    You probably need to run the installer as administrator with elevated permissions to correctly make the necessary registry changes.

    Uninstall the program via the applet of Add / Remove Programs of the Control Panel then locate the installer from the disc or download and right click and select run as administrator. Acknowledge the UAC confirmation and provide credentials if required, proceed through the installation normally.

    Microsoft Streets & Trips should operate normally after completing the installation.

  • Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate and highway 2010 receives the error: "your registry settings for this application no were not copied correctly."

    I updated from XP Pro to Win7 Ultimate.

    "Your registry settings for this application were not copied correctly. To correct these settings, run the installation of this application from the location where you originally installed it. »

  • ObjectUtil does not copy correctly

    I'm using an ObjectProxy for a complex object containing arrays of objects. I bind a datagrid to the table and. notation to the fields. This set works very well, behaiving datagrid has properly, insertions and deletions work properly.
    I want to have an undo function that will put the objectproxy object to its original state. So when I open the screen with the datagrid control, I do an ObjectUtil.copy () and use the latter if the user wants to undo changes. The problem is that the copy does not have a complete copy. In the object is an ArrayCollection of objects userdefined collection. These objects instead to be copied as their type are copied as mere objects.
    The meathod of serialize uses the copy don't can not types of objects defined by the user.
    Should I create clone or copy the methods for each type of object that I have?
    If so should I just do ezxternalizable? How the copy objectutil will take these methods?
    Thank you
    Jeff

    Unfortunatlly, you'll need to implement for each class that has complex objects, like he doesn't know how to deal with them. Your classes need to extend EventDispatcher and/or implement IExternalizable.
    Then create methods methods, writeExternal and readExternal for all you must keep local variables. for example...
    public void writeExternal(output:IDataOutput):void {}
    output.writeUTF (msgString);
    output.writeObject (anyObject);
    output.writeInt (id);
    }
    public void readExternal(input:IDataInput):void {}
    msgString = input.readUTF () as String;
    anyObject = input.readObject () as Array;
    ID = input.readInt () as int;
    }

    Note: Make sure that the AC adapter cable is not plugged into a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source. It should be directly into a wall outlet. Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some problems.

  • Recent items in Vista does not update correctly

    I have a problem that the recent items on the Start Menu is not updated correctly.  There are a few documents out there, but there are many who don't are not who should be.  If I right click on the recent items and choose explore I can see a lot more files in the C:\Users\Pete\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent folder.

    For example, there are few. XLS and. DOC files that I opened recently but don't are not.  However when I explore the folder I can see a shortcut to the directory that contains the missing files.

    I tried many combinations of physically erase the folder, by activating / disabling the option elements recent etc, but nothing helped.

    Thanks in advance

    I had the same problem. I fixed it by deleting all entries, except the default entry, in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RecentDocs in the registry. There are a bunch of other entries which are numbered for each of the files in the list of recent items. and the entrance to MRUListEx. Delete it all. Unfortunately, there is no file name but only entered, HEX numbers and letters. After doing this, Windows has started listing the files in recent Articles that were not show up there before.

    I found that the problem has followed a couple of files that were present in recent Articles when I cleared the list a few weeks earlier. After these files are not present in recent items, but rather the shortcut to the folder appears. Also, I've found that the problem was with the actual files, not the folder. I opened the 2 files, Excel, and a Word document and choose Save under and added a 2 to name the document, save an exact copy of the documents. Each copy has appeared in recent and open items without any problems. Copies of rename the original name and overwrite the originals, reduced the problem. I searched the registry files to see if there's information about save them in a special place, but nothing found. They were only listed in the MRUlists for each of their applications, showing other open documents recently Excel and Word.

    Since I had made changes to the documents and saved the changes in copies that end in 2, I chose save as once again and replaced the original files with updated copies. Now my original files, with the update of information, see and open from the list of recent items.

  • Try to use Windows Update to install 2 updates, get "updates are not configured correctly. Restoration of the changes

    Try to use Windows Update to install 2 updates (Windows Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Vista) and an a security update Cumulative for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows Vista KB253048. It's on a laptop at home unique stand alone, works with Windows Vista Home Premium SP2.

    Windows Update initially reported two updates correctly installed and asks me to restart the PC, what I'm doing. Before the connection at the reboot prompt, I get a message saying "updates are not configured correctly. Restoration of the changes. It is the next messages saying: step 1/2/3 of 3 0% complete.
    After I then connect I get the message ' Windows to not install important updates.

    Update history reveals the KB253048 cannot install (error 80070005), but IE9 installed successfully. However when click on the IE icon and run Internet Explorer version 8 of Internet Explorer, I get, not version 9.

    I tried to do this several times on 2 days, but get same problem.

    This gives a shot.
