Not local brush settings to predefined?

I recently created a couple new brushes for my part, each with their own brush settings. However I have noticed that these predefined do not seem to encapsulate information about these settings, for example if the brush is wet edges or dynamic form etc.

For example;

  • I will work with a brush of pretty standard round head without form or wet-edge Dynamics
  • I want to quickly switch to a different brush with a jig head and a different angle on compared to the pressure of the pen
  • I already have a predefined brush before with these settings are enabled
  • However, when I click on that form predefined, although the correct brush head is enabled, the brush isn't one of the parameters like the angle jitter or the active form

Surely a "Preset" brush should carry information on the brush?

Hello

Well, I tried as you said.

The desired selection brush tip.

Defining "setting" (I used the dynamic shape, noise and wet edges)

After that, I navigated to predefined > 'New brush' provided a selected name.

And then I closed Photoshop. Open Photoshop.

Browse brushes, and the result is as you would expect.

These presets are performed. (So the new brush has the dynamics of the wet edges, noise and as I've pre-defined.

I know that it does not offer a solution to your problem. But at least I can confirm that your expectations is correct.

I hope this helps a little.

Additionally, make sure that the "dynamic form, etc." are defined before you save the brush as a preset.

Maybe it happens, you create the brush, save it, and then later change the dynamics, then they are not applied to the screening.

Same thing here. Grayed. Windows 8.1 seems to fill the observer of events with many more errors than previous versions.

Edit: OK, discovered why it is grayed out. There are 2 reg key, you must set permissions before going to the Configuration of DCOM in component services. The CLSID key and the APPID key.

From another forum, although it applies to a different application, same principle:

    1. open Regedit.
    2. go in HKEY_Classes_Root\CLSID\ * CLSID *.
Note: * CLSID * stand for the ID that appears in your event viewer error. In your case, it is {C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239}.

    11. close all tabs and navigate to the administration tool.
    12. open component services.
    13. click on the computer, click my computer, and then click DCOM.
14 find the corresponding service that appears on the display of the error.
    15. right-click on it, and then click Properties.
    16. click the Security tab, and then click Add a user. Add the SYSTEM and then apply.

  • Parameters specified by step do not match the settings of the sequence

I just upgraded from Teststand 4.1.1 to 4.2 and have encountered this

problem during the review of the existing sequence files.

When I open a file of sequence, select any stage of type sequence call, which calls another sous-séquence

in a different sequence file, I learned that the parameters used do not correspond to those required.

To be more precise, in the settings area of the stage, a red exclamation symbol appears at the side of the

subsequence called step, and the ToolTip is displayed when the mouse pointer is

hovered over the exclamation point States:

"Parameters specified by the step do not match the settings of the sequence."

The ToolTip goes on to explain how to solve this problem by clicking on the exclamation symbol.

I find also that by deselecting the "Prototype using sequence" tab in step Settings\Module

    solves the problem.

When the sequence is executed, no problems occur with execution, the test performs correctly.

Is it possible to clear this error for each sequence call not in one operation?

    Thank you

    Gary.

My apologies to attach a file of sequence buggy. I forgot to pass a parameter to the LoadPrototype method to preserve existing settings. I have attached a corrected version of the sequence file. I changed to update SequenceCall not only because of potential problems, reloading the DLL prototypes.

I would try to explain why you see cela TestStand 4.2. The additional results feature, we added to TestStand 4.1 needs to know what parameters are entered, output and input/output (i.e. what settings is pass by reference). Before TestStand 4.1, step of calling sequence does not store this information but rather dynamically got it and it appears in the column how go. Now that we store the past by reference with the step option, you can have an inconsistency between the option stored in step and the current setting of the sequence called. This inconsistency affects only additional results and not execution. TestStand 4.1, the sequence editor to not warn you on these inconsistencies. We have added the TestStand 4.2 warning so that you will have the correct information for additional results.

When TestStand 4.1 or 4.2 load a file of sequence from a pre-version 4.1 version, TestStand sets cervical optionally reference true for all parameters in the call sequence steps. This is why you see the warning for any sequence calling step created TestStand 3.5 If no parameters are not passing by reference. You can also see the problem if you change the option collar called a reference parameter in the sequence.

HI all I would like to ask if you help me, I want to draw paths, but when I use options to mark with a pen or brush settings I lose quality when I Zoom, can someone help me with the settings for the pen?

The work path is a vector and infinitely scalable, but when caress you, Photoshop sets the pixels on a layer following the path.  These pixels are rasterized and based and cannot be resized without loss of quality.  You have options.  If you want to enlarge the raster layer, transform the work path and stroking again.  Or work at a resolution higher, in the first place.

Either incidentally, you can't trace a path with the pen, because it's a vector tool, and caressing is a matrix function based.
