  This preference can be changed by typing about: config

  (1) type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter (click the button promising to be careful and please be careful!)

  (2) in the filter box, type or paste the Search and pause until the preferences are filtered

  (3) double-click browser.search.openintab to change for real. You're done, you can close all: config now.

Recently, rather than posting the photos on a photos storage provider and publish them to facebook, I've published on facebook and then related site (select the link to photos). When I click on a link, I get a blank page in the framework. When I click with the right button on the link and select open a new tab, or open a new fenΩtre happens. I do not think that I screwed up to the top of the html... in fact, I think I just change the links to previous entries that were in fact related to PhotoBucket or similar.   I just got a phone of a person who has identified one a technician for Windows.  He entered a dialogue seermed as if he was familiar with the recent problems with my computer.  (I did several searches online for answers of support recently from this site).  He kept asking questions about allowing their technicians to help me with my computer.  I asked for a callback number.  He couldn't or wouldn't give me a.  The call number is blocked. He finally admitted that he was not related to Microsoft, but rather by a www.onlinebusyexperts.net company. Just a warning do not allow access to your computer or give it to any password, etc..  They are just trying to sell technical support coverage.  This look like a call out of the country, based on the focus, etc.

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

  What you suggest is possible but it takes software and third-party quality loss.

  Instead, export a QuickTIme movie. If you have a choice of codecs, choose Apple Intermediate Codec. You can save it where you want it-maybe in the movies.

  Then import the movie into FCP as a clip.

  You know what they say "is not a question of if, but when.  I had a redundant backup system for my files for several years now.  I have a 3 TB drive desktop and laptop that I support each other up to a 2 TB.  Recently, I upgraded my computers HD and needed to create a mirror image of the old HD.  So in a moment of weakness I formatted the external HD which put my image of mirror and is gone to work, my laptop HD, which is now my only copy at all, had a problem and all my pictures have disappeared.  I called Transcend and gave me the recovery software and I ran and more 300 000 recovered files. implemented in recup_dir 635 files.  When I called them, they said, I had to sort through them to find what I need.  I looked at my now confusing LR and it says there are almost 64 000 missing photos, not really a PIN in a haystack, but as close as I ever want to be that.  Someone has an idea or experience on how best to go about this?  I'm in trouble...   good to explain it.  All my photos were on an external hard drive that

  has failed.  So I called the Transcend tech and they gave me the software to

  the files, in fact he recovered 370 000 files and I need to sort
