  • RoboHelp Skins Gallery disappeared

Hello - I have the TCS (first version with RoboHelp 7) and did a demo WebHelp. I got him set aside for other work, and now when I run the HR application none of the skins are in the gallery. I don't know how it happened, and I can't find anything in the Knowledge Base on this subject. Does anyone know a way to fix this, or what I have to uninstall/reinstall HR?

    Thank you!

    Daryl

There are several instances of this key, but it seems that everything is in place except the real files.

If you have another machine with the files, you can copy them, but otherwise I would go to add / remove programs (or the equivalent of Vista) and do a repair.

See www.grainge.org for creating tips and RoboHelp

  • Hello. Is it possible to buy a connector so that non-Apple laptop can plug/use my wife my Apple 27 "monitor even as I do with my MacAir? Thank you

Hello. I scoured my MacAir 2013 a 2015 27 "Apple monitor when at home. My wife has a non Apple laptop, is there a link that would also use the monitor as an additional display? Thank you.

You don't tell us what type of laptop connector of your wife is not how someone here would be able to offer a definitive answer?

  • Why is - one of my photos will not be open in windows photo gallery

You are using windows vista, none of the photos in my photo gallery of windows open when I double click to edit.  No message appears... just the hourglass as it loads the picture, but it never does.  I can open them in the paint but want to see what tools are available to edit through the Gallery instead

Click photo and hit the Enter key and see if the same thing happens.

You might be the only person who did not get recommended updates to windows as important updates?

Otherwise your ordinary library would have been replaced with windows live photo gallery.

Check for updates to windows, or you may be able to see if the fix program option exists in uninstall a program from your control panel.

  • Paragraph style keeps preparing for [none].

I have 19 pages sent me in trouble. Each is a product. Each contains information on the product. Different types of information have been put in text boxes. Each of these text boxes was given to a specific format that is used on all product pages. Several times now, the styles for the areas has been set to [none]. This causes all sorts of problems. Setting the box on each page back to the desired paragraph style is not very difficult, but the process removes any great scripts, indices and options of the ball.

What can I do to prevent reset paragraph [None] muse styles? There is a lot of work to keep setting things back.

Thanks for the reply. It turns out that there is a bug in the software that displays when you use 'copy the text formatting to all breakpoints' on a framework. In my case, it would be left to zero styles None when the Muse file has been saved and reloaded. I use a work around for now.

  • way not alphabetical to sort the images in the Gallery?

    Hi guys,.

has anyone of you found a way of sorting a gallery in any other form that alphabetically by file name? I'd love to sort the images by weight or by date added.

    Thank you.

The only way to do this would be to create a web application with fields for the

weight or date and use this web application as an image gallery. Then do a little

filtering by using javascript. It would be a good candidate for an app to BC.

There's a gallery app already out there which could be extended I guess.

  • How to apply non-wsdl base URL in OEG

How do register us a URL non-wsdl endpoint point based in OEG? We have had no problem in registration of a simple WSDL endpoint based on a server of the OEG. However, we are unable to find documentation on how to secure/register a RESTful or JSON - base URL of the service (SOAP, XML over HTTP-based service).

This feature exist? Or are there best practices on what to do with OEG for these types of services?

    Our use case looks like:

Akamai-> OEG-> OSB (WSDL, JSON type web services RESTful)-> .net service (WSDL, restful, JSON type web services)

In the case of REST and other non-WSDL-based services, there is no SOAP/WSDL web service based like registration process, you would use OEG as proxy. You can receive requests REST based OEG, retrieve the settings (there are has filters of convenience available for functions in OEG, policy library, 'Extract REST request Attribute', 'Validate REST filter', 'Create demand REMAINS' related to recovery of the values of attributes and other types of REST etc - search REST upstairs using the strategy Studio) drag it from the canvas, and then click Help for docs on these filters) and make routing to services of real REST endpoint. You have the possibility to receive and use the SOAP message as a basis for the generation of the REST url.

    REST to SOAP - http://www.soatothecloud.com/2008/11/how-to-convert-from-rest-to-soap.html
    SOAP for REST - http://markoneill.sys-con.com/node/1989916

Use with JSON: you can convert XML to JSON on the outbound side to serve as mobile clients etc. using conversions based on the script (standard XSLT) at the level of the bridge. Conversions in Java using google gson library is also an option.

To register for a REST service, simply map the path (e.g. ' / MyRESTService ') policy that you use to process the query of REST.

If you simply want to make a REST request via OEG (for example - OSB). You would create a policy (right click on 'Policies' and add it). Drag a "Static router" filter and place inside the host name and port of the host you want to route to (for example - OSB). Then right-click on it and choose "Set as starting point" so that it is the first thing that is processed for this request of REST. Then drag in a "Connection" and (with a green arrow) filter in the chain after the static router filter. The filter of "Connection" actually makes the connection to the backend host.

Now, map the path (using 'add a relative path') service and this REMAINS the case request to ' / MyRESTService ' or ' / MyRESTService/something "comes in OEG, it is routed to the backend host.

Deploy your strategy (using F6 or the "deploy" on the Studio policy toolbar button). Then send your request for REST.

There is in fact already a simple configuration of service REMAINS on OEG, called 'check '. If you point a browser to http://

If the REST of backend service returns JSON, JSON response will be simply sent through OEG.

  • Lost my photos.

I did a hard reset and lost all my photos that wer stored in Photo Gallery windows, as well as under documents. Can we ever recover my photos?

If the disk has been formatted and Windows has been reinstalled.
I guess that your photos are non-recoverable.

There is a * slight * chance than the freeware next or
other similar programs could recover some or all
your files. A Google search for File Recovery can find
    other options.

Hard disk activity increases the chances of on-
write the pictures then using the version of Recuva Portable
    may be the best option.

  • Need CSS help... Please

    Hello

I am a photographer who fights with DW CS5.  I spent a few hours trying to understand a CSS code, and I struck out.  I hope that one of the experts here will be kind enough to look and point me in the right direction.

I just installed a plugin to make a web gallery that will work well in Safari on an iPad or iPhone Lightroom.  (My main site is Flash-based, so it won't work on mobile devices.)  I'm trying to change some colors in the web gallery, and this is where I have a problem.

Here is a test of the mobile site (images of the sample, not the finals):

    http://www.johnblaustein.com/ipad_test/

I can set the page background color in Lightroom (c4c0b4), and I added my own identity with a matching background color plate.  (These correspond to my main site).

Q: what is the CSS code to change the color of the black bar at the top of the page, including all margins?

Q: what is the CSS code to change the color of the text in the black bar (text goes here if wanted)?

Q: what is the CSS code to change the color of the white background to select which album to see?

If you click on one of the albums... then...

Q: what is the CSS code to change the color of the black bar at the top of the page, including all margins?

Q: what is the CSS code to change the color of the text in the black bar (GROUP #)?

I'd appreciate really any help you can give me.

The CSS files are pasted below.

    Thank you very much!

    John

There is another solution, it seems, according to the screen size you can see here: http://css-tricks.com/snippets/javascript/redirect-mobile-devices/

It seems to me that might be a little more inclusive.

There are plenty of options to do what you want to do, but I don't him did not myself.  If this piece of code is not doing it for you, I would say this marker as replied and repost your question sepearately as, "What is the best way to redirect mobile?"  If you think that you get a range of options, then perhaps, including the possibility of not to do!

  • Is this large normal DNG file format?

    Hello

    1) I get this picture in RAW and then decided to convert to DNG cause, it is easier to use the DNG format as the original Canon RAW format. The DNG format is now 8Mb in size.

Now, the idea is to post-processing, the DNG in Lightroom, but I kinda need to do some pixel changes first in Photoshop and for that, I'll opt for the opening of the DNG format in Photoshop. As usual, the window pop up ACR and since I did not have to do any editing here, I'll just open a copy of the image (Alt + open). Before that, I configure the settings of openness, that I chose "sRGB; 16 bits; 240ppi"because I want to keep the more possible data.

I do my editing of pixels in Photoshop, save the image as a TIFF with ZIP compression and the file is now 52Mb in size. Which is a little strange because if I save the TIFF file without any compression, the file is only 58Mb in size.

In any case, I have then open the TIFF file in Lightroom and do all my editing necessary. When I finished, I want to keep this photo to DNG as opposed to TIFF cause I think it is a most versatile and for that format, I export as DNG from Lightroom (or I could convert the menu library). At this point, the size of the DNG file is like 43 MB and I still think that its way too big.

Is this normal file size? How is this new file has more than 40 MB? Is it because the file is 16 bit and there is no way around it? I think because save the same 8-bit, produced only 12 MB file with ZIP compression. But I still don't quite get it... I mean, all the data of the original RAW file installed on the first conversion to DNG with only 8 MB file, how will the other needs like 40 or even 12 Mo (if it is stored in 8 bits) when the original has only 8 MB? This becomes even more confusing when both files (the original DNG and the 16 bit TIFF) report as of 48 cases of depth, which means that the two are 16-bit files. Why the huge difference in size? I'm doing something wrong?

Above is the main question, but I have a couple more if you don't mind associated with the workflow described above. Please respond separatedly and listed as I did if this isn't a problem.

    2) as you can see above, I chose sRGB but I know that Lightroom works in ProPhoto RGB. Should I have selected ProPhoto RGB instead of sRGB when opening a DNG copy in Photoshop?

    3) no matter what the color profile, I select, save dialogue of the TIFF file after the Photoshoping as a little checkbox saying "ICC profile: xpto ' and if it is enabled, the color profile is saved in the TIFF metadata XMP part. Is it really necessary to save this metadata field or can I just ignore it?

    That's all for now

    A RAW is 1-color-by-pixel, maybe 12-bit or 14-bit.  A TIFF file is

3 colors per pixel and in your case, 16 bits per color per pixel.  If a

TIFF should be approximately three times larger than the RAW format, but there is

a compression without loss with RAW so the actual size is difficult to predict.

Agree with other people that can answer, it is better to use LR, first make your

adjustments, then as a last step, make any remaining editing in Photoshop,

Save as either TIFF 16-bit ProPhotoRGB if you're going to be a edit

further and save a copy as sRGB if you have finished editing.

ProPhotoRGB holds more colors than sRGB or AdobeRGB PP is 'better' as a

intermediate color space until the edition is no longer will be performed to

This time usually converting you to sRGB for viewing online or work with

in a non color workflow.  Here is a gallery of images that

    demonstrate why use of PhotoPhotoRGB:

    http://www.PBase.com/ssprengel/tech_colorprofiles

XPTO suspicious noises as a color space.  If you do not know how this

color space is assigned to your image in Photoshop, you need to understand

Why.  Out of Photoshop, I think a picture is

ProPhotoRGB (if you have not finished editing), AdobeRGB (if you're on a Mac or)

He's going to a printer off site there), or sRGB (if you have completed

Edition and it will be consulted online or locally on your computer and you are

    on a PC).
