireless adapter and a B/G Router:

    The wireless adapter settings:

The driver for the most recent driver update.
Access the properties of your adapter wireless network and sharing Center.
Click on "Configure" and select the "Advanced" tab Make sure the following is in place:

1 channel 802.11n for bands of 2.4 and 5.2 width are set to 'Auto '.
    2 disable 802.11n Mode
    3. Ad Hoc channel 802. 11b / g should be 1 or even that you have configured on your router.
    4. Ad hoc QoS Mode, keep WMM disabled - disable the router too. My wireless connection is stable once I made this change.
5 fat Channel intolerant - disabled
    6. mixed mode protection - RTS/CTS enabled
7 roaming aggressiveness - the lowest
    8 flow Enhancement - active
9 transmitting the power - low
    10 mode wireless - 802.11 g

Uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" on the tab "power management."

    Other Configurations:

    1. disable IPv6 completely. Uncheck 'Internet Protocol IPv6' in the wireless connection properties window. Repeat this for every other network connection you have.
    2. make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your wireless router.
3 CTS Mode should be disabled in the configuration of your router 'Advanced Wireless' auto and WMM function.
    4. use only the WEP or WPA Wireless Security. Other methods have problems with 802.11n adapters.
    5. do not disable broadcasting of the SSID of your router. You don't need when your network is secure.

    I hope this helps.

  • Withdrawal of a second job no windows 7 ultimate operating system on drive "D" of my Acer laptop. How can I do?

I have a notebook Acer Aspire comes with Windows 7 Home premium and has started to act up, so I had someone to upgrade to Windows 7 ultimate, but the first installation works very well, so they have installed it again and it worked. Now when I start my laptop it invites me to choose an operating system on the listed two. The one I choose is on the 'C' drive and it works well, but the "D" player fails to start and will prompt you for the Startup Repair, I want to just remove it from my laptop. Could someone please tell me how.

    Oops - sorry

I realize that you still have the original OS (I think) and Win7 Ultimate adds another Partition

(thought you had replaced Home Premium with final).

Have not read your OP done properly I have?

Begin your Win7 Home Premium and go to disk management, and then delete the partition D:\.

(Type - disk management in the start menu search bar).

You can then reformat as a new partition.

Your laptop should always have the recovery for service partition, you may need to the

Version of HP that came with it is that need now or in the future.

Laptops usually come with a Windows CD. Instead they use the restore partition method.

BTW - "Ultimate" is not really an upgrade, the main difference is with additional security features, and

possibility to use XP MODE with old programs of the company which is not compatible with Win7.

  • The upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit for Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

    Hi Gang!

I have a laptop HP625 I want to upgrade.  There on the motherboard processor Dual-Core AMD Athlon II 9340 (2200 Mhz, 2 carrots, 2 logical processors), and I installed 8 GB of Ram.  I used the Windows Upgrade Advisor, and he indicated that he was a good fit.  Something weird or issues that I could keep in mind this clean installation of Windows 7 32 bit to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit?  I also use Carbonite for my backup.  Reason why I'm doing this is to allow the laptop to be able to work with higher end audio/video editing software.

    Respectfully,.

    Tim

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

You must also create a system image before migrating:

    http://www.notebooks.com/2009/10/24/how-to-backup-your-installation-of-Windows-7/

Boot from the Windows 764 bit DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.
