  You know what they say "is not a question of if, but when.  I had a redundant backup system for my files for several years now.  I have a 3 TB drive desktop and laptop that I support each other up to a 2 TB.  Recently, I upgraded my computers HD and needed to create a mirror image of the old HD.  So in a moment of weakness I formatted the external HD which put my image of mirror and is gone to work, my laptop HD, which is now my only copy at all, had a problem and all my pictures have disappeared.  I called Transcend and gave me the recovery software and I ran and more 300 000 recovered files. implemented in recup_dir 635 files.  When I called them, they said, I had to sort through them to find what I need.  I looked at my now confusing LR and it says there are almost 64 000 missing photos, not really a PIN in a haystack, but as close as I ever want to be that.  Someone has an idea or experience on how best to go about this?  I'm in trouble...   I have no idea what fixed my problem, but this morning the 3G logo on the top right of my phone has changed for a 3 g one (tiny g). I thought something was up, then I restarted the phone Mr. then I got a Blackberry message saying that my device was placed on the network.

  I just got a phone of a person who has identified one a technician for Windows.  He entered a dialogue seermed as if he was familiar with the recent problems with my computer.  (I did several searches online for answers of support recently from this site).  He kept asking questions about allowing their technicians to help me with my computer.  I asked for a callback number.  He couldn't or wouldn't give me a.  The call number is blocked. He finally admitted that he was not related to Microsoft, but rather by a www.onlinebusyexperts.net company. Just a warning do not allow access to your computer or give it to any password, etc..  They are just trying to sell technical support coverage.  This look like a call out of the country, based on the focus, etc.

  The column for the response of the database table is varchar2 sense it's text, but when you supply a value like 123 (a pure number), the database will think that you are trying to insert an integer into a field of varchar2. Add the quotes will make think it's the text instead of a number.

  Hi, I am not sure if my problem started with the recent updates on my iPad iOS, but it certainly was a recent development. I can no longer keys and make them repeat. Key repeat is enabled in general/accessibility/keyboard (and I tried different settings; no change) and it works with my Bluetooth (a case of Belkin keyboard) keyboard or the on-screen keyboard.

  Another oddity is that with the Belkin Bluetooth keyboard I can no longer delete whole lines of text in Safari using the command + DELETE or remove one word at a time by using Alt + Delete. I have to delete one letter at a time which is quite painful when there's a lot of text to be deleted. It works normally in my other browsers iPad (I might just switch to one of these other browsers but Safari is the best for my needs).

  I tried "Reset all settings" but that did not help. I also tested it with another keyboard Bluetooth, no change.

  Under settings/general/keyboard, the only things enabled are spell check and turn on caps lock, shift, and that a single keyboard is listed.

  Does all this sound familiar to anyone? I searched a lot of answers but found no other mentioning these particular issues.
