Not to recognize the serial number

So my less than 3 years, MacBook Pro decided to revolt and I had to send it away from getting all the new bowels (logic board, etc.). So after paying $300 I basically get a new computer, which means that I have to reinstall my software. Unfortunately, I try to install my Creative Suite (CS3) and it does not recognize my serial number. I remember having this same problem when I bought this laptop new but somehow got it to work. It is only the second computer, on which I had installed applications. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong or what I can do to recover my programs on my laptop used? I had to use the trial at the end of the work of customers, but he runs fast and I just want my programs back!
