• Why have I not of huge amounts of data in the "JUNK" and "INBOX" files in a subdirectory of "folder? Profiles/*.default/Mail/

  Today, I went looking for records in my computer containing files larger than 300 MB. To my surprise, two records that presented themselves are in... / AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/pt66rib2.default/Mail/mail. (my server). There are 355 MB of data in the "Junk" file (which has no file extension) and 577 megabytes of data in the "Inbox" file (which has also no file extension). When I open the files in the laptop ++, I found that the data is every email that's ever been in my Inbox. (Gee, I wonder if the it Department to the IRS has never thought to check there for lack of laws Lerner emails?) For the record, I suggest all my messages in my Inbox and 'Empty junk' into the Junk folder (in the Thunderbird e-mail program) every day. Why is-all data still here? What is the fastest way to remove or erase data?

• Not ready external hard drives after reboot

  You have a weird question, or perhaps I should say one on that I can't find something. I've dealt with it for years and finally had enough of it. Rarely, I restart my Mac, do not need, is not something that happens often. But on the question.

  I have an iMac of 2015, internal SSD, or merge, I suppose, and a couple of external hard drives attached. Both are 4TB readers, by USB (for backups) and FireWire (for data, applications, iTunes library, photos, etc.). Both work perfectly during normal use.

  The question is when I reboot. My hunch is that these external drives are not fill their mental health checks / faster the drive internal system files, and when the OS is logged in, all the stuff on my external drives (in this case, my iTunes library) is not found. Of course, everything I do is point iTunes to the external drive and everything is fine (well, that and tell him where to find my wallpaper because it doesn't by default mountain landscape photo!).

  So I'm wondering - is there a way to delay the start of the BONE or the final control until external drives are online? Not a huge problem, but why not. I'm tired of fixing stuff when I reboot. Or else, is something to not configured right and the cause? Hmm.

  I recently picked up some laptop second hand and projects for free time and learn a little more. One of them is a Lenovo 3000 N100. I'm not sure of the exact model as the COA sticker is worn. The laptop came without RAM, a hard drive or battery! I am aware that this may be more effort than its worth, but wanted to give it a go...

  With RAM installed, shows the white startup Lenovo screen (sometimes quickly, sometimes takes forever) - if I press ESC, then the following information is displayed:

  Unknown project ID! BIOS version? 61ET32WW

  CPU = Intel (R) Celeron (R) M CPU 410 @ 1.46 GHz

  1023 M system RAM passed

  1024K Cache SRAM Passes

  System BIOS with a shadow

  Video BIOS with a shadow

  CD ROM...

  Initialized the mouse

  Pressing F1 or F12 does nothing.

• Movies transferred to Mac will not play audio

  I have some videos from my laptop that I saved on my desktop Mac. They had audio on the laptop but now I noticed there is no option for sound on the Mac, but the videos play without a hitch. Now this is not a huge problem except that my laptop recently crashed and I can no longer log in and access my files. Then these videos are, roughly speaking, no longer needed. Is there any application or any situation to extract audio lost for my videos?

• Yoga 2 Pro will not arrested or sleep

  I can't the Y2P closing or sleep. When I try to close it powers off the coast, but after 2 seconds it turns on and starts. Same thing when I try to sleep.

  Help, please! I tried pretty much everything I could find online including the following:

  Turn off wake on lan on the network card

  Turn off auto restart on windows errors

  Bios update

  Updated drivers

  Disabled all non-microsoft services

  Reset of the operating system

  Went through each device in devices and off Manager "allow this device to wake the computer".

  powercfg /lastwake (shows nothing)

  Someone at - it other suggestions on solving this problem? Closure is not a huge as case pressing the power button then it will stop. But not being able to sleep the laptop when I close the lid is a deal breaker when the battery constantly.

  After exhausting all options, I could find or think that I decided to return the Lenovo laptop for repair. Apparently, it was the right choice. Although I am not satisfied with this response, at least I know this isn't a configuration problem or the software and that I would have never solved the problem on my own:

  If you have a similar problem and you have exhausted the configuration and software/driver solutions, its probably a defective laptop. If it is under warranty send it in for repair.

• Taskbar not clickable when I start up.

  I recently restored my computer laptop back to factory settings a few days ago and when I turned it on I couldn't click on anything on the taskbar. I rebooted my laptop to see if it was just a bug, but when he started toward the top this happens again. This happens only when I first start my laptop and not when I wake up from sleep mode. The only way I could make it work again was to alt + ctrl + DELETE and start the task manager then just exit and it still worked. • Ripple can not build app Playbook: the system cannot find the path specified.

  Not a huge surprise here, but I tried to compile my app for Playbook in undulation. After following all the steps of downloading all the SDKs, get and save new keys, have all the files in place, etc.. Ripple can simply with:

  Oh Snap! Build request failed with message: The system cannot find the path specified.
  

  Without rhyme or reason. No way to detect what it is. Ripple is dangerously wrong sometimes. And the "Oh Snap!" part is terribly boring.

  I was able to build the application via command line (which requires you to make a zip file of everything manually... * sigh *).

  Anyone know how it is possible to debug?

  Assuming that the Tablet is the installation folder which includes bbwp and jre, you'll want your SDK path pointing there. Example:

  C:\BBWP\tablet

  For example, my Tablet SDK is installed in this folder that is used in my Path SDK:

  C:\Program Search SDK WebWorks Motion\BlackBerry to Tablet 2.2.0.5

  Note that I am assuming that your path refers to the folder that contains bbwp.exe, but you really want to make a folder of higher level.

• ComboBox does not send keyboard and no event click the menu drop-down.

  I use a ComboBox to search in my application. The application is a periodic table, then the user will be able to search by name of element, atomic number or a symbol. The ComboBox control is working very well, I just have two questions that I was wondering if someone could lead me in the right direction. The first problem is that, when a user clicks the ComboBox for a search entry, the keyboard does not dispatch. The user must use the native swipe gesture to display the keyboard. This isn't a huge problem, but I would really like to work for when the user clicks the ComboBox keyboard is distributed. IV ' e looked in this and concluded that it should work, ComboBox with a property TextInput keyboard should appear, but it doesn't. I also discovered that it is impossible to show/hide the keyboard with the code. I use FB 4.5 and 4.5 Flex and the most recent SDK Tablet from BlackBerry. Y at - it a bug or something?

  Also my other question is once the user starts typing in the search, the filter works great and the drop down displays all of the possibility. But my only problem is the user cant just click and the item in the drop-down menu. For example when the user types "A" all items that begin with a show upward in the drop down menu. The user cannot click on an element. The only way that the element can be selected is if the user continues typing the word until it is highlighted as the only option and then enter hits. This too is not a huge problem, but I like it to work so that if the user types 'A' they can do scroll down the menu and select the item they want. IV also looked into this and can't seem to find anyway to drop down the combobox list have a click event. I'll put a code later that you can see what I mean better, but for now its kind of a general questions. I use FB 4.5 version release and flex 4.5 with the new SDK of BBT. If someone can point me in the right direction, or send me any article that would be GREAT. Thanks in advance!

  It is probably easier than you think:

  1. Create a text input control
  2. Add event listeners when the control is changed ('change')
  3. Maintain an internal table of valid matches
  4. On the change event listener, browse each item and make a match that makes sense.  For example, to cut spaces beginning and end and do a string comparison of tiny out based on the length of a text entry field.  For example, if the user types "vel", which would correspond to "Developer" and "velcro".
  5. Create a list control that is displayed once the person begins to type.  Place it under the control of text entry.  Use the local to global changes in coordination and the size of the width of the list of the same width of the text input.
  6. # 4, dump all the data of the list data provider and add items to it based on string matching.  If no match or the text input text is empty/void/null, do not show the list.
  7. If the user selects an item in the list, hide the list, enter the selection to text entry and then send an event that the entry is "finished".
  8. Listen to the event "full" text of entry to perform what you wanted.

  Of course, if anyone can suggest how to get the Combox to work, go ahead.  I have just a habbit to create controls to achieve the appearance and the behavior I'm looking for.

• My computer will not sleep, the display shuts off for a while but the fan still works and the keyboard lights stay on, and then eventually he dies just

  Imen quite so much as the title, when I try to put my computer to sleep the screen turns off but the computer is still running. My computer is a HP pavilion dv6 is a little more than 3 years. He used to do whenever a while, but now it's every time I try to pause. I'll close the top cover, but the fan still works, the hp on the lid logo light remains lit, and if I reopen it cover the power light is always on and the lights on the keyboard caps lock and wireless keys. The same actions occur when I try to put it to sleep manually (from the start menu). It does not at all I have to do another that now hold power, but even when I do nothing, it will stay here like this for awhile and then just turn off completely.

  When it starts up, it gives me the options to start in safe mode or start normally, and when I am connected and it gives me the "windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown", I see that there is a minidump file in windows that has something to do with it. I tried to search for the file and the problem together, and then each separately, but nothing I've seen described really my problem, so I thought I should just ask on my problem.

  I read what made other people, changing advanced power settings, changing the media settings, etc. and did those things, but to no avail. It's not a huge deal, because I can just turn off my computer whenever I'm done with it for now, but I don't know if it's a bad omen for the future of my poor computer. So if someone could give me a hand with this point in mind, I'd be very happy. Let me know if provide more details (OS, processor, my favorite color, social security number, etc.) that would make it easier to solve. Thank you

  My learning curve is showing - I thought about it. I'll let my mistake here so that others can learn.

  For some reason, a filter had been applied to a single audio clip - NOT in the audio mixer Panel, but on the item itself.  I'm just learning that first allows you to see at a glance if audio FX is applied.

  I have the first configured to display audio in the timeline panel.  And there's a little bitty box in the upper left corner of each audio file with the letters "fx".

  If there is no fx applied, these letters are gray.

  If the volume or pan has been applied to this clip, these letters are yellow.

  If another plugin is applied (as was my case), these letters are green.

  I figured this out after watching every single audio clip in my calendar.  I found that the plugin mentioned above - the dbx 160 - had in fact been applied to a clip.  I took it off, and the error message from my original post disappeared.

  I hope I can get an answer to this. It is not a huge problem, it just messes with workflow and as such is quite annoying!

  The problem is with other versions of Indesign, you can press "command + Alt + Shift + D to duplicate an object as many times as you wish. I tend to use this function a little. However with the release of InDesign CC the keyboard shortcut seems to no longer work. I can go to the Menu change and use the duplicate feature it... (the keyboard shortcut command is sitting next to the word again), but it's quite inefficient when you want to duplicate an object 25 + times. Someone else this problem? Is it possible to get this function to work?

  I also work on a Mac with InDesign CC 2014.2. I am running Yosemite. I also noticed that this keyboard shortcut does not work. I can't see an obvious conflict (such as the system of shortcuts).

  Try using edit > Edit keyboard shortcuts to assign a different shortcut. On a Mac, you can use the Ctrl key, which is not usually used. CTRL-D works very well for me.

  First of all, I would like to apologize if this question has been answered, but I couldn't find the answer to my related question.

  I am running 11.2.0.2 EE on Solaris 10.

  My problem is that we have a table very heavily used in an OLTP database that includes the columns that are regularly used in queries.

  These columns have very low cardinality and seem to be an ideal candidate for the bitmap index.

  But since we have so much activity on this table, I fear that it will be counterproductive on inserts and updates.

  I guess I also need to rebuild the IMC every night with the volume of business that we have on the table.

  The table is not a huge table and has only about 5 M record.

  We have also a history table that regularly has about 25 M records and would probably also benefit by having a BMI, but again, I have fear of the impact of BMI is when large jobs making insertions are made on the history table.

  Any ideas how to weigh whether it would be beneficial or not having the BMI is on the main table?

  I can test the use of BMI in our test database, but I can't simulate the normal load of users on the table to determine the impact of the performance.

  Bitmap indexes are not suitable for tables that have a large number of small insertions, deletions or changes that change the indexed columns - so your main table of 5 M of lines is not a good candidate.  However, OLTP systems tend to have queries more predictable than DSS or DWH, if the fact that you have a lot of columns 'low cardinality' (i.e. columns with a relatively important lines by the key value) may not be a problem if you can identify a few multi-column indexes and build them with compression on the main columns.  It is also interesting to note that even if you create the index b-tree on individual columns (even once, you would use compression), the optimizer can do "tree / conversion of bitmap" to optimize the use of these indices.

  History with 25 M lines table may be a better candidate if all what you do is inserts block with large table sizes - it can be done effectively, even when you have the index bitmap in place - and you can see that with a sufficiently broad framework for PCTFREE (eventually 51) when you initially create the index the index to stay in some sort of constant of size - only more in line with the evolution of the data.  If you are unlucky, you can find some of them unreasonably expanding quickly, then you can end up doing a daily load with a weekly reconstruction (for example).
