It does not sound like a heat problem.

I don't know a lot about the repair of hardware issues beyond replacement memory and hard drives.

I could try to clean the area of fan/radiator with a can of compressed air and see if that clears any dust that may accumulate.

To do this, disconnect the laptop from the AC adapter and remove the battery.

Insert a rod through the air fan to keep the blades turning when you spray air.

Spray through the air intake fan and watch to see the dust out of the exhaust.

Repeat once or twice and blow air from the other direction of the drain line to the fan.

The other driver, you need is the driver of protection Protectsmart hard.

    See if it works.

    Hello

I use a protected R600-11 q. It runs Windows Vista. In recent weeks, it will start is no longer.

    (1) any regular boot (including the security modes & last configuration) translates a text in black screen, with the error message:

"Unable to start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To solve the problem:

    1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
    2. choose your language settings, and then click "next".
    3. click on "Repair your computer."

If you don't have this disk, contact your computer manufacture or the system administrator.
    * Status: 0 xC0000001
"Info: * there was an unexpected error."

    (2) holding F8 at startup-> there is NO option for recovery. All other options cause the ' status: 0 xC0000001 "error.

    (3) I ran using control memory Windows program (holding F2 at startup, then select it) and it found no errors.

    4) there is an option F10 at startup. It gives you some sort of command line option [/ NOEXECUTE = OPTIN] where you can type commands. I don't know what it is for.

I suggest to remove the printer from your printing system, using this document: uninstalling the software of the printer.

Once you have deleted, I suggest to check and repair disk permissions: function to fix the permissions of all utility disk drive.

  • Ink is full, but the print quality is not good with HP Officejet 7000

I was printing on CD labels/stickers just now and noticed that even if I chose Normal / the best print quality, the result is always the same: it looks faded, and as if I'm out of ink.

There are not any warnings I was running out of ink, but I replaced the cartridge anyway. However, print quality has remained the same. Should I set in the settings? Help.

PS, It might be useful to know that, because we bought this last end of July 2010, we only used two or three times, never until today.

I hope you help me find a solution for this. Thank you!

Apparently, the way out is the cleaning cartridge and harmonizing.

  • Reinstall Windows 7 - laptop does not come with a disc or I do not have the recovery partition, all I have is the product key

    Hello

I am running windows 7 Professional on my laptop. I need to know how to format and re install the operating system. My laptop does not come with a disc or I do not have the recovery partition, all I have is the product key. I would also like to know the pilots.

    Kind regards

    Former title: reinstalling Windows 7

Well, your only option is to get the Windows 7 Home Premium disc by following the instructions that I described in the following article:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Then follow the instructions to retrieve reinstall them:

    http://techingiteasy.WordPress.com/2012/04/13/how-to-activate-Windows-7-OEM-license-using-a-retail-disc/

But before you do, make sure that you get the Windows 7 Professional product key if you need to reapply in the future:

Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:

Better Privacy does interfere with Crash Recovery somehow? My computer is automatically installed a Windows Update at 03:00 and switch off. When I started out, I had to restart Firefox. Hello.

It is possible that it was by force the windows closed so your firefox which makes you forget... Have you tried to crash your Firefox to see if the session is not restored?

To plant your Firefox, simply there open, press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC and then, on the process tab in the window that appears, complete the process firefox.exe. That will force Firefox to close at this moment. Do start again. If it works, ok, so it may have been a case isolate. My recommendation is to configure your windows does not install updates without your intervention. Choose something like 'ask me what to do' or something like that.

  • Aspire S3 - will not start with the disc of recovery USB USB ports.

I try to use a USB drive to recovery W8 (made with the acer recovery management) in my S3-391.  The computer starts not with a USB key into one of the ports.  When turned on, the computer will display the "Acer" screen, then the screen goes black, then the "Acer" screen is displayed again, and then the screen goes black again.  It buckle like that until I hold down the power button for a hard cock.  Pressing F2 or delete only put the BIOS or something.  The computer starts well W8 and BIOS without anything connected to the USB ports.  I'm still under BIOS v. 2.07, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it, since I can't do the BIOS with USB in. I've never updated a BIOS but I'm decently computer and could probably google my way through it, if you think it will help.

Everyone knows that or something like that?

    Thank you.

Well, I'm happy that we're sorted with the recovery disk!

With respect to the SSD, I found this.

    Hello

To get started with a Windows disc set 1 boot on CD/DVD order.

/ Settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 as you start then look at screen - 1 place the CD/DVD
in the boot order (remember later). F12 on most Toshiba computers also allows you
to set the order of boot for a start.

Restore points are only usually return 2 weeks or less and backup or repair methods are needed
After this period. Restore points only reset the system functions and backup any programs or
    data.

    I hope this helps.
