Nonvolatile memory in SMU-8135RT

Is there a non-volatile memory in a high-8135RT that I could use to store persistent information as a number of series of tests?  I don't want to use a file on the hard drive because that can be crushed or erased after update of the operating system/reformat.

I have as well other maps if they could have some NV memory that I could access:

Of FlexRIO

PXI-6281

Thank you

The SMU-7966R has a non-volatile memory user FLEURIDAS, a section of the flash on the card can store arbitrary attributes (I think that all FlexRIO FPGA modules have, in fact). You can access it using the screw in \FlexRIO\FlexRIO_HostInterface.llb

The screws are called FlexRIO_Host_CustomAttributeWrite.vi and FlexRIO_Host_CustomAttributeRead.vi

  • Printers with nonvolatile memory

I work in a hospital where we have several models of HP printers.  For the purposes of compliance with the confidentiality of private medical information, I need to know if one of the following HP printers have a non-volatile memory:

LaserJet 3015 Laserjet 3380, Officejet Pro K5400, Laserjet 2430tn and Business Inkjet 1200.  Where can I find this info?

    Hey,.

You should be well on these models, as none of them mentioned in the specifications of the product they had a bench of memory HARD drive style.

    Good luck.

  • How can I turn a channel in the SMU-6556 hsdio for material comparison mode?

    Hello

    I am developing a system with Labview2013, TestStand2013, and SMU-6556

    The system diagram is:

    SMU-6556 > - 12 channels - 3---> Dut1

    Hardware compare mode:---3 channels---> Dut2

    | - 3 channels---> Dut3

    | - 3 channels---> Dut4

In TestStand, I have the following configuration:

    1. in the "Setup" section I'm loading ~ 10 digital waveforms with 12 channels each in memory of SMU-6556.

    2. in the section 'Hand', that I'm running in hardware compare mode each digital waveforms. (DWF1, DWF2,..., DWF10)

The system works well for test of 4 had.

Without loading a new wave form how can I enable/disable underwent?

For example, how can I configure to test only the dut1 and dut3?

    HELO engfpe,

You can see the advanced, advanced attribute: hardware compare: bit Error Cumulative property and see if that will get your request.

Cumulative error Bits will tell you what mistakes HWC product channels even if the FIFO is full. In this way, you can at least know where to pass the ASE. If it fails and you would like more information, then you should always charge the waveform in order to get a manageable number of HWC error, but hope that helps at least. This feature was added in NOR-HSDIO 2.0, so make sure you have the latest driver.

    Hello

Unfortunately, business machines such as Probooks or EliteBook have more strict security consumption patterns - they do not produce "stop codes", the password cannot be derived from the serial number and the code is stored in a nonvolatile memory to remove the RTC cell does not reset the password in this case.

If you Contact HP Business support they should be able to send you a file custom SMC.bin that you can use to reset the password at startup.

  • Constant panic kernel_task - Mac

Hello, can someone help me identify the problem for re-occuring kernel_task panic? I several times a day for the most part, when the computer is closed and sleep. I sometimes other panics and restarts where the main reason stated in the report that is noticed or Photos.

I got my computer twice to the approved service but they only run the hardware tests that showed negative issues.

They did own OS X install twice and I did not recover the backup system, but transferred the data only as a copy. There are only original material installed and no software other than Apple one.

I tried the memory resets, recovery mode (now D) and the other stuff found here.

Thank you for your advice. MIC.

This panic was not caused by a third-party software. If the problem recurs, the possibilities are:

    1. A stale or corrupt kernel cache
    2. A damaged OS x installation
    3. A flaw in a device, if applicable
    4. Corrupt the nonvolatile memory (NVRAM)
    5. Internal hardware failure (including incompatible memory)
    6. Obscure bug in OS X

You can already have excluded some of them. Some may not be applicable.

Rule # 1 by starting in safe mode , then restart as usual. Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a Fusion drive or a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

You can exclude #2 and #3 in reinstalling the operating system and tests with non-essential devices disconnected and removed aftermarket expansion cards, if any. Sometimes a clean reinstall may solve a problem which is not resolved by reinstalling in place.

Corrupt the PRAM, which causes panic from time to time, may be excluded in resetting it.

If your model has replaceable memory by the user and you have upgraded modules of memory, reinstall the original memory and see if there is any improvement. Make sure not to touch the Gold contacts. Clean them with a mild solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Spare memory must exactly match the technical specifications of the machine.

Apple diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test, as generally unreliable, sometimes detects a fault. A negative test may not be depended on. Run the long version of the test, if necessary.

More than a screen connected is another trigger for OS X bugs reported.

In the category of obscure bugs, damage the data on a file server, such as a Time Capsule backup - can sometimes trigger a panic. If necessary, remove all the network devices and see if the panic stop. If you use Time Machine, disable it temporarily in its preference pane.

Otherwise, an appointment of 'Genius' in an Apple Store, or switch to a different service provider authorized to have the tested machine. You may need to leave for several days. He is not much of interest to do this, unless you can reproduce the panic, or if you can't, it happens quite often that he is likely to be repeated at the store. Otherwise, you can be said that everything is fine.

Print the first page of the report panic and take it with you.

This panic was not caused by a third-party software. If the problem recurs, the possibilities are:

    1. A stale or corrupt kernel cache
    2. A damaged OS x installation
    3. A flaw in a device, if applicable
    4. Corrupt the nonvolatile memory (NVRAM)
    5. Internal hardware failure (including incompatible memory)
    6. Obscure bug in OS X

You can already have excluded some of them.

  • HP 6530 b: administrator Bios password

    Hello..

I can't access bios configuration of hp 6530 b notebook.i have no hp spare key and a TI administrator, I do not know the password of the bios. I want to format the laptop, but not to boot from the CD.

    Help, please!

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite L650 - Fan not kick (work) after the fashion 'sleep'

    Hi all

The fan does not work when you restart the standby mode, but only after complete closure.
What causes this and how can I solve this problem?
    Toshiba L650 - 170 system unit

    Thank you!
    Luke

    A number of questions:
Have you noticed the fan operating with the preinstalled Toshiba system problem?
Have you noticed this first day of purchase?

The Satellite A660 is a little old and already abandoned the model and therefore, it would be interesting to know if something has changed in the past

Anyway, there are different modes of sleep (sleep is divided into four States, S1 to S4)

S1, to suspend him (POS): all processor caches are flushed, and the CPU stops the execution of the instructions. The power of the CPU and RAM is maintained. Devices that do not indicate that they must remain lit, can be turned off.

S2: CPU power off. Dirty cache is emptied to the RAM.

S3, commonly known as secondary, sleep or Suspend to RAM (STR): RAM remains powered.

S4, hibernation or Suspend to Disk: all content of main memory is stored in a nonvolatile memory such as a hard drive and is turned off.

Using the Powercfg command you will be able to check this "standby" and might it change too.
    Details here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powercfg
It would be interesting to know how "sleep" you use exactly and if the fan would be using a "sleep" mode
